Kyra gave a small laugh. She sawed through the chain and reached for her pocket. She pulled something out hand handed it to Mika. "You can heve mine" she said with a smile. "All better now?" Kyra reached out her hand to help Mika up.

When everyone came into Zach's room, he was shocked to see tha Mika's collar wasn't around her nack, but in her hand. His mouth dropped. "How'd you do that?!" he said in awe.

Zach laughed. "And what's your method?"

"Hey, can you undo mine?" Kyra asked Mika.

"Who? Me?" Zach asked.

"No!" she whined. "I wanna stay!" after a while of struggling, Autumnkit gave up.

"Thanks" said Kyra. She rubbed her neck. It felt great to have her collar off after having it on for so long.

"Is..." Autumnkit's voice quivered. "Is she going to be all right?" she asked Dovestorm quietly. Autumnkit curled around Dovestorm's front leg, looking for some sort of comfort.

Zach laughed a little, but then he remembered the real reason they were here. "All right," he said. "So does anybody have any ideas about escape?" he asked. "I have a few, but they're not that great..."

Zach looked confusingly at Mika.

Kyra's eyes widened. "Wait. So the rose is a way to escape this place? You have a tunnel? We're getting out?!"

"I'm dying to hit the beach" Zach said.

The beast clawed at Tristan as he tried to throw it off. He punched it in the nose, making it whine. Then he scrambled out from under it, his eyes wide with fear and his shirt dripping with blood. Just as he was about to reach the safety of the cabin, the beast jumped on him again. "AAAHHH!" Tristan cried as its claws dug into his left arm.

Zach thought for a moment. "Wait." he said. "This all seems too simple. Too planned. Almost easy..." How did Zach know that this wasn't just another setup that the professors made for them to train?

"Alright" Zach said unsure. "Just remember guys, I can't do much on land"

Tristan looked up from where he was lying on the ground. The beast was charging at Nicole. "No!" Zach screamed. Using all of his energy, he got up and grabbed the creature's tail, making it whine. When it started going after him, Tristan ran as fast as he could toward the fire. He jumped over the flames, sending the creature falling into the fire.

"Let's go" said Kyra before turing into her white tiger form.

Kyra could see easily in the dark, being a cat. "How long is it?" she asked Mika.

Tristan stood there breathing heavily. His side was torn up and his left arm hung limply. He watched the creature disappear into the forest. Then his legs gave out from under him.

Tristen's eyes were closed and he winced in pain.

"Are...are you ok?" he barely managed to get out.
