"Yeah, she's serious," Rainbow quietly replied. Then she shrugged. "I mean, I guess she could be lying, but I don't know. But if she is, why does she care about keeping it a secret?"

(OOC: Nope, I hadn't posted since the pony said she could go.

If you guys want, we can go the in-between route: The device stays on RD's wing and they screw up her flight, but Misty can catch her or the like before RD hits the ground. That way, the bad ponies still were successful to an extent, RD's still left changed, and Misty still got to help.)

(OOC: Yeah, I know, but she hasn't yet 'cause y'all are bickering and I wanted to sort it out first.)

A little smirk crossed Rainbow's muzzle. "Twilight, I don't know about you, but I'm not one to check out somepony's plot the minute I meet 'em." Her ear twitched at the knock. "Spike, wanna get that?"

(OOC: Alright, Shadownight, RD hasn't taken off yet and I've specified that a few times, but I'll go with it.)

Still on the ground, Rainbow Dash turned back to Misty, surprised at her volume. "I know, I'm awesome!" Then, suddenly, she jerked to the right, her side slamming into the ground. "O-ow--" she grunted, gritting her teeth. What the hay happened?

Quickly straightening up, she glanced back, starting to grow more nervous. She wasn't sure what sort of twitch had gotten into her, but it definitely wasn't a good start. "Keep it together, Rainbow Dash..." she whispered to herself, taking a calming breath and slowly exhaling as she re-took her stance. Flaring her wings, she took off with one powerful thrust, flapping and taking further to the skies. She wanted to gain some altitude before starting her tricks.

Rainbow chuckled at her own joke as she followed Twilight back to Misty, glancing toward the door to see who their visitor was.

(OOC: RD just took off, sorry >> And if it means anything, I actually wouldn't want RD to join the Wonderbolts in this. It's a big part of her character to strive for it, so once she's accomplished it, I wouldn't be able to work off canon as much.)

"Birch Street? Don't you go to our scho--" RD flattened her ears and briefly shut her eyes as Twilight screamed in astonishment, quietly sighing and opening her eyes again a moment later. "Sorry. You don't know your way around Ponyville?"

(OOC: lol Don't call people out on godmodding when everyone's godmodding and the person wasn't even godmodding.)

Rainbow Dash steadily flew higher, higher. She was starting to regain her confidence. Determination settling into her eyes, the pegasus began to spiral, dipping down to swoop majestically back up through a cloud. At the top of her swoop, she stalled, tucking her wings and letting herself fall back into a dive.

As she dove down towards the earth, Rainbow started to spin--and that was when she saw the stone. "Whoa!" The mare flared her wings again and swerved just out of the way, her eyes a little wider than usual. The hay's going on?

Soon, a small flurry of rocks began flying through the air, leaving the pegasus to ditch any sort of routine and focus on dodging. This isn't what's supposed to happen! Where's all this coming from?!

"Well..." Rainbow glanced back at Twilight before looking back to Toxic Heart. "What do you need from there? I could show you the way if it's important. But it is getting kinda late."

"Yeah, I guess that would be important...Hey Twi," she began, looking back again, "I'm gonna help somepony get home, alright? Don't wait up for me!" With a flick of her tail, Rainbow Dash walked towards the door, offering her classmate a casual smile. "Come on, let's get goin;."

(OOC: Hey, hey, no cheating now.)

While she was weaving, a rock clipped her wing, making the pegasus grit her teeth in pain and spiral slightly before she caught herself again. But she ended up in the path of another rock, hunching forward in the air as it hit her stomach. The wind knocked out of her, she started to tumble forward through the air, down towards the ground.

"Cool. I'm Rainbow Dash. Heh, I'm just gettin' to know all sorts of people today," she remarked with a chuckle, walking Toxic Heart out of the library and down the street. "So, why're you staying with your aunt?"

Her ears perked up and tail twitched, gaze quickly swiveling towards Toxic Heart before darting forward again. "Erm...Ah...Sorry."
