Oliver, the orange tabby kitten who lived in a house in the Ultra Rich Neighborhood, though not rich himself, had a great family and great owners. And, how nice it was of them to take him to the park! It was so fresh and free out here; it almost felt like where Sunclan lived. The kit ran squealing, and the dog dashed after her, barking. Oliver hopped over to the central fountain and sat on it, watching the water.

[align=center]It had been seasons since Oliver, the former Sunclan apprentice, had ran away from Sunclan. He had aged over time, and grown into a healthy young cat. Right now, he was laying in the flowerbed when he saw another cat come to the gate. A brown tabby she cat with a white underfur and muzzle. He ran towards her, hissing. She screeched as well as Oliver pinned her, "What are you doing in my garden? Get out!" The cat was older then him, as she locked her jaws around his neck. Oliver aimed a quick bite to the spine as he was pinned. He recgonized the cat, "Appletree?" She asked, "Who are you? How do you know my name?" Oliver stammered, "It's me... Oliver. I ran away a long time ago." She meowed, "Oliver!" And nuzzled him. "I came back for you. Everybody misses you; the badgers are gone... but they have done damage." Oliver looked at her, "I can't go back. Everyone doesn't know me anymore. And those wolves are probably still there." She looked up sadly, "They are... Some cats joined them." Oliver looked up, "Maybe I should go back." Suddenly the door opened and his twoleg came out. She saw Appletree and began shouting and waving at her. "Run!" Oliver yelled as he sprang into the birdbath. She shouted and ran inside to get her mate; he often handled stray animals. "Go! Now!" He screamed. "You first!" said Appletree as Oliver sprang from the birdbath and over the fence. Appletree tried to get through the gate, "It's locked!" She cried. "Try the birdbath!" She nodded and leapt into the birdbath just as the male twoleg came out, carrying a stick with a strange material attatched it to it. He screa,ed amd ram towards Appletree. She leapy from the fence and over and ran after Oliver. "Let's go!" she meowed. "It's gonna be a long journey..." Oliver meowed back.

And he was right. But this was just the beginning.

Oliver had recently ran away from his twolegs and was going back to Sunclan, with Appletree, his foster mother, as company. They had traveled for a long time, through forests and water, and avoided enemies. One time a fox almost caught them in Windclan, and a badger had tried to make a meal out of them, but they got away. They had finally reached a site they could make a camp at; Sunclan's old home, an abandoned school soon to be demolished. "I can't believe I once lived here," he rasped. "Well, this looks like a good place to camp at." Appletree meowed. "We'll put our food and water supply here." They slowly entered the doors, which were stained and dirty and broken, but open. "Whoa... it's so dark... thank Starclan we cats can see in the dark." Oliver meowed. "It's dusk and the sun is setting, let's just sleep and stay here for perhaps another day or so." Oliver nodded, "Good idea, Appletree."

Sure, it had only been a few days since they had moved to their new home, but he had orders and he was going to damn well follow them. Wading into the salty water, the serval would grin as it washed around his paws, the white foam bubbling against his pelt as he turned and direction his attention to the beach.

"Alright, listen up!"

His shout would echo in and out of telepathy, being heard by any cat around the perimeter. It was time to teach these softies how to swim, he knew many of them couldn't, and many of them hated the water-- typical cat stereotype, wasn't it? Personally, he loved the water, especially this water. It was warm and clear blue, you could see all the way down to the pale tan sand below. Glittering bokeh like shapes hovered above the water as the sun bore down upon it, cascading it's light all the way down to the ocean floor.

To state it simply it was god damn beautiful.

As small waves crashed against his back, his pelt was quickly speckled with clear droplets of water that quickly built up against his pelt and gave him an almost unearthly contrast. Cold, steely blue eyes would watch as the crowd quickly grew, and as they did, the tiniest hint of a smile would grow on his black lips, and he would step back, allowing the surge of the water to grow up to his lower shoulder. Of course his legs could still be seen, in fact he was still standing, even if the picture of his limbs was blurry as the clear liquid splashed around him.

"I'm going to teach you guys how to swim," Permafrost would then explain, grin growing as amusement filled his gaze. He knew that most of this clan had no idea what to do with water, but most of their prey was in water now! Fish, of all sizes and colors, they might even see a few swimming around his paws! They had to learn sometime, huh?

"Well? Who wants to learn first? Come on, don't be shy."

"Yay! This is the best thing about our new home." Californiaweather loved water, and knew how to swim. Maybe Permafrost would let her help? Slowing down her pace, she said in a more casual voice, "Mind if I help? I already know how to swim."

Sunpaw smiled happily as she remembered her two-legs had a pool. She had actually learned swimming, but only a little bit. "Really! I know how to swim a little!" The thug meowed proudly as she stepped slightly into the water not afraid of getting her own paws wet.

Rosepetal scoffed slightly at the younger she-cat's enthusiasm. It wasn't natural for a cat to want to swim, and the cream tabby didn't much care for the idea.Report to Staff

"One at a time, I don't want you guys getting swept away by the current." the tom would instruct gently as he glided forward to stand near to Alice. "Alright, Alice. Step into the water." Perma would murmur with a gently grin as he then retreated backwards to be partially submerged in the cyan water. Glancing behind him ever so slightly, the massive white feline would glance to his apprentice with a soft chuckle.

"Try to partially submerge yourself into the water. It's not cold."

Without hesitation, Alice wobbled into the water. At first, the feeling of the water on her fur was slightly uncomfortable, but she got used to it. Glancing back towards Permafrost, she began to walk deeper into the water. Soon, her head was right above the surface. This was cool! "What now, mister Permafrost?" The brown tabby apprentice asked. Alice wasn't worried about drowning- with Permafrost teaching her, surely she would learn to swim without incident.

Nodding in encouragement as Alice waded into the water, he would kick backwards and go floating about a foot away from his apprentice. His legs worked beneath him almost by instinct, and there he hovered in the pearly blue depths. "Paddle with your paws, kick back and strike forward. Kick, strike, kick, strike." Perma would instruct, even giving her an example, causing him to lurch closer.

Alice backed away slightly before first splashing her front paws under the surface of the water. Her front legs extended as she moved her front paws up and down in front of her. The apprentice's back legs kicked out, one at a time. As soon as all of her paws were off the ground, she began to sink. She immediately retracted her paws in order to support her so she could stand properly.
Frustrated, Alice observed Permafrost then tried again. She lifted all of her limbs off the ground at once and began to make strokes with her front paws instead of splashing them. Her back legs kicked out softly under the water as she began to propel herself towards her mentor. "I'm doing it, I'm doing it!" Alice announced to Permafrost. Of course as fate would have it, right after saying that, she started to sink again. Oh well, practice makes perfect!

Looking amused, the tom would swim to the younger she-cat's flank to help her surface. "Lean against me," the tom would murmur as he continued to steady himself beside her. "Move in sync with me, alright?"

Striking forward with a paw he would move slowly, as if by queue, his back leg would kick, and then the other side of his body would work. Strike, kick, kick, strike.

"You can do it, Alice."

Vertigo -- a bit nervously, which was quite unlike the leader, as he often made it a point to appear confident in public scenarios -- approached the scene, his fur bristled as an indication discomfort. Why was the cream tabby so unsettled? Well, he had no idea how to swim, of course. His clumsiness with water was one of the reasons why he had so much trouble fishing, and so knowing that he would now have to learn how to actually swim on top of that was... not something he was looking forward to, to say the least.

For now he took a back seat to the other participants, watching with reluctance in his eyes. Permafrost seemed right at home in the stuff, and Alice didn't look very afraid of it either. Even when she waded in, getting deep enough that only her head poked above the water, making her look slightly comical from his vantage point. She appeared to be a small head floating in the sea. Then, with Permafrost's instruction and a little determination, that small head started to bob it's way toward the serval. She was swimming.

Vertigo smiled, and would have even congratulated her if not for the fact that he was somewhat afraid that Permafrost would take note of him and call him forward. He felt like an apprentice trying to avoid being selected for bed-changing duty, a feeling he certainly hadn't experienced in a long time.Report to Staff

This time, she outstretched her front paw with a strike and kicked out her back leg forcefully, then kicked out her other back leg and outstretched her opposite front arm. Soon, she was swimming. It was hard to keep her head above the water, but she was beginning to get it right. I can do it, mister Permafrost said so. And mister Permafrost knows everything! She assured herself. With a bit more force in her legs, she brought herself to were the water was just touching her neck. "Mister Permafrost, mister Permafrost! I'm swimming! Am I doing it right?" She tried to speak with her mentor while at the same time focusing on keeping her head above the surface.

Shadowpaw's ears perked up. Attackers!?!?!? Huh?!?!?? "Oh great, those Elite foxhearts. Not again." She hissed, standing herself up and dashing into battle.

Nobletail of Shadowclan leapt into the clearing, "PREPARE TO GET YOUR LIVES RIPPED AWAY!"

The badger lumbered into the clearing, his eyes glinting with malice, teeth bared. He was going to rip apart all of these Thunderclanners, no matter their age, species, whatever.

The apprentice hissed as the raccoon caught her off guard. She was not going to let some vermin murder her. She aimed to grab the raccoon with her jaws and shake it back and forth, hoping to make it dizzy.

Personality (No Meet him/her/me): Sagewind is a very stealthy cat. She is really good tracking prey or other cats. She can excited easily and tends to make friends easily.
RP Sample: Sagewind tasted the air, sensing another cat she did not know. Due to her curiosity, she silently followed the cat. She crept alongside the rocks, seeming to blend into it. She pricked her ears
as she listened for the other cat. After a few heartbeats of not getting anything, she cautiously crept back up the rocks. That was the cat I saw yesterday..., she thought to herself. She's been tracking that cat since the day she came across it. She sighed, giving up and went back to camp.

Sure, it had only been a few days since they had moved to their new home, but he had orders and he was going to damn well follow them. Wading into the salty water, the serval would grin as it washed around his paws, the white foam bubbling against his pelt as he turned and direction his attention to the beach.

"Alright, listen up!"

His shout would echo in and out of telepathy, being heard by any cat around the perimeter. It was time to teach these softies how to swim, he knew many of them couldn't, and many of them hated the water-- typical cat stereotype, wasn't it? Personally, he loved the water, especially this water. It was warm and clear blue, you could see all the way down to the pale tan sand below. Glittering bokeh like shapes hovered above the water as the sun bore down upon it, cascading it's light all the way down to the ocean floor.

To state it simply it was god damn beautiful.

As small waves crashed against his back, his pelt was quickly speckled with clear droplets of water that quickly built up against his pelt and gave him an almost unearthly contrast. Cold, steely blue eyes would watch as the crowd quickly grew, and as they did, the tiniest hint of a smile would grow on his black lips, and he would step back, allowing the surge of the water to grow up to his lower shoulder. Of course his legs could still be seen, in fact he was still standing, even if the picture of his limbs was blurry as the clear liquid splashed around him.

"I'm going to teach you guys how to swim," Permafrost would then explain, grin growing as amusement filled his gaze. He knew that most of this clan had no idea what to do with water, but most of their prey was in water now! Fish, of all sizes and colors, they might even see a few swimming around his paws! They had to learn sometime, huh?

"Well? Who wants to learn first? Come on, don't be shy."

"Yay! This is the best thing about our new home." Californiaweather loved water, and knew how to swim. Maybe Permafrost would let her help? Slowing down her pace, she said in a more casual voice, "Mind if I help? I already know how to swim."

Sunpaw smiled happily as she remembered her two-legs had a pool. She had actually learned swimming, but only a little bit. "Really! I know how to swim a little!" The thug meowed proudly as she stepped slightly into the water not afraid of getting her own paws wet.

Rosepetal scoffed slightly at the younger she-cat's enthusiasm. It wasn't natural for a cat to want to swim, and the cream tabby didn't much care for the idea.Report to Staff
