"Hey..." Stormflash leaned down, giving a gentle lick to the she-cat's forehead. "There is a chance that nobody noticed. And if they did, we...I...I could join RiverClan!" He exclaimed. "I don't have anyone that I would miss in ShadowClan. Really. I could totally do it." He had actually been thinking of leaving the clan for quite a while now. He had always felt out of place there.

Heartkit shuddered, and pushed herself closer to Redleaf. Part of her was excited to become a warrior, but the rest of her was scared of the fighting and violence.
-
Birdpaw gathered all of her focus and pounced, grabbing the leaf mid-air and landing cleanly. She looked up at her mentor expectantly, sensing that she had finally gotten it right.

I just updated my application with personality and plot ideas! I really apologize if I came off as a bit snobby at the end of the plot ideas section...I couldn't figure out how else to word it. I really do understand why you want us to (at least partially) plan that out in the app, though. I would probably do the same thing if I were you, no matter how much I'm not a fan of it :P
I'll make a final decision on the name when we get genetics.
-
Heartkit secretly listened to the conversation, and became a bit panicked. Lost? Why would she get lost? She buried her face in her paws, trying to block out their scary words. She couldn't understand death yet.
-
"I don't wanna get lost," Heartkit murmured, her voice shaking a bit. "I just wanna stay here with you guys."
-
Birdpaw felt a burst of pride, puffing her chest out. "Thank you," she mewed, grinning.
-
Heartkit sniffled and pressed closer to both of them, finding comfort in their warmth. "Promise?"
-
Everyone's apps look good so far! This'll be a stiff competition.
I know I had said that I'd wait for genetics before deciding on a name, but I chose Harmony because it's such a beautiful word, and most people probably don't know what a polyphony is. So I decided on Harmony...but then the name Aria came into mind, and now I'm back at square one D: like harmony, it is a beautiful word, and I think that most people know what an aria is. Decisions, decisions...
-
Heartkit purred. "I promise to protect you, too," she mewed. She was uncertain as to whether or not she'd actually be able to keep this promise, considering that it would probably involve fighting, but her family was still the most important thing in her life.
-
"Yeah, I know," Arrowshot laughed. "I'm pretty cool." She allowed her real smile to come through for a moment, fully aware of it. She hadn't had an enjoyable conversation since...goodness, she couldn't even remember how long it had been. Probably since she was an apprentice. Suddenly, her eyes lit up as she remembered something that she'd been meaning to ask someone who was connected to ThunderClan for a while now. "Hey, do you know a cat named Blueflower? She's a ThunderClan warrior? We were friends as apprentices - the little rebels we were - but we've lost touch over the moons."
ooc; I'm assuming that, even with the gender change, Blueflower is still a girl? It's not exactly a guy's name, haha.
-
Stormflash frowned, feeling worried. "It's alright," he whispered, nuzzling her. "We're in this together."
-
"Oh? That's...good to know. It would be nice to see her again," Arrowshot mewed uncertainly, noticing Copperstreak's strange reaction. She almost seemed stricken with some sort of emotion - and out of nowhere, too - and she found herself feeling worried for some reason. Hey, um...are you okay? You look sort of...upset. If it's something I said, I'm sorry..." She trailed off, unsure of how she felt about the sudden shift in mood.

Adagio - Yeah, I was also leaning towards Aria, but I think I'll wait for genetics before finally making a decision. And no matter HOW many other names pop into my mind until then
oh my goodness Sonata or Serenade would be gorgeous namesI'll try to keep it between those two. When I was in middle school, I tried playing the flute, but I could never...um...get sound to come out of it. It still haunts me to this day. I switched to trumpet instead, and continued to play it for all three years, but I was never very good at it, haha. I love music, but apparently it's not meant for me, which is fine because I aim to be an anthropologist and do writing on the side, although I will admit that I am a pretty decent singer. If it weren't for my anxiety, I would probably try to pursue that, but alas. I could only handle about four vocal lessons before the whole "singing in front of other people" thing got to me, despite the fact that she was a very good vocal coach. Maybe I'll try again one day...I still have the very intimate details of "Who Will Love Me as I Am" from the musical Sideshow imprinted in my mind, haha.
-
Goodness, really? That's actually really funny xD I hope she never had to do any solos! That would have been catastrophic. Imagine the band playing at a concert, perfect sync, perfect notes, perfect key...and then all of a sudden, EEEEEEEKKKKKK! Sounds like my kind of concert.
-
Ouch, that must've sucked D: I gotta say though, violin is a very difficult instrument in my eyes. I can't even figure out how to correctly hold the bow. Kudos to you for making first chair.
-
"I know, I feel the same way," He mewed, entwining their tails together. "But the longer we wait, the more trouble we might get in."
-
Arrowshot's heart sank and she froze up, suddenly rooted to the ground. Oh. She couldn't believe it - Blueflower was dead? She hadn't even gotten a chance to say goodbye. But still, she thought, the pain of losing an old friend that one had lost contact with had to be nothing compared to the pain of losing a mate. She contemplated for a moment as to whether or not she should go and comfort Copperstreak, but reluctantly decided against it. She had caused enough pain, by bringing up old memories.
"I'm so sorry," She whispered, her eyes flashing with a mix of grief and sympathy. "She was so kind, and such a good warrior...you're right, she definitely didn't deserve it. The black she-cat ran a paw across the ground, a bit overwhelmed by the new information. What an awful way to die. "Is that...why you left?"

Can I change my app so that the kit is male?
-
Alright, I've changed the name and gender. I deleted that plot idea, because obviously it doesn't fit for a male. I'll add a new plot idea later; I don't have time right now.
I notice it! What's that all about? xD
