i'm suggesting a button under avatars or somewhere useful to view inventory of other players

    1. people could put items on subaccounts to help others see what powers their character has
    also:
    2. it could make it easier for people reporting power/item abuses to double check if it's reportable or not

it would probably be helpful for staff too seeing as i remember it being something of a pain in the butt to view member inventory before (i mean not /impossible/ but still a pain)

That I think it would be up to the staff to decide, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't slam you for it. You seem pretty genuine, and I figure they take the stuff on a case-by-case basis. It's not like you're using it on 5 different characters or something lol

But yeah if you're worried I would wait for staff confirmation cause i am hardly the last word on such matters

I think it would be useful for some which is why i suggested it. As I said, seeing lots of people listing powers in such on the profiles, I thought it would be interesting to have a place people can go and easily see what that character has on their account, not to mention that some people do report for misuse or abuse or extra use of powers and I thought they might like being able to double check themselves before possibly reporting something wrong.

And yes as a former staffer i know that staff can check inventories, but I am also aware that is a bit of a pain in the butt which is why I suggested this. However, I just did realize in my last post there were a few variables that would make this difficult to properly implement.

When I was an admin this was mainly not done due to the work it put on the admin team.

There are only so many admins (even less now, heh nwn;; ) and taking off/putting on mods for a board takes a bit of clicking for each and every board. I think currently there are more then enough non-admins to help with the sticky/unsticky thread.

Although it's a good idea! I certainly understand why it was suggested. :3

i like this! perhaps there could be a daily limit for getting rewards, to avoid spamming. this is a really nice idea~!

one thing i'd also think would be interesting is some kind of incentive for the pound. that sounds really mean but what i mean is like.... well i know we don't want to limit people, but when i think of the poud i think of neopets and how every now and then you could find that one rare neopet because someone didn't have any more room for pets. what if the pet game had some kind of limit to how many of one specific kind of pet you could keep maybe? then people would be more likely to push pets into the shelter and make them available for others that might not have the money but still stalk the shelter.

then extra pet slots could be sold as well as a donation incentive nwn

sorry i can make my own thread haha just thought it linked well with your awesome idea

i honestly don't see how it would discourage people joining in the first place like, is having a limit on how many pets you can hoard really going to stop people from playing in the first place?

it's always been that way on neopets for example.

i'm not saying you could only have 3 or something, but maybe like 15 or 20, and then like i said the extra slots could be bought with money and that would help the game get even better through funding.

perhaps i'm thinking of this more from the perspective of a staffer, because i'm so used to talking about the pet game from that standpoint, but sometimes things have to be moved around/taken away/limited to help improve it for the future.

the limited silver now, for example, to help stabilize the economy.

and creating rare pets still wouldn't solve the problem that there's literally 0 pets at all, common or otherwise, in the shelter about 99% of the time.

Technically anti-gravity works on everything within eyesight of the character using it, but if you didn't want it to work on other things besides your character, you could say it didn't work on them.

However, whether your character lifted them up or got dragged down would be your decision to make within the roleplay.

    I'm having the same problem.

On the 11th, i got rewarded for 3 consecutive days:

Then on the 13th, i only got rewarded for 2 consecutive days:

if i'm getting rewarded on the 11th for 3 days, and then again on the 13th for 2 consecutive days, that would mean i was on the 12th, which would mean i should be getting rewarded for 5 consecutive days if i'm right.

something to note is that i have posted at least once on the 11th, 12th, and the 13th, so YES, i was on. :p

Setting: This is set in the city in Johto that Pikachu and Togepi visited in the Pichu and Pikachu short. Any generation of pokemon can be a part of it, but please no being super overpowered, at least in the beginning. Legendaries are fine, but once again, please no being overpowered. :) This is AU from the show/game, so no show/game characters.

Plot: At this moment there is no plot, this is just a fun little thing I wanted to do to get back into the swing of RPing pokemon. Romance is fine! Nothing graphic of course. Fighting is also fine. Feel free to jump in and start something up.

Rules: Be nice, no powerplaying, no godmodding, no minimodding, and please try not to flood others too badly.

The sky was open and clear, besies a small threat of rain in the large gray clouds way out on the horizon. Tanner didn't mind rain though, in fact he welcomed it. Felt stronger with it.

"Bluh, berries again..." he grumbled to himself, reaching out his blue flippers and attempting to get a grip on a small bunch of Topo berries that had fallen to the ground in the morning winds. Fall really was nice for this. Cool weather, and food literally rained down from the trees when the gusts got high enough. It didn't hurt that Tanner was a Piplup, so the thought of the oncoming winter didn't bother him as much as it might a grass or flying pokemon. Nope, he was more than happy thinking of the ice and snow that would (hopefully) be upon them very soon.

The only real bummer will be less food, he thought to himself, taking a hearty bite out of the pink fruit he'd managed to lift from the ground. Juice dribbled over his beak and down his fluffy chest.
