OOC: Track! I'm super sorry but I won't be able to post until around 9:30-10:00 tonight. Thanks for bearing with me :)

Alice snored, sprawled out across the small bed in a heap of covers that had been provided in her dorm. Two suitcases, both of medium size laid open on the floor, clothes and books spilling out from the openings in a organized yet messy way. She had gotten there late last night and was exhausted from the ride up. It wasn't until she was jolted awake by the chime of her phone that she looked at the time. "Damn it..." she mumbled seeing it was nearly time for class to start. She grabbed one of the multiple t-shirts lying around and pulled on a pair of jeans, quickly getting dressed before running her fingers through her forever knotted and frizzy curls. "Eh good enough." she said to herself before grabbing some empty binders and notebooks. She briskly exited her dorm, red hair bouncing slightly as she half jogged half walked her way to class. Finally finding her room number she made her way in and plopped herself down on a desk, glancing around at the other students with a light smile. She'd have to start up a conversation soon, but for now that could wait, as most of the students seemed preoccupied with music and doodles. She wouldn't want to piss anyone off.Alex sat silently in the front row of desks, face buried deep into a book, only glancing up when he saw the familiar red curls of his sister walk past him, no thanks to the text he had sent her knowing she would still be asleep. Unlike his sister, Alex had spent most of his night organizing his things neatly onto shelves and organizers. By the time he was done he figured he might as well stay up since class would start in an an hour or so. Putting on a neat blue button up shirt and black slacks he had arrived to class well prepared about ten minutes early and had been reading since, only pausing to make sure his sister was on her way. He wouldn't want to be embarrassed by her lateness on only the first day. He now finally took the chance to examine his fellow students, looking around with his cool and calculated gaze. Seeing nothing of interest he turned back to his book and once more tuned out his surrounds, slightly adjusted his glasses as his icy blue eyes poured over the pages.
OOC: Sorry for any spelling errors or grammar mistakes. I do most of my posts from my mobile device. -
Alice spun around, her mass of frizzy red curls following along as she turned her head to face the other student. Perhaps just a little to eager to strike up a conversation. "Oh, thanks!" she replied with a smile. "Honestly it has a mind of its own. I could never to get it to be as straight and sleek as yours." She said, awkwardly running her hand trough her own hair, her long fingers getting caught by multiple knots along the way. "You hair is really nice too!" She said as she out reached her hand for a handshake. "Alice Anderson. That nerd upfront is my brother Alex." she added nodding her head towards the front of the class. "So I'm assuming it's your first year here?" she asked. So many other questioned teemed in her head. The letter she relieves said the school was for gifted people. Did she have odd powers too? Alice forced herself to take the conversation on step at a time, not waning to overwhelm the kind girl who had complemented her. For now she would wait for Evelyn's response, hoping she would make a good impression on the kind girl. -
Alice chuckled. "Yeah, he's certainly a piece of work." she said her teal eyes glancing in the direction of her brother, who remained buried in his book "He need to learn how to get that stick out of his a**." she muttered. She had made a silent vow to herself to force him to have some sort of social life this year, thinking it would be her way of paying back for the years of tutoring when her grades would start to slip. Focusing back on the conversation at hand, Alice grinned hearing it was Evelyn's first year. "Cool! It's our first year here too!" she said with enthusiasm. The enthusiasm she had just gained however quickly disappeared upon hearing the girl question what brought her here. She mulled over how to answer it. She didn't want to creep the girl out, after all, she was still unsure if everyone in the school had powers of some sort. "Well I got into some heated fights at school. My parents were pissed, they got the letter and sent me off with my brother." she said carefully, not wanting to give away too much. Most of it was true, just twisted a bit. Those fights certainly had been heated. "So what about you?" she asked returning the question. "What brought you to this school?"
OOC: Sorry for taking forever to post. My muse is pretty much dead right now. -
Alice watched in disbelief as the girl in front of her vanished into thin air, excitement and happiness coursing through her, she could feel her hands heating up. "That-That's amazing!" she exclaimed towards the air in front of her, trying to look in the same direction of the now invisible Evelyn. When Alice saw her brother let out a quick yelp as his book was yanked from his hands she couldn't help but laugh. She didn't care if he was staring daggers in their direction. He needed to loosen up. When Evelyn once more reappeared Alice clapped her hands, still chuckling to herself. "That's awesome!" she exclaimed like an excited kid. "Damn that must be so useful, think of all the pranks!" she said, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. Deciding it couldn't do any harm, she figured it would be okay to show Evelyn her own powers. "Well, you know when I said those fights were heated?" she asked. She proceeded to raise her hand slightly above the desk, it didn't take long for a small flame to appear at her finger tips. She could hear her brothers footsteps coming near so she quickly grabbed the book as if it was a hostage and held the small flame underneath it. "Don't do anything stupid, or the book gets it." she said in a mock menacing voice.
Alex was a little more then startled when the book he was reading was torn from his hands. Perhaps a little more shocked then he would've liked to admit. With an irritated sigh he slowly stood from his seat and turned around to see his book between his sister and someone he hadn't bothered to talk to. Taking long steady strides he walked toward the two, planting himself squarely beside the two desks. His icy blue eyes pierced daggers through the two of them as he attempted to snatch the book back, only to be threatened by his sister. His irritation radiated off of him. "Alice, could you quit it with this stupid game?" he asked. Now that the teacher had arrived he was far more annoyed to be caught up in this. He was about to make another grab for it when his sister tossed the book to the blonde girl behind her. "Please tell me you have more common sense then my sister." he muttered as he held out his hand expectantly. He was embarrassed as it was, and longed to get back to his seat before he made a bigger fool out of himself.
OOC: Ugh sorry if this is sloppy, posting from my phone again. -
Hey, a lot of people that signed up never joined the RP thread, should we maybe send them a PM or something to see if they're still interested in the thread before we completely flood them?
-
OOC: So Sorry! Our wifi went out for a couple days, but I should be able to post in an hour or so. Sorry again!

Alice felt her face grow hot as she turned red with embarrassment. Of course she would be doing something incredibly stupid when the teacher walked in. Of course she would be called out for it. Just her luck. She yanked her hand down and quickly patted out the now growing flame. She was glad to have the attention that was once on her quickly be diverted to the strange dragon like girl. She turned back to Evelyn. "You really think?" she said sheepishly. "I mean I'd give a lot to be able to do what you just did." she said with a smile. Not being phased by her brother snatching away his book and once more stalking off, she watch as Daelyvana placed books on everyone's desks, studying the charred handprint on them. "Well damn isn't this girl full of surprises." she muttered to herself as she looked up at Evelyn. She paused for a while however, listening to the fight going on in the back. Alice knew this girl was powerful, and she really shouldn't get on her bad side. But her attitude was bugging her. Quite frankly she couldn't give two sh*ts if the girl was some princess. They were all in the same classroom in the same grade, all of them are equal. "Two centuries old huh?" she said quietly to Evelyn. "If she's so damn smart, then why hasn't she graduated in those two hundred years?" Alice knew she was practically asking to get killed, God forbid the princess had heard her. And honestly the better part of her wanted to befriend this girl. She was fascinating, and Alice had never seen anything like her species, but she couldn't bear the air of snobbishness that surrounded her.
Alex looked at the girl called Evelyn with a look of disdain. His eyebrow raised at the introduction. Ignoring the girls hand he snatched back his book with a frown. "Alex." he said curtly. "I would greatly appreciate it if I wasn't an example for one to practice their powers on." he said before once more stalking back to his desk. Once he took his seat yet again he pushed his glasses up and looked at the new book on his desk. He frowned once his icy blue eyes landed on the black hand print. "Great..." he sighed as he attempted to dust it off but to no avail. Why was everyone in this class so turbulent with their powers. Had any of them learnt how to exercise control? As much as he loathed the fact that not many here could control their powers, he himself couldn't either. He simply focused on not using them at all. He just assumed it would be better to focus on not using them at all and blending in with society. Perhaps then he could live a simple life, untainted by strange powers and phenomenons. He held back another sigh and kept himself content by flipping through the book to get a peek at what they would be studying.

"It's fun, no? Breaking people. Seeing them so helpless and dead inside. Draining every last shred of hope they didn't even know they had."
Nickname:
"Tony. But only my supieriors are allowed to called me that."
Age:
"Eighteen. I turn nineteen in a month."
Gender:
"You must think this is a joke? Step out of line and I'll kill you where you stand!"
Rank:
"I'm a controller. God forbid I was one of those Enslaved scum."
Sexuality:
"Straight as a stick."
History:
"I won't be answer such personal questions."
When Anthony was young he watched his father reign over the enslaved, he would watch them get beat, tortured, and eventually killed. It used to phase him. He used to panic yell and scream. He couldn't bear seeing another person in so much pain. Of course his father saw this as a problem. If he were to ever take his fathers place, he had to be able to kill such lowly scum, let alone torture them, without any hesitation. His father began to desensitize him. Making him watch every enslaved that had step out of line be brutally murdered. His father would point out his weaknesses, make him feel inferior, like he couldn't do anything right. Anthony was so desperate just to make his father proud. Anything to stop the liquor induced beatings at night. Anthony was twelve when his father passed away, he had finally drank to much. Or at least that's what they believe. It has nothing to do with the pesticides the young boy had slipped into the many bottles his father would chug down a night. Anthony found another mentor whom he shadowed until he was of age to be a controller himself. Now he enjoys finding the physical and mental weaknesses of those enslaved in order to preform a deeper more psychological torture.
Personality:
Anthony comes of as incredibly cold and detached. Some speculate if he even has any emotions. He enjoys watching those enslaved be tortured, seeing their faces twist in pain, their body's writhe about in vain as they scream. As cold and harsh as he may be, he often acts as if he cares around the enslaved in order to gain a false appearance as someone they can trust. Someone they can open up to. Someone that wouldn't dare hurt them. Of course once they spill he couldn't care less about them, using the newly gained information in order to rip every last shred of hope away from them. And he enjoys every second of it. As cold as he may be, it's more then possible for someone to bring him back to reality. To help the small child that still can't bear to see someone hurt a fly, let alone a human being.

He can't help it, he find it fun to play around with people and mess with their heads, nothing serious of course. Just foolish flirting with every other girl in order to get them flustered. He however constantly finds himself stumbling over his two left feet instead of his words as he is a major klutz, which he tried his best to play off and seem smooth, rather then a walking disaster. Although he does flirt with practically anything walking, he doesn't easily grow attached to others, and often isn't aware himself that he is leading others on, but if he manages to grow close to someone he can be very overprotective and is easily provoked by those who threaten to grit those close to him.
HISTORY → Anthony surprisingly was a more quiet child, preferring to sit and observe the world rather then run around recklessly. He grew up in a small house with his mother and father. They managed to get by on what they had, and his parents would always support him no matter what he would try or do. He could always count on them for moral support. It was when Anthony was roughly eight when a bad storm tore through their neighborhood and left them powerless for three days. During this time, Anthony seemingly disappeared into the darkness, which his parents dismissed as normal. It was hard to see in the pitch dark anyway. Next was when he was somehow able to get from room to room amazingly fast, somehow surpassing his parents even when they swore he was behind them. Again they dismissed it. It was dark, they probably just couldn't see him. It got even weirder when they would play cards by the table lit by candles that would constantly blaze out of control when Anthony would win, or dim to barely a flame when he lost. They tried their best to forget about the odd things that happened during the power outage, but they knew they had to do something when school called saying their son had 'burst into flames' when fighting with another child over who would get to go on the swing set. His parents raced to the school only they didn't know why they had gone to the school. They never had a son. There was never any Anthony Marino in the school's records. He had never existed. A mysterious looking black car had came since the school had alerted the authorities of the strange flaming child, and snatched Anthony up, kicking and screaming the whole way until he was sedated.
FLAWS → Can recklessly throw himself into danger
Has a hard time controlling his powers when he feels strong emotions
He may refuse help when he needs it most
He can forget about others feelingsSTRENGTHS → He is incredibly passionite about the things he loves

OTHER → Thanks for being so patient!
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE → Anthony groaned as he rolled over onto his side, which only cause him to groan again. He had gotten pretty beaten up during a sparring match. Of course his coordination skills were terrible. And he put partial blame for his loss on the location of the fight. It was incredibly bright, rendering half of his abilities useless. Not to mention the room was pretty small. It didn't give him much space to stay away and launch his attacks from afar. That left him with his main skill, talking. He tried to smooth talk his way out of a beating, but looking back on it is probably only provoked the other fighter further. Either way, a broken nose and black eye later he landed himself in the infirmary. He was glad to see however that his attacker was in there as well with a few nasty burns. The cherry on top though was that he got the rest of the day off in terms of fights and managed to sweet talk his way into some extra pain killers. Unfortunately those were now wearing off.
"Damn!" he cursed under his breath as he struggled to pull himself up and out of bed grabbing his side where the attacker had landed quite the kick. Finally he found himself sitting upright of the edge of his bed. Running a hand through his dark messy hair he finally pushed himself up and off the mattress. Pulling on a white t-shirt and some jeans he headed to the small bathroom where he messed with his hair for a bit, trying his best to make it look decent. It was then he really studied the black ring around his eye. "Well that certainly could have gone better..." he reminded himself as he gently felt the purple flesh near his eye, flinching a bit when it sent a shock of pain down his face. Tony decided it would be better to not inflict further damage on himself and started his walk to the cafeteria. He had quite a long day and was starving by now. Walking down the hallways rather slowly he proceeded to the cafeteria where he picked up a tray of food and plopped himself down at a seat and began to dig in.

Anthony hummed as he strode down the long hallways of the enslaved, a sickening smile was on his face as he thought of what he should do to those unfortunate enough to be enslaved. His footsteps were loud and heavy as he passed by but something made him stop. A rough tapping noise. He paused as he listened, head tilted slightly. It was defiantly some code. Perhaps the prisoners would have to be reminded of the rules. But that could wait. They were going out to the yard now as he watched multiple guards pull those stil in cells out and towards the exit. He continued his walk down the hallway, humming as he went. Once he reached the control room he knocked twice, as he could see his commander through the glass. "Commander Quta, you need me to do anything?" he asked. He would've mentioned that the outsiders hadn't struck for some time, and it wouldn't be the best idea to send the enslaved out. God forbid those scoundrels had a breakout planned. It would not go well, but Tony knew better then to challenge the authority of his superior, so nothing was said. "Also Ma'am, I would like to request some form of group punishment while they're all out in the yard." he began. "Some of them were tapping some code. They know the rules." he continued "Perhaps tear gas?" he asked in a pleading way. He was already bored with today, and wanted to spice things up.
-
Anthony's smile grew into and even wider and sickening grin. "I always know you can come up with far better methods ma'am." he said, already excited to carry out his orders. "I will see it done. But could you keep that Kai kid waiting for me? I think I'll be needing a little more... Fun..." He said before once more walking off. Rummaging through the lockers filled to the brim with weapons of all sorts he grabbed a whip and a pistol. If he was correct, the yard should already be equipped to gas them when Commander Quta pressed the button. All he would need to do is carry out the whipping. Clutching the whip tightly he pocketed the gun before reaching the exit. Pushing open the door he quickly locked it behind him and looked at all those gathered in front of him. He stood out in his all white uniform. "All right listen up you scum!" he shouted, pulling out his gun and shooting a few bullets into the air to gain attention. "I'm highly dissapointed in you all. As some of you have been breaking the rules!" he continued. "Now you know what the rules say about communication. That also goes for any secret codes you hide with your tapping!" he shouted, pausing for a second to allow himself a smile. "Now! All of you line up and strip, or you'll get a taste of my bullets!" with this he shot of another bullet. He grinned as he watched the slaves scramble to get in a line and strip down. This, would be fun.
Alexandra sat near the edge of the woods, carefully looking out towards the yard filled to the brim of enslaved people. She could feel her heart ache for them. It was harsh under the control of the controllers. Something she often would try hard to forget. When she heard gun shots ring out she immediately ducked and ran back toward the direction of base. She wasn't sure if those shots were aimed at her, or just to scare. Either way, she would need to inform the others that the enslaved were outside as of now, if they were to ever carry out a rescue. She kept a steady pace as she darted through the dense forest. Her short brown hair bouncing along as she ran. Finally she allowed herself to slow down as she reached their base. "Hello?" she called out, hoping to get the attention of any Outsider that happened to be around. Jet would be preferable, seeing as they would need his approval to go out on a rescue, but she would also need other Outsiders and not just herself. Walking up the stairs and into the house Alex looked around the living room, once more hoping to find one of her fellow Outsiders.
OOC: trello Of course! Once he's done with those in the yard. I'm sure they'll have and interesting interaction. -
Anthony stalked up and down the rows, looking for his first victim. He stopped squarely in front of a girl crying to herself. She certainly wasn't the only one, but he could see the fresh blood pouring off of her. He grinned maniacally, a twisted sick joy showed in his dark brown eyes. Lashing out the whip he quickly brought it down on the girl, a loud cracking sound resonating from where he had hit. A few flecks of dark crimson blood stained his bright white uniform. He continued down the line. A random one this time, a young child. His sick smile grew even wider as he unleashed his whip once more. This time the screams of pain fueled him. Again and again he brought the whip down on the child. For some reason he couldn't stop. Something inside him told him to keep going. It wasn't until the child was lying on the ground unable to get up that Tony finally slowed himself down. Images of his father flashed through his mind. No he thought, gritting his teeth. His grip on the bloodied whip growing tighter. He wasn't like him. Not at all. He continued down the line faster now. Giving each one a lash or two at most. He had to get out of there. He sped out of the yard, once more locking the door behind him. He quickly strode down the hall, giving a quick nod to Quta before rushing into the bathroom. His breathing was fast and uneven as he quickly splashed water onto his face in order to gain back his composure. Get a hold of yourself he thought to himself before he began his walk to the torture rooms in search of this Kai he had heard about.
Alex jogged up the stairs to meet Jade and Louise, her dark brown hair now slicked back with sweat. "Morning Jade, Louise." she said, giving them both a polite nod. "Well I happened to be out this morning and it turns out the Controllers have the enslaved out in the yard already." she began, talking rather fast as she made vague hand gestures in the air. "Well I was thinking, it's been a mighty long time since we've gone out on a rescue... So..." she trailed off, still rambling. "I was thinking if you guys were up to it, we could go get Jet's approval real quick then go bust them out!" she finished, her bright hazel eyes darting between the two girls hopefully.
[li][/li]
[li][/li] -
Anthony continued his walk down the hallway of torture rooms, running a shaky hand through his black hair. He eventually slowed to a stop in front of a room guarded by a single peacekeeper. "You're dismissed." he said through gritted teeth as his inferior left his post. Digging through his pockets he grabbed a pack of cigarettes, pulling one out of the half-empty pack. He rested it between his trembling lips and quickly pulled out his lighter. Lighting the cigarette, he drew in a long breath before puffing the smoke into the air. He started to relax, letting out a sigh. He knew he would be in for it with Quta, but for now as long as no more slip ups followed he should be fine. Taking another puff of his cigarette he unlocked the door and stepped into the dark room, locking the door once more behind him. The embers from the cigarette let off a soft glow. "So you're this Kai I've heard so much about." Tony hummed. He had heard a few rumors about him. How he enjoyed the pain, and laughed when he should be screaming. Anthony leaned against the wall, letting his whip drop to the floor as he puffed out some more smoke, the whisps becoming lost in the darkness of the room. "So, why don't you entertain me?" he asked as he began examining his nails as if they were the most interesting things in the world. "Tell me about yourself, or I won't hesitate to bring someone else in here and beat them to a pulp." he said with a grin.
Alexandra's smile grew. "Well then! Looks likes everybody's in," she said excitedly. It had been forever since the last recuse, and the thrill of dodging bullets and rushing people to the safety of the forest never failed to get her adrenaline pumping. She felt as if it was yesterday she herself was being broken out of the yard, stumbling over her rags and ignoring the pain as they just ran and hoped. If you were caught, you'd be dead. But once you crossed into the forest you were practically free. "So I'm gonna guess none of you have seen Jet around." she said, snapping out of her memories. "and the controllers aren't gonna keep them out in the yard forever soo..." she said trailing off. Assuming the others had gotten the hint she started down the stairs, grabbing her old dark brown leather jacket for a little extra protection, even if it wouldn't stop a bullet, it made her feel safer. "Why don't we just go now?" she asked innocently as she waited by the door.
