Jack stared at Diablo and thought about what he had just been told. He was just a husk of his former self. He had fought vampires only to become one himself. He could almost respect him but there was one point where his actions would have differed.
"I would fight for my freedom. I would fight for the right to choose my own fate. And if I die, I would die knowing I did everything I could do to stop her. And I would die free. As long as you are here, you are going against everything you once fought to stop."

"The way you live now, is not living. You are just existing. You may think this is better than dying but I disagree."
Jack stepped away from the table now, bow in hand.
"This time you will have us, help us kill her! Do not just stand to the side and let us die. Together, we can beat her!"
-
ooc: Yeah this plan isn't gonna work
Also, George, I have a question
By killing a vampire do you become a vampire?
OOC: This plan will work! And no, by killing Diablo it will make the female vampire want a new minion vampire so she would turn Jack or Christina into one.
-
ooc: Name one time this plan has worked
Hmm
Plausible
OOC: there's a first time for everything.

Jack's first arrows were aimed at the crow. They all missed their mark. He checked his fire as the female switched places with Diablo and frowned. He knew that the female wanted him to kill Diablo.
"Diablo" he called out abruptly "what was your human name?"
-
The bow was already up to full draw.
"Take one more step and there will be an arrow in all of you." He said with complete confidence to Diablo.
"Giles you do not have to do this." He called "You said that one friend accompanied you! What did she do to him and what did you do in response?"
-
Jack mentally rolled his eyes before answering Christina.
"What?" He asked as he shifted his gaze to the target closest to Christina.
-
Jack barely had time to register Christina's hand motion and did not have time to avoid the liquid. He cursed and released the arrow.
Fortunantly it missed Christina and only shot straight through the table before embedding itself harmlessly into the ground.
-
OOC: Hey, I do not think tossing something at Jack while he has an arrow at full draw was a good idea.
IC: Jack opened his eyes and was surprised to find the room to be as clear as day. He was not surprised to see that the vampires had advanced.
Taking aim, he shot two arrows at the two vampires approaching Christina before drawing his knives and going after the vampire behind her.

Jack had returned the beast's challenge with a few well placed arrows before running to the basement door.
He kicked it open and took stock of the situation. Diablo had gone on a killing spree and it took no more than a second for him to realize why. He had heard rumors of the blood moon, what it does to vampires and more importantly what he would have to do.
"I'm sorry." he whispered as his arrows struck those who were bitten in their heart. There would be no new vampires in that basement.
He stiffened as Diablo turned to face him, standing at the top of the stairs. There could be no room for error as the bow raised and the arrow went back to full draw.
"Stop Giles." He said calmly.

"If you must know, I am Jackson." replied Jackson. He thought he could hear more footsteps in the distance and he did not want any more company. He was staying here out of politeness but he was itching to shift and run off to a different place. He looked to Ferra.
"You don't happen to know of a slightly less busy place to talk?" he asked this in lowered tones so that the new arrivals could not hear him.
OOC: I might go inactive for the next two weeks. Keyword: might

OOC: AND I AM BACK!
ROTCLAW! I FINISHED THE "Rangers Apprentice" Series.
IC: Jack stood at the top of the stairs. He quickly reached into his quiver and withdrew fifteen arrows. He quickly began to work modifying them. He finished in a matter of seconds. He replaced all but one arrows back in his quiver. And not a moment too soon. The bodies of the vampires had begun to move. He took out his flint and steel and lit a torch set in the wall. He lit the arrow with the torch. Taking aim and shooting the vampire with the flaming arrow.
That should to do it. he thought to himself with a grim sense of satisfaction as the flames took hold
