"I'm a half moon older than you." Snowpelt said to them. She really couldn't believe she was older than them but she decided not to think about it.
Eaglewing didn't approach Roseleaf even though he wanted to. He was burning up though. She had told him to go away. And he didn't really want to anger her any more than he already had. "I still don't know what I did." He said sadly.
-
"And what would that be?" Snowpelt asked, interested.
-
"Wow." Snowpelt said amazed. She then said, "Get off. I wanna try."
-
Snowpelt smiled and ran towards it. She pounced and landed. It immediately started moving but she only had one problem, "How do you stop?" She asked with fear in her voice.
-
Snowpelt nodded. She didn't think it could be that easy. She jumped off and the rock rolled away and down a hill. "Thanks." She said to him. She walked back over and rejoined the small group.
-
Snowpelt woke up in the warriors den with a small yawn. She looked around and realized she had slept through most of the day. She sighed and stood knowing she would be in trouble. She stretched her stiff legs and licked down so fur that was sticking up. She trotted out into the clearing and went over to the fresh kill pile. She looked around it and decided to go with a plump mouse. Her white fur was glowing in the moon light making her a sort of beacon in the dwindling light. She light blue eyes studied the mouse looking for the best place to start eating. She tore into the mouse and sighed at the good taste on her tongue. She finished off the mouse and lay down looking for something to do.
Stormclaw had been up since dawn, hunting. He had caught enough fresh kill to feed half the camp. He trotted back into the camp and dropped off some fresh kill. She then took his own meal and laid down next to his sister. "Hello sister." He said to her quietly. She nodded back but didn't say anything. Stormclaw finished his meal and pushed the bones off to the side. He put his head down on his paws and sighed a happy sigh. His dark grey pelt made him start to blend into the shadows as night approached. His yellow eyes studied the clearing. His thoughts wandered but stayed around the fact of family. He hadn't known his parents neither had his sister. And they both, for some reason, wanted to raise a family of their own. Not together though, obviously.
The 9 and a half moon old apprentice shivered. He was in the apprentice's den. He was having a terrible dream......Sunpaw ran. He ran and didn't look back. The evil one chased him. He didn't look back but he knew that the evil Kheri. Kheri was on his tail. "No! Go away! I was let free!" He screamed. Kheri laughed evilly. Kheri grew and Sunpaw screamed. Kheri's mouth closed around Sunpaw. Sunpaw fell through nothingness still trying to run out. "No! NO!" He yowled. Sunpaw woke up yowling "NOOOOOOO!!!!" He looked around noticing that he had woken(waken) up the whole den. He sighed and walked outside. He ginger pelt started shining in the early sun light. He walked over to a corner between a boulder and the canyon wall. He laid down in it and placed his head on his paws. Several thoughts ran through his head.
-
"Oh. Hello there Leafedpaw." He said to her. Sunpaw diverted his gaze from the fellow apprentice. He looked at a beetle crawling across the floor. He trapped it in his paws. "Never to escape. Trapped for ever." He whispered to himself. He smashed the beetle. "To be tortured." Sunpaw said evilly.
-
Sunpaw looked up at her. He stood and was nose to nose with her. "Compatibility isn't on my menu right now. Right now I'm trying to devise a way to kill a cat." Sunpaw said to her. After a few moments of silence, Sunpaw smiled and said, "You're right though. After I finish off this cat. Maybe." He then pressed his muzzle to hers and then walked past her. His tail trailed under her chin. He walked over to the leader's den and walked in.
Raz had been sleeping. She had slightly woken when the stupid apprentice had yowled across the clan. She opened her eyes as the ginger apprentice walked in. She shook her brown fur and glared at him. "What do you want? You incompetent fool?" She asked him angrily.
"You know what I want...."Sunpaw growled at her. (Sorry for this last one sentence entrance......)
-
Snowpelt nodded and said, "Doesn't it cold at night, in the desert?" She was asking Heatpelt the question.
Petalkit rolled around on her mother's back.
Eaglewing still sat in the setting sun, not knowing why Roseleaf was angry at him.
-
Eaglewing looked over at Roseleaf. "What did I do?" He asked her.
Petalkit started pushing Flamekit off their mother's back. This was her space!
-
Raz lifted her head and looked down her muzzle at the apprentice. "If I let you go to the Card's territory, you will try to kill Kheri, and go back to the cells. Would you like that? Even though the evil Tom deserves it." Raz said this quietly. It had a menacing tone to it. "Why are you here?" She sneered at Leafedpaw.
Sunpaw glared at the Second from the Cards. "If I get put in the cells, so be it. But I'll kill that evil cat. And so many lives will be better. Let me past." Sunpaw said to the she cat. He growled to emphasize his threat. "Go." He said to Leafedpaw.
Stormclaw got up from where he was sitting. He wandered around camp looking fro something to do. His sister had fallen asleep quickly, even though she had waken(woken) up earlier. He looked around and jumped up on a rock. He then started climbing the cliff to challenge himself. He slipped once and yowled. Stormclaw got his paw hold back and continued climbing the steep slope.
-
Eaglewing sighed and shivered in the cool night. "I seriously don't know. I'm not playing dumb." He said.
Petalkit cried and grabbed onto her mother. She started wailing in hurt.
Snowpelt shivered in the night time desert. "H-h-how m-much f-f-f-f-f-f-f-farther?" She asked Orangeeyes. She needed warmth.
-
Petalkit nodded. "No hurt." She mewled.
Stormclaw looked around.
Snowpelt nodded and then wrapped her tail around her leg trying to make herself smaller, to conceal her heat. "I knew it was cold at night but not this cold." She mumbled.
-
Snowpelt sighed in relief and ran into the cave. She rammed into her brother. "Stromclaw! I've missed you!" She exclaimed. She stood close to him and absorbed some heat. "I've missed you too, sister." Stormclaw said to Snowpelt.
Eaglewing was still out in the night waiting for Roseleaf to answer him.
Petalkit looked at her brother and scowled. She then laid down on her mother's back and fell asleep.
-
OOC: o: Oh.....
IC: "You don't....what?" Eaglewing asked her. He heard a cat yowl something in the cave but couldn't hear what he had said.
Snowpelt looked at Heatpelt before getting down quickly. Stormclaw joined her pressed on the ground.
Petalkit mewled in her sleep.
-
OOC: Who said that and who were they saying it to?
-
Eaglewing stared at her. He stood up. He trotted over to her and sat down next to Roseleaf. "Why?" He asked her sadly.
-
"What? I'm not! I love you Roseleaf." Eaglewing said, surprised.
Snowpelt tilted her head. "What about the back of the cave?" She asked Heatpelt.
-
Eaglewing was so confused. "What is it? Please tell me." He said to her urgently.
-
"Roseleaf!" Eaglewing yowled after her. He ran through the cave past several cats. He went into the back of the cave and didn't see her. He didn't know of the small alcove so he sat staring into the pool of water at the back of the cave.
Snowpelt sighed. "We're all dead then..."
