I just created a really cheap quality one in Mac Paintbrush. It's not high art, but at badge size it actually doesn't look as bad. If you can see, I put an ocean wave and a set of cliffs/spire rocks.

The star is for me and could be removed for other members.

If you can do better, by all means. I think the wave and cliffs is a good motif, though anyone is welcome to give other suggestions.

OOC: Have you joined the clan, Evanescencefan? This isn't an open rp.

2nd OOC: Introducing new plot complications

Ospreywhisker ran through the shadowy forest. She knew he would soon reach the coast, and with it her goal. She ran tirelessly, though the journey had been long, resting only when she had to. She knew that all her clan depended on her, and that if Spirestar and HighlandClan could not help her, no one could.

"I wouldn't be surprised if they have," Dashingsoul replied. "And yeah, it's still pretty bad. But it's alright. With you near me...I...barely notice it at all," he said, his pulse quickening slightly. He looked into Fireblossom's eyes. He felt life flowing into him. He smiled.

OOC: aaah. What did it used to be? I'll probably remember you. ;D

Edit: Nevermind. I remember. Here's the recap: There was a clan meeting where Spirestar related a dire prophecy given him by HighlandClan's warrior ancestors, the Noble Council. It depicted a battle between two groups of otherworldly cats with the Highlands on fire. The words Spirestar heard were, "Beware the enemy who strikes from outside and within." Everyone's deciding what to do. And Ospreywhisker is a mysterious new character.

Ospreywhisker chose her words carefully. She knew the future of her clan depended on this exchange going well.
"I am Ospreywhisker. I bear...a message...from a distant clan. I need to speak to Spirestar. Can you take me to him?"
She sat down for a moment and began to groom herself.

OOC: Ok, this is bothering me, not to nitpick. Withefang? If that's really the name, then that's totally cool, but if you're trying to spell Whitefang...you get the idea. Sorry, inner grammar Nazi.

Rushingstream padded over to Opalpaw and touched noses with her.
"I'm glad to be your mentor. I hope we'll be good friends. Get some rest. We'll start training tomorrow morning," he said, trying to sound earnest and confident, though inside he was nervous. He didn't know if he had it in him to be a mentor, and while he knew his duty was to uphold the future of his clan, he felt inadequate. Rushingstream padded over to the warriors den to rest.

    Name: Blade
    Gender: Male
    IMG: See above
Personality: Blade is a quirky cat. He cultivates a "bad boy" image on the outside, but in reality he has very strong moral principles that he will not deviate from. This has gotten him into some trouble when his manner and style puts him in with the wrong crowd. He believes in equality above all else, which makes the birthers policy of The Strays a point of contention with him. He doesn't let a lot of people get close to him, but the real friends he chooses are true ones.
Age: 26 moons (I'm imagining a moon as similar to a human year by cat standards. Think of him as 26 if he were human)
    Rank Desired: Beta's mate
Back-Up (If the desired rank is taken): Fighter
    Crush?: N/A
    Mate?: Emerald if possible.
Kits?: Up to the players involved. I'd be fine with it, but no pressure
Siblings?: Blade has one sibling, a sister, Steel.
Kin?: Parentage currently unknown. He would never admit this, but unlike some strays, Blade does actually have a deep desire to find out where he came from.
History: Blade was abandoned by his parents and left to wander the streets. Some twolegs took him in, and he grew up with Jasmine and Nebula, who he still considers his adopted mother and father, respectively. Though he was grateful for his new life, he was persuaded by a local cat named Splintertooth to run away and join a group of city cats. He lived there for awhile, defending blocks of territory and going on raid missions against other cat groups. It came to a halt, however, when Splintertooth told him to kill one of the kits they had captured, in front of the whole clan. This was meant to be a loyalty test. Blade refused, and Splintertooth ordered his warriors to kill Blade. Blade ran away. At last, by chance, he found his sister. He had been given the name Ashsmoke when he lived with twolegs, but Steel told him of his true name, Blade, which he has used ever since. Eventually, he encountered Fang and initially challenged him to a duel. He lost, but agreed to join The Strays both out of respect for his opponent and in exchange for a better life.

Hope you don't mind my weaving Fang into the history. I don't want to force anyone's character to do anything.

    Ospreywhisker looked at the apprentice.
"That is not for you to know," she said mysteriously. "I must share my message with a leader only."
She continued to walk towards the camp.
"I thank you for your help, however, and you may be rewarded in the moons to come."

OOC: ...agree with psychoteddy...dropping it now...

Rushingstream padded out of the den at dawn. He needed to clear his head before his first day with Opalpaw. He bounded off towards the stream where he often went to center himself.
How can I be a mentor? he thought. I'm barely any wiser or stronger than when Rainsong pulled me out of the ditch where I was going to die. Help me, whatever power lies above us all. Help me.

OOC: Sure. Is Emerald interested in him at all?

Blade finished grooming his fur. He scowled as Fang walked past. Grateful as he was to his leader for giving him a family, he didn't like Fang's callous attitude towards his clan. He stalked off towards the edge of the camp, but suddenly stopped and looked up when he saw Emerald. Instantly his bad mood began to fade. He pricked up one ear. Emerald and Cinder were talking about Fang. Good. This could be his chance to get in on the action. He padded over to the two, dipping his head slightly.
"Pay me no mind. I'm just a voice and a pair of ears in the shadows," he said, with a sly smile at Emerald.
