5SOS is really trying to lean away from their pop sound and go back to more punk rock like they wanted to and I'm proud of them for doing that. I mean, I love them no matter what but it would be nice to see what they would've been like if One Direction never discovered them.

IC: I rolled my eyes at his comment on my entry fee, suddenly feeling a burst of confidence. I couldn't help the smile on my face as he giggled, it was just so amusing to me. When he told me that he couldn't always tell where his attacks land, I slightly squinted my eyes at him. I definitely didn't trust this maniac of a boy. His sanity was obviously long gone.

"Trust me love, I've got no problem with hurting a few animals. I've done it before." I said, my soft British voice twisting the vowels on my words. "Now, how does this work, exactly? How do I tell what to kill?" I asked, looking up at the clearly taller boy.[/fancypost]

IC: I grinned at his remarks, watching as he looked around the forest-like area. He listed a few options and I listened carefully, weighing them all. They had their pros and cons, but the best option I thought would be to let them come to us.

"Let them come to us, love." I said, biting my lip and running a hand through my hair as I locked my eyes with him for a few short moments before studying the landscape of the area.[/fancypost]

IC: I grinned, pulling my pistol out of my boot and keeping my pocket knife flipped open and in my hand. "Oh love, trust me. I'll be okay." I said in response to his 'don't get killed' remark. "Alright, Joshua, you fire first. Let me see what you can do and how this all works, yeah?" I said, looking over at him, a smirk on my face. This was going to be fun.[/fancypost]

IC: I looked over at 'Joshua', now completely sure he wasn't just some guy. Even if this wasn't his first time, he wouldn't know any of that unless he was part of the game itself. When he urged me I snapped out of my daze, shooting a few animals in the heads, and occasionally watching the so-called boy. I almost always made my target, only missing a few times. All the while I was only half focused, still very confused on the boy's actions. But I pushed my thoughts to the side. I'd question him after the fight.[/fancypost]

IC: "Thanks, love" I said, continuing to shoot at various animals. When the last animal was dead, or rather when the last animal had disappeared, I turned to the boy, running a hand through my hair and looking up into his blue eyes. "What the hell are you? Or who the hell are you?" I asked him, after he complimented me on my performance again.

I had noticed that every time a new thing dropped on an animal due to Joshua, the previous object he had miraculously dropped from the sky disappeared, much like the animals. He had to be in on the game, I could feel it in my gut. I shifted my weight slightly to my right foot, looking up at him and fully expecting an answer as I twisted my hair into a bun to make sure it didn't fall into my eyes.[/fancypost]

IC: I sighed, clearly frustrated. "Damn you are one weird boy." I mumbled, not really caring if he heard me or not. I wasn't here to make friends, and I tried being polite, but he was a psycho. He informed me that the mission was complete, and I nodded in response, looking around for a few moments before settling my gaze back onto him.

"I guess you're right, although you are on thin ice right now, Joshua. You make me skeptical, so could you at least explain to me what you were doing with your phone out there?" I said softly, biting my lip. I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to know the answer or not.[/fancypost]

IC: I rolled my eyes at his sorry excuse for a joke and tucked my gun back into my boot, tucking my pocket knife into my pocket after folding it up. He was definitely a psycho, but I know I'd have to try and trust him because if I didn't, I wouldn't last very long. Joshua commented on the time we had left and I shrugged, looking around before looking back at him as he responded to my question.

I sighed, knowing he was right. It was better than him not doing anything, so I knew I'd have to get over it and just try and survive. "Alright, Joshua. What do you suggest we do now?" I asked, looking up at him and studying his facial features.[/fancypost]

IC: I grinned. "Man, I haven't had food in forever." I said, taking his arm and pulling him into a diner. "Ah, now this is nice. Here, c'mon, my treat." I said, pulling him to a table. I had money, so it wasn't a big deal. I ordered a burger and a coke, and turned expectantly to Joshua. "Get whatever, dude. I don't really care."[/fancypost]

I opened my eyes to the sun shining through my uncovered window. I groaned, rubbing the sleep from my eyes and looking around my semi-clean room for a moment before sitting up in bed, grabbing my phone from beside me to check the time. 8:23. I sighed, stretching my arms and swinging my legs over to the side of my bed, standing up and stretching some more. I grabbed my towels from the hook on my wall and headed downstairs to the bathroom to shower.

IC: I smiled at Joshua as he left, rolling my eyes. "Whatever you say love." I said. My burger and coke arrived just as a male worker came over to me, asking me about Joshua. I sipped my coke, noticing the man wringing his hands and the shifting of his eyes.

"I am with him, yeah. Why, you know him?" I asked, knowing that the man didn't. Maybe he knew Joshua before he was dead, and that's why he is freaking out. Whatever the case, this dude needed to get a grip.[/fancypost]

I mumbled some swears and rubbed my eyes, grumbling as I walked back to my room. "Where the hell are you?" I asked, looking around my room. Nobody was on the bed, or at my desk. Not in any of the beanbags or just standing by my vanity or by my closet either. I sat down on my bed, looking around and getting a bit panicky.

IC: I watched the man carefully, and in all honesty I don't doubt that Joshua is a murderer. "Thanks for the warning. I'll be cautious, but I really don't have much of a choice as to whether I stay with him or not. Quickly, go back to work before he comes back." I said, pushing the man a bit before returning to my coke and burger.

AS I ate and drank, savoring the taste I hadn't enjoyed in so long, I thought about the warning the man had given me. I knew that the people getting murdered was probably just the games, but it could've definitely been Joshua as well. This I probably wouldn't ask him about, though.[/fancypost]

IC: I grinned at his inquiry, sipping my coke. "If you don't have to answer all of my questions, surely I don't have to answer all of yours, do I?" I asked, a smirk on my face. "What's with you looking at me all weird anyways, Joshua?" I asked, looking over at him and leaning slightly back in my seat as I did so.[/fancypost]

OOC: My charrie is 18 and works at a bookstore/cafe called "Books and Crannies"

IC: I was stocking new books onto the shelves of the cozy old bookstore, having just come from upstairs to work for the day. My house, or rather apartment, is right above the bookstore. The store itself contains two parts on the first floor, the rows of bookshelves and the little cafe part of it. Not many people came here, as it was nestled in an older part of town. There was a small fireplace with some comfy chairs in one corner, the fire already lit, and towards the front of the shop was a few tables for the folks who just come for the coffee.

Once I had finished stocking the books and brewing coffee, I poured myself a cup and took out a book to read, sitting at the front desk of the place. I wore an over-sized maroon sweater with black leggings and black combat boots, my hair thrown up in a messy bun. I was reading a murder mystery that the author had conveniently tied a bit of romance to, and it was absolutely divine.[/fancypost]

IC: Although his actions took me by surprise, I didn't show it. Instead I grinned at his words. "You don't think I can handle myself, love?" I asked, rolling my eyes. When he responded to my question about his weird looks, I tilted my head slightly to the side, looking up at him with wonder.

"What do you mean, food like this? You're telling me you don't like burgers?"[/fancypost]
