Redfang gawked in shock! This conniving lynx! She bit down on the air and seethed for a moment. WHAT TEST WAS HE EVEN TALKING ABOUT?! Redfang stomped behind him, mumbling to herself on how crazy that lynx was.

Adders! Redfang was instantly curious. She had had rattlesnakes in her desert home, so she wondered if adders were any different. She had been taught how to kill rattlesnakes since she wasn't a pure blood Boneclan member. Boneclan cats had a blood immunity to snake venom. Redfang wondered how she'd fare if she was bitten...

How had the lynx noticed her curiosity? Redfang flicked her tail as she looked at the pile of rocks. Boneclan ancestors had performed special venom injections by milking snakes and keeping the venom, only to later give it to their cats in small doses every day. Over time, the cats became immune. Of course, Redfang didn't want to push her luck with trying to catch the snake. "I think I'll hold out on that one," she mumbled, thinking about the possibility of her getting bit.

Redfang looked at the large tree. She had never seen one so tall. There weren't anything but cacti where she came from. She had never climbed a tree in her whole life. "Wonder what it would be like to climb a tree?" Redfang thought out loud.

Redfang's heart skipped a beat. Did she hear what she think she heard?! The lynx had complimented not only on skill, but looks! She couldn't believe her ears! Her brain had a tough time wrapping around the concept, and even a harder time fathoming what to do. "Pfft, uh, okaaayyy," she slurred like and idiot, following the lynx

"Oh, you poor thing. You're scared, aren't you?" Redfang attempted to put her tail on the back of the tom for a moment. "But here in Boneclan territory," she attempted to kick the foot out from under the tom and aimed to pin him down, her fangs barely an inch away from his face. "I'm told to kill trespassers like you." She got off him and licked down her ruffled fur. "Of course, I'm feeling gracious today. You will live if I tell the leader you should. You just have to make the two day journey back to camp. You see, Boneclan's methods," Redfang unsheathed her claws and lifted up her paw to look at them. "Tend to gain us an abundance in territory free of other clans." she grinned for a moment. "So what do you say? Come with me, or die? I think the answer is quite obvious," she cooed to the tom, looking down at him.

Redfang purred at the tom. "Excellent choice, my dear. You're pretty smart for someone so brutally scarred. Yet I once loved someone who had the same injuries as you. He died of a rattlesnake bite thought." Redfang thought out loud, trailing off. "Oh well. Tell me, tom. How old are you and your sister, hmm?" Redfang wanted to know the chances of them getting accepted into the clan. The she-cat would be made into a slave, but the crippled tom would be put in the dungeons to die unless a warrior wanted him.

That saying was familiar to Redfang. In Boneclan, whenever you found a weakness, you eliminated it. Wiped it clean away. In Boneclan, they made sure that if you had some sort of weakness, it got shoved away quickly. Redfang looked around into the tree tops. Trees were a mysterious thing to her, seeing as she had never seen one in her whole life but a few moons ago.

Redfang leaped backwards with a loud yowl and unsheathed her claws mid air, landing with her hackles raised and teeth bared. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"She screeched at him, a growl in her throat.

She pouted for a moment. "I've killed a fox before! I can fight!" Redfang declared, her nose high. Of course, that scar on her back leg wasn't from her clan mates. No. They scarred her left shoulder some. The scar on her back leg was from that very fox. One that had strayed out into the desert while she had been hunting. Redfang's ego had gotten to her and she had tried to kill it, succeeding, but not without injury. It had been a starving fox too, so it hadn't been too hard, but it was still a fox none the less to Redfang.

Redfang looked across the vast grassy hills. Now this was a place she could get used to. Being able to see all around would be just like back in the desert. She pricked her ears up after Cobradeath's comment on it being quiet in the forest. She heard some birds chirping. To her, that was noisy. The only thing she had heard in Boneclan besides the clan itself were hawks during the day and owls at night.

"That's a concept I'm all too familiar with," she responded darkly, thinking of the clan raids she had done after a patrol had spotted a cat on Boneclan turf. One particularly stuck out to her as she went on memory lane. Snakeclan. A clan whose territory used to be next to theirs. She had seen one on her territory chasing a rabbit once. Of course, she had killed that cat instantly. Redfang had then gone back to camp and got permission to lead a patrol to attack Snakeclan since that wasn't the first time she had seen one hunting on their land. They had waited for the seasonal rain to come so their scents would be covered. Soaking wet, Redfang led a patrol of nine warriors into Snakeclan camp. By the time the storm was over, Snakeclan was extinct. Warriors, leaders, kits, and elders. Redfang had filed that in her head as one of her darkest days and one she wished she could forget. When she had been so hungry for power, she had helped in the destruction of an entire clan. Redfang shook her head and continued following the lynx.

"This is the first forest I've ever been in. I could only think of all the tactical abilities one would have with so much cover. There's greenery everywhere." Redfang looked all around as the bushes, leaves, and stones.

"Snow? What's snow?" Redfang asked, tilting her head in curiosity. "And what's leaf bare and leaf fall?" What were the words? She hadn't a clue what they meant.

Redfang tripped on the ground when Cobradeath complimented her. She toppled over and landed face first on the ground. Redfang always got extremely nervous when people gave her a compliment, but this was taking the ground right from under her! What were this lynx's intentions?! Redfang got up and pretended like nothing had happened as she shook the dust out of her fur. She couldn't imagine sitting in a bush all day stalking something. She would definitely be the cat that charges into battle. That's what she had always been.

Naturally aggressive? Blood thirsty? Redfang now wanted to meet one of the cats. Se how aggressive they really were... She felt like those cats were people she could relate to. Or, she could see how tough those cats were. See how much of a challenge they would be in a fight. The Boneclan instincts started to rise up in Redfang. She now felt the urge to hunt them down and struggled to shake it off.

She laughed dryly. "Who said anything about having honor? When I kill, it's either for a show of dominance or pride," Redfang said with a sinister tone. "I've never heard of a violent clan besides my own. I'm now interested to find out how tough these cats really are is all." Redfang held up her paw and looked at her claws. "I'm sure I could take a few on at once."
