Ennen watched as he catched the girl. "Doc I really don't believe straps are necessary. I mean the worst she could do is do that evil laugh thingy again. And before you go on about medical PROTOCOL I could care less."
Solace gave Ennen a nervous look. "He might use that dreaded syringe."
Ennen looked at Jina. "Umm will i be able to have company? I have bad memories of hospitals. After my brother died I mean." He let a different nurse take Solace away to her room.
Ennen smiled at then and bowed slightly. "Thank you so much."
Ennen followed them. He didn't like this. The memories were slowly creeping back to him. He rubbed his head as if it would drive the memories away but they did not leave him. He could remember it so clearly. His brother laying before him with his legs gone. He could feel the moment he had grabbed his brothers hand and lied that he would be going home and getting married. Ennen wanted to leave this place.
Ennen walked inside and sat on the nearby bed. "I don't feel like sleeping. I would prefer to just...Talk for a while....Just talk."
"I don't know really." He thought for a minute before looking at them. "Are you two brother and sister?" He smiled a little. This was good it would keep the memories away.
"Oh! Congratulations on the baby Jill. Do you know if it is a boy or girl?"
"Sounds tough Jack."
"I don't feel cut out for desk work." He smiled more. "Missions will be the fun part of my routine i think."
"Oh...I don't want him to write up my report. If he has to write two then I'll write mine to save him doing two."
He chuckled and relaxed a little. "Now i understand why he has to do two."
"Caterpillars are awesome"
He smiled at her. "I'm glad it is Jill."
"Sounds interesting." He smiled at them both.
Solace lay in her bed staring at the T.V. in the corner of the room. She was watching a show about couples having arguments or something. She stared down at her bandaged body and sighed. How could this of happened. She had been reckless. But she had gotten something, A usb that contained data from a computer in that building where Krieg had been. After a painful effort she pressed the buzzer for a nurse.
he smiled back at her.
"I'm gonna stay out here for a little longer."
She looked at her and tried to smile. "I need to speak with miss Kimiko please...She has to come here...I have very important intel..."
He smiled more.
"That will do nicely Jina....Thank you."
Solace shifted a little and winced as her chest wound gave a sharp pain.
