Rainbow's ear twitched at the response. "Uh-oh..." Glancing back at Misty, she gave a small nod. "Brace yourself." Turning her eyes back to the door, Rainbow pushed it open, tentatively stepping inside. "You alright, Twilight?"

"You did?" she asked, looking at Mistystorm. "That must have been when those ponies were destroying the place...Well, Pinkie Pie might be gone, but at least we have the second-best detective in Ponyville," said Rainbow, turning her gaze to Twilight.

Blinking, Rainbow glanced at Twilight and lightly nudged her head to the side. "I found Spike." Turning her attention back to the dragon, she grinned. "This is Misty. But I think she can tell ya who she is better than I can."

"Ohp, never mind." Rainbow turned back towards Pinkie Pie as she re-emerged, a smile on her face. "Welcome back, Detective Pie. Ponyville needs you."

"Twilight, this is Misty," said Rainbow, stepping back to clear the ponies' view and nodding to each in turn. "Misty, Twilight. I think Misty goes to school with us, buuut there's somethin' else, too."

The pegasus shrugged, walking further into the library with Twilight. "Sure. What is it?" she asked nonchalantly.

"From what I know," began Rainbow Dash, starting to lightly pace as she quickly gathered her thoughts, "Well, Rarity says that her boutique was vandalized, Applejack says that her apples were tossed into the stream, and I'm gonna guess that your party was sabotaged--nopony would just call you out like that unless they were trying to cause trouble." She looked to Twilight and the others. "Right?"

"Oh...Um..." Rainbow frowned slightly, glancing back at the others. "Applejack called me out on talking too loud, but...I can't really remember what the pony looked like. She was a pegasus, though."

Rainbow's eyes narrowed just slightly as she tried to recall the pony they had briefly encountered. "Oh yeah...She totally stole my mane-style," she grumbled. "I think that's her, yeah. Have you seen her?"

Then she turned her head towards Applejack with a slightly smug grin. "Come on, what pony would dare prank me? Pinkie and I are the masters of pranks around Ponyville." But her smile soon faltered, her expression growing more solemn again. "Besides, some of these aren't just pranks..."

Rainbow Dash lightly rolled her eyes. "Oh, Twilight, Applejack didn't forget you. Haven't you seen what the mystery pony did to your mane? It looks terrible."

"Wait, what? They are? Well--When did you see, Pinkie Pie?" Rainbow Dash's voice lowered, her gaze dropping slightly towards the ground. "I was just joking..."

(OOC: Yeah, 'cause that sounds like a trip to the hospital. lol)

She frowned as Twilight ran off, starting to worry about her, and she looked at Misty when she spoke. "Don't worry," began the blue-feathered pegasus, offering a small nod of reassurance. "we'll find whoever's doing all this. At least they haven't done anything to us so far."

Then she turned her attention to Pinkie Pie. "So you think she's the one doing all this? We only ran into her today; doesn't mean she's the bad guy here."

"Oh, don't throw me under the bus, Applejack," she muttered, rolling her eyes at the farmpony.

"Today? Applejack, don't you think I'd know if the Wonderbolts tryouts were today?" she laughed, looking back at Applejack as she followed Pinkie Pie outside. But as she watched the farmpony, her smile began to fade. "Unless...I...lost track of the days...Oh buck." Rainbow Dash turned with a whip of her tail and charged out of the building, taking to the skies.

(OOC: I dare say this'll be the worst thing they've done so far. Crushing somepony's dreams...)

(OOC: So...where're the tryouts?)

(OOC: On the ground beneath Cloudsdale! haha Compromise.)

In her desperation, Rainbow Dash made good time in reaching the tryout location, just quietly panting. "I'm not...too late...right?" she asked as she walked up.

(OOC: Not sure where you last left off, so here we go.

Twilight and the other Mane Six [or at least those of us who were online at the time] welcomed Misty at the train station. Rainbow Dash learned that Misty was Nightmare Moon's daughter, and Shadownight heard her mention it. While Twilight and RD started giving Misty a tour of Ponyville, the chaos ponies started to prank: they destroyed Rarity's dresses and tore off Opal's fur, tossed AJ's apples into the stream, and then sabotaged Pinkie's party by essentially calling it lame.

The Mane Six, with Pinkie Pie as the detective, started to try to figure out who was responsible for everything, and Pinkie deduced that it was Shadownight and Broken. Twilight ran to the library because Pinkie said they had pranked her, too, and now Misty and RD are at the tryouts for the Wonderbolts, which Shadownight and Broken are going to try to sabotage as well.)

Looking at the officer, RD asked, "So I take off and dazzle everyone? Simple enough." She just waited for confirmation, taking her stance, readying her wings. She couldn't deny that she was nervous--well, she would to other ponies--but she tried to turn that anxiety into greatness.

(OOC: They took a shower before leaving the spa, walked to Twilight's library, and they briefly spoke. Twilight pulled RD away to talk to her in private.)
