"fine don't tell" said Sageheart. Maybe I said it aloud she thought.

"ok I am going to sleep now" said Sageheart still scared.

Now we wait some more for other people to join.

Sageheart pretended to be asleep hoping none of the other cats would notice her so she could sneak out.

"you don't want help I take it?" asked Sageheart. "I could hunt for you?"

Ok thought Sageheart. Barktail is still awake so I will make a run for it. Sageheart struggled quickly to her feet and hopped as fast as she could out of the den and across camp to the exit. I will make it this time I know it she thought.

She hopped out of camp still going as fast as she could. Now she had to get away from camp and hunt. She tested her injured leg on the ground. It hurt like crazy but that didn't matter now. She ran on all four paws tring to ignore the pain. Her leg buckled out a couple of times but she kept going.

Sageheart scented mouse and dropped down into a crouch. She jumped and landed awkwardly on the mouse but when her injured leg hit the ground it gave out. Sageheart yowled in pain! She couldn't move her leg now!

"I know but I wanted to help the clan!" cried Sageheart.

"it just gave out! Now I can't move it!" cried Sageheart.
