Name: Hailskies
Looks: a very light silver, almost white, black pawpads, and little black specks on her rump. She has piercing, deep blue eyes. She is tall, lean,very graceful, and very mellow, but deadly when mad or offended. She has misty, almost creepy, fortune-teller sort of voice. She does not say much, but when she does, everyone listens.

Relatives:Dad was killed by a badger, abandoned by mother at birth. Her sister is Deersky.

Name: Deersky
Looks: She has a warm, brown pelt with dark brown and white spots on her rump (like her sister). She has one brown eye and one amber eye. She is loud, funny, and has to be the center of attention. She can't take things seriously and does not think much of other peoples feelings, and isn't afraid to tell things like they are.

Likes:sunny days, forests, flowers, playing, and fishing.

Snuffie slinked through the forest, her house growing smaller and smaller in the distance. The pitter-patter of rain on the leaves drowned out the sound of the two legs calling out her name. Drops of rain caught in her kinky pelt (laperm breed- look it up) and beaded up on her tag. She sneezed and shook out her pelt. "Ugh," she sighed, " No better than a dog. I'll have to find shelter soon, or it'll be a rough night for me."

Snuffie watched the two cats from a distance, trying to be quiet, for she knew the two cats would her her tag jingling a mile away. She sniffed in disgust, trying in vain to try and rip the collar off. She had loved her two legs, but Kitty had talked of a new life in the forest, no fences, trees, and plenty of fat squirrels,shoving their faces with nuts. The only problem, Kitty had said, was that there was no plastic dish of food put out every morning. So, the only natural thing to do, Kitty said with a gleam in her eye, was to join a clan. So, here she was.

A bush rustles, as something (Jay) runs by. Snuffie stiffens, and looks to her right. "What was that..." she me we'd to herself. "No, it was nothing. I have to keep looking for shelter." she says. She trudges on, the rain seeming to grow heavier with every step. After a while of walking, she comes apon a den, with about 3 other cats inside. She puts one paw forward and steps on a dead stick. It breaks, and she winces at the sound echoing through the cold air.

Snuffie growled to herself "Stupid!!" But she gulped and stepped out from behind the bush.
"H-hello." she stammered, suddenly very self-conscious of the collar around her neck.
"My name is Snuffie. Who are you."

After a few quick bites, Deersky had finished her squirrel.
"Don't eat so fast," said Hailskies softly," You'll get indegestion."
"Oh puh-leez" scoffed Deersky, rolling her eyes. "I'll be fine." Hailskies just shrugged, and Deersky trotted away. She passed by the elder's den and pocked her head in. " Hey Quietshade, Whispershade. What's up?" She trotted over and nestled down next to them.

Snuffie crouched down on the ground, watching the two cats. Her collar jingled as she did so, and she gasped a little, crouching lower and praying they didn't find her.

Snuffie sat down and sighed. " I used to be. My twolegs tried to give me away, so I decided that if they didn't need me I didn't need them, so I left." she chuckled a little "but I still can't figure out how to get this collar off."

Deersky nodded " Well, you have always been the nurturing type. But I am sorry, Whispershade. I hope you feel better." She stretched and yawned " Anyways, you'll never guess what I saw yesterday. I was padding around the meadow, hunting a mouse, when I heard lots of loud squeaking. I followed the sound until I came a bunch of rats, and I mean a BUNCH, and they were attacking a bunch of field mice, squeaking and chittering the whole time." She turned to face Quietshade. " Now what do you make of that?"

The hair on the back of Snuffie's back rose, and she hissed softly. "Great." she thought. She straightend up a bit and faced the two cats. "Hello," she meowed, ducking her head in greeting. "My name is Snuffie, and I wish to join your clan."

Snuffie stretched "Wow! I feel so free without a collar!" She turned to Blackcloud and nodded. She followed them into the forest

Snuffie looked up at this cat and gulped.

Deersky fluffed up a bit, indiginant. " It was weird, okay?! Jeez, I just thought somebody would know why!" She put her head on her paws and scowled.

Snuffie brightened up, he sounded very nice. "I'm Snuffie, and I want to join your clan."

Snuffie grinned and meowed happily "Yes!!So, what do I do first?"

Deersky humphed and looked at Whispershade. "Well, Whispershade, what do YOU think??"

Occ: uh yeah

"Okay!" she bounded off and heard jolt claw. She ran over "Joltclaw, what's wrong?"

Snuffie squinted and placed a paw on Joltclaw's belly. Her eyes widened. "I've seen these symptoms before." she turned to Blackcloud "Go and get Featherpool. Fast!!"

"Sure thing." she ran to Featherpool "Come quick! Joltclaw is giving birth!"
