Her blood ran cold. She looked away, afraid he'd see the pain in her eyes. Dawnwhisker suddenly a rush of anger. What was she even doing here, thinking they may actually be together? "This was such a waste of my time." Dawnwhisker lashed her tail furiously. "You were such a waste of my time!" She snarled.

"Oook guys." Dawnwhisker stepped in. "I'm just happy everybody is okay." She mewed, glancing back and forth between Jay and Felix. "You guy's are okay, right?" She asked with a nervous twitch in her tail.

Dawnwhisker started. "Oh, yeah i'm still here. We're just... sorting things out." She said with gritted teeth.

Dawnwhisker shook her pelt. "Well.. what do we do now?" She asked, glancing at all the cats.

Dawnwhisker watched his sad face, and wondererd what he was thinking. "Are you okay?" She pressed gently.

Brambleheart, a brown tom with bright blue eyes padded through the forest, wishing he had somebody. His best friend was to worried about his mate to notice him anymore. Wish I had a mate.. He thought sourly.

Dawnwhisker touched his muzzle with the tip of her tail. Whatever he was thinking must have been horrible. She suddenly felt the urge to comfort him, wash away the sad memories.

Dawhisker's head popped up as she heard kits crying. With no hesitation, she raced towards the noise.

"M`kay.." Dawnwhisker mewed, padding up to Thunderwing.

Dawnwhisker looked into his eyes. I wonder if he likes me..? She thought as she watched him nuzzle her tail. A shiver of excitement ran through her. No he doesn't.. She told herself, but she wanted him to.

Brambleheart scented sparrow, but when he looked up he saw Mossfoot. He stumbled back in suprise.

She wanted to ask him how he felt, but couldn't bring herself to do it. Her other regections in the past stuck with her no matter what, but somehow this was different. Or so she thought.

Dawnwhisker whipped around, startled. "What??"She had never thought about Jay like that. She thought of Felix. "N-no" She stammered.

"Hey Mossfoot! So do you want to hunt with me?" He asked with a twitch of his tail.

"wait!" Where are you going?" Dawnwhisker took a step towards Felix.

Dawnwhisker just wanted to leave. "Well, it was nice to talk to you." She flashed Thistleheart a fake smile that almost hurt. She turned, hoping he wouldn't see the pain in her eyes. "Let's go." She murmured to Goldenfire.

"I mean.. well- why??" Dawnwhisker stuttered with an embarrassed twitch of her ear.

"Your right." She mewed sadly to him. "You deserve someone ten times better than me." Dawnwhisker flicked her ear and looked away from Felix, feeling teary herself. She hated to see him cry.

Dawnwhisker looked at both of the toms. She loved Felix, but also had feelings for Jay. Iv'e caused all of this.. She thought guiltily. "You know what? You two stay. I'm the one causing this.." She searched for the right word. "Confusion." A lone tear dripped down her cheek but she shook it off. "I'm sorry." She whispered.
