Nami returned long after the sun's last rays disappeared over the horizon and when she returned she smiled approvingly to Nikoli's packing, "What words will I be learning tonight?" The blonde began finishing the packing herself her ears perked waiting for the vampire's lesson. She figured she'd let him remember his roots before they began their training.

Lilac blinked at the adult measuring its size with her eyes and keeping still seeing as usually primates on Earth did that when being territorial. The young woman approached slowly pausing and looked at the guards, "Do not shoot. If you do and I am not being attacked I will make sure you are taken off the planet before tomorrow morning." Glaring to her point across she held the gaze of each mercenary before continuing her approach unsure how intelligent the Kit Monkeys were murmuring, "Hello, there. Would you mind opening your mouth for me? I'm trying to learn about Wonder and you are the first moving specimens I've met today."

Nami easily kept up with the lessons as she finished packing and presented Nikoli with a squirrel, "Eat up. You have more training to protect your mind." The witch headed for the bathroom waiting for the vampire patiently.

Lilac grinned more if that was possible writing down notes on the creature's ability to understand speech along with their peaceful nature. The pale woman sketched out the Adult Kit's teeth noticing they were much too dull to be for meat and put herbivore with a question mark writing down appearances and making comparisons to the young and parent, "I do believe you're the Kit Monkey and Adult Kit in some of the old records. I'll have to see what information they scrounged up. Thank you." Nodding her head towards the pair Ms. Millar paused in her work the eighteen-year-old remembering the males being territorial and looked in the direction Ema had skipped looking at the guards in alarm, "Did any of you go with Ema? The other female?"

Nami saw Nikoli's reluctant expression and almost changed her mind on the lesson before she hardened her resolve knowing this was for his own good. Especially if was going to learn magic and so, without warning, the witch's eyes flashed orange as she slammed against Nikoli's defenses beginning her assault. He did well keeping her out the night before even if it was a struggle, Favorite color.

Lilac tore through the land at Ema's call and relaxed when she wasn't hurt, "Did you sketch it out? And where's Robert?" The scientist looked around for the mercenaries trying not to let her prejudice make her cruel to them. They were protecting her allies after all, "Also, if you see a group of those creatures from before keep your distance. The males are extremely territorial, but they do understand some of our language. Now, where's that footprint you were talking about?"

Nami smiled mischieviously and increased her ferocity ripping and failing to break his defenses, It's time to move on to mental communication. Defend yourself, Nikki~ You're doing well. Her voice was clear in his head, but the pain would be a mere itch for the time being and if he knew better he remembered the pain of the previous night. The feline female crawled forward sitting closer as her green eyes glowed a brighter orange with a hint of red.

Lilac looked excited as she saw the footprint and hopped down beginning to take samples of the soil squealing in glee as she began processing and analyzing the dirt to find out its compisition to see how strong this creature really was, "Ema? Climb out and sketch this out to the best of your ability. Jonathan? How were those trees? What could you find? Oh, and Robert? Would you be a dear and get Mark for me? He'll want to see this too." The scientist seemed to have changed personalities and she skipped around the footprint sketching out other animal prints and even seeing some of them look like the Adult Kits from earlier in the records. I wonder if there is any information on this bad boy in the old records.

Nami blinked at the vampire's voice in her head causing a slight itch making her smile wide, I can hear you just fine, Nikki~ What was your mother's name?

Lilac completed her diagnostic finding high amounts of oxygen laced with aluminum and magnesium with a bit of sulfur in its liquid form. That explained some of the toxins in the air and it intrigued her more as she climbed out of the footprint, "What is the composition of the trees?" Looking around the young woman took out her journal and went to the Adult Kit page writing down diurnal(?) before snapping it shut, "I'll have to talk to Clyde about seeing if we can get permission to come out after curfew in a few weeks. Not all of the creatures are going to be diurnal and if we can learn enough about some of the night and day activity we may be able to manage staying out all night and seeing not just how the animals react, but the plants and water too." Squealing the pale girl spun around before adjust her beanie and measuring the footprint. The more they knew the better and with the knowledge of the ground's composition and of its different layers, along with the water's and trees' then it would make the rest of their work much easier.

Nami relaxed and took out a book laying back and pretending to read, Tomorrow night if you are learning this quickly we'll try talking out loud. My mother was named Nariko and my father was Loke. Mother was a witch and father was a shape shifter. They continued on like this with the witch asking questions and the vampire answering until the morning when she finally let him break, "Let's go to bed."

"That's interesting because the ground itself is 53% oxygen, 28% aluminum, 13% magnesium, and 6% sulfuric acid." The woman began pacing and beamed at Mark greeting him with a large hug before dancing back, "Composition of the water?" She wouldn't be surprised if it was high in oxygen and hydrogen with how little it rained on Wonder. The man's comment on the footprint made Lilac flip back to her own sketch of the footprint listing the number of other footprints on it, "That means it may be able to fly or jump and by the looks of how old it is it is most likely nocturnal. It wouldn't be hard for it to miss the eye of the mercenaries. If it flies the only reason I can see for it to fly down is if it was catching some food...hm..."

The next time the pale man awoke he would find a golden cat curled up on his chest sleeping soundly as the black cat alarm's arms began to fill with an orange liquid stopping not even a tenth of the way. Waking and stretching the cat hopped off Nikoli and glanced at him cleaning herself, "We leave at dusk and will continue training on the road. You will teach me russian until the last ray of light has died."

Silent the scientist closed her eyes listening before clapping her hands together, "Alright. Let's head back with what we have and begin analyzing more at the lab. We'll talk to Clyde and Rogers about the print and staying after curfew. Tomorrow I want to look at more water sources and the plant life. If we have time the mountain range as well. Agreed?"

Ic-Nami opened a green eye at the vampire and pawed his nose, "Don't go back to sleep. It's time to get up now." Turning human there was a new weight on the vampire's chest as she stared at him before digging her claws lightly into his chest propelling off to the front door and heading to the bathroom to bathe, "You will take a bath after this. Enjoy it for the next one won't be for two months."

Ic-When they returned forget-me-not blue spun around the crew as Lilac used her slightly increased speed from her amphibian species to begin closing outside doors and windows before pressing the button on the front panel taking off the mask and scratching at her neck where her gills would appear if submerged, "Oh my god that feels fantastic! I'll be showering soon after I make copies of the data and unpack." Ignoring Mark's comment the young woman decided he might be someone she could invite for a swim seeing as he was eager to see nude women in the first place. Chuckling at Jonathan blue-gray eyes flicked to the fleeing Mark, "He's the best in his field even if some find his personality some things to desire." Leaving to unpack and choose her own room the pale female set to unpacking and copying all data the previous scientists had gathered along with all of theirs before heading to the lab to begin further diagnostics.

Everyone has heard of the tale of King Arthur's knights and his quest to keep all safe from the evil of this world, but what many don't know is that the knights were no mere mortals. No, they do not age, they do not get sick, and they are far from human. The knights are the monsters that villagers spoke of in old wives tales. The werewolf, the vampire, the witch, the gargoyle, the siren. Arthur's knights with his trusty sword Excalibur kept the people safe and in exchange were forced into secrecy, but now in the modern years the knights have come out of hiding. In a mere two years they've become beloved protectors of the world from all rogue creatures that go bump in the night. Along with the Knights reveal they have also created an orphanage for orphaned non-humans that were allowed to be exposed. Sadly, not all humans took kindly to this and attacked several non-human day species. But that is only a small problem compared to the more recent issue of the knights: Wolf, the werewolf knight went rogue and the investigators of the Knight of the Roundtable have informed them that he is gathering an army. The knights must train the new recruits quickly and choose their successors soon before it is too late and the army becomes too large for the knights to handle.

Nami did not take long bathing and she had even paused studying her own scars and there were many. Most of the scars looked like runes had been etched into her chest and arms and a large rune on her stomach while her back and legs were covered in a mix match of scars. Some were from battles, some from torture, others she wouldn't bring herself to remember. Taking a breath the witch summoned an illusion that made her skin ripple like water before appearing as if she'd never been hurt in her life. Dressing the blonde checked their packs, the black cat alarm she had Nikoli set, burned the list, and then went into the locked room at the end of the second floor right before the stairs to the attic. It was three hours before she came out again and checked all spells she had cast on it as well as the locks walking around and murmuring soft spells to keep the house safe while they were gone.
