Softkit saw Stingingpaw padding into camp and she walked up to him, "You had a good hunt, those mice look good." She meowed eyeing up the mice.

Softkit took her vole and started to eat away at it. "I agree Fishkit" she meowed

Softkit finished her vole and started to wash herself. "I wonder when Fallenflowers kits will come?" she meowed "It has to be soon."

"I've always loved little kits scampering around my legs, they are so sweet." She meowed

Softkit purred "I would love that, watching them grow up into strong warriors, or medicine cats." Softkit licked his ear a bit so no one would notice.

"Once we are warriors we can really do all these things, it will be a dream come true." She stared deep into Stingingpaws eyes.

"Because you are the one I dream about every night." She meowed then she realized the rest of the Clan had gone to their dens so she licked his cheek.

Softkit looked up at the sky and saw the hawk, she sent a prayer to StarClan that Stingingpaw was all right.

Leafpaw opened her eyes and stretched her jaws in a yawn, Firepaw and I deserve to be warriors she thought.

Softkit ran out of the den and to Stingingpaw "Are you all right? Are you hurt?" she asked.

Softkit turned away from Stingingpaw and went to Fishkit "Are you okay Fishkit?" She asked.

Softkit purred with amusement "Oh no! We had better take you to the medicine cat to see if you'll live!" She joked back.

Softkit purred with amusement "I'm glad your okay, do you know if Fallenflower is okay? She's so close to having her kits,"

Softkit looked less concerned "That's good, I don't want anything to happen to her or my little cousins." She meowed.

"I know I love kits too, I hope me and Sti..." She stoped herself before she finished what she was saying. "I hope to have kits one day" she said.

"I agree the nursery is small and stuffy, but having kits is worth it." She meowed.

"Well soon you'll be Fishpaw and one step closer to having kits." She meowed glancing at the apprentice den.
