she hoped deadheart wouldn't come back today and catch her by suprise.

padding to her tree, wolfpaw caught a strange yet vaguely famillier scent. she blinked, wondering where she'd smelled it before.

"oh, well," she mewed aloud. she hoped she just imagined it. she didnt need more trouble right now.

shaking off her parinod feeling, she climbed to her branch and layed down.

wolfpaw couldn't sleep, so she watched the forest floor beneth her.

she watched a fat mouse nibbling a seed. "hmm," she mused. "to bad no cat's here to catch that."

wolfpaw angled her ears. she decided to follow the sound. silently, she slid through the undergrowth, following the noise.

"smells kinda like the smell by the tree, and a bit of riverclan," she mewed soflty.

wolfpaw accedently cracked a twig. "fox dung!" she spat loudly(not on purpose).

she saw a apprentice-sized tom padding away. "aha!" she mumbled. "you must be the noise!"

she watched the fight, stunned.

hope i dont get seen, she thought, taking a couple of pawsteps forward. "but i wonder what their fighting about?"

too late, wolfpaw stepped a little to far into view.

she didnt know she was too far into view, she was watching the fight.

turning away, wolfpaw cracked many twigs and made lots of noise, but she was so stunned and scared, she didn't notice.

then she tripped and her paw got stuck in a tree root. she writhed and thrashed around, making a whole lot of noise.

her eyes huge with fear, wolfpaw tugged and yanked at her paw but it just made it worse.
