Shadepelt heard Mustangstar's screech and bolted to his nest. "What happened??" He asked, out of breath.

Shadepelt glanced at Spiritheart and turned to Mustangstar. "So are you OK?" He mewed at last.

Can I be one of the kits?

Shadepelt padded through the forest, unaware of the loner. Suddenly, he scented something . With a twitch of his tail, he moved silently towards the new smell.

Shadepelt padded through the darkness, suddenly aware of a cat scent. He followed it until he found a beautiful gray she-cat. He stared at her with widened eyes. Wow... He thought to himself.

Shadepelt sniffed the air, aware of the scent getting closer. He perked his ears at the slight crunch of leaves. Footsteps? He crouched and slid into the nearby undergrowth, watching with narrowed eyes.

Shadepelt just noticed the other cat. He glanced at the black tom, and back at the she-cat. "Yeah.." He added lamely, his pelt growing hot. For some reason he couldn't think straight.

Shadepelt shuffled his paws and smiled at her. "What's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Shadepelt." The gray tabby looked around. I wonder if she usually has this much of a crowd..? He thought with a twitch of his whisker. I wouldn't be surprised..
Shadepelt stared at Kala. She's beautiful..

Shadepelt shook himself off. "who are you!" He hissed.

Shadepelt looked around for Spiritheart.

Shadepelt twitched his ears. "Uh, well, i'm Shadepelt." He mewed at last.

"Thanks.." Shadepelt mumbled. His pelt grew hot. "Uh, you have a nice name too."

Dawnwhisker trotted up to Willowpaw, noticing the Windclan cat. "Whats going on?" She pressed with narrowed eyes.

"Wait!" Shadepelt stumbled. Wait, what am I doing? He shook himself off. He thought quickly. "Uh, are you a loner?"
