Thornpelt was amazed at her speed. He knew a good way to catch her though. He ran to the nearest tree and climbed to the closest brach and jumped to the next tree branch and repeats the action several times till he is a head of HazleFlight just enough for him to jump down and run.

"Your welcome Rushspark. My name is Thornpelt." he meowed to the she cat.

As Sunnignrocks was getting closer and closer Thornpelt herd HazleFlight about 3 tail lengths away from him. "Youre pretty fast HazleFlight" he purred as he got even closer to sunningrocks.

"So what made you decide to join this clan? when there are so many others you could have joined" he ased

Thornpelt jumped on the nearest tree and jumped passed HazleFlight. "Not fast after what?" he purred as he approched sunningrocks.

"Well i thought that this clan would be a nice change from the other clans that are always fighting with one another

"i geuss i am. should we call the race a tie?" he purred as he grooed his fur.

"Im liking this clan so far though im not used to all the friendlyness" Thornpelt meowed quietly

"Yes true but i used the trees to help me win so it could count as cheating" he purred at HazleFlight's good sportsmanship.

"By the name id expect to be mobed by she cats flirting with me... Haha maybe thats just a fantasy of mine." he said but was laughing after he said that.

"You can say its mom that told me to be nice guy. Both my parents are gone now but they taught me alot while they were alive" Thornpelt meowed. He has not thought about his parents for a long time. His eyes became watery while thinking about them.

"Ha i was thinking the same thing" he purred

"Yes yes im fine. i was just remembered what my parents said to me before they died" he meowed sadly

"Well youre new to this clan so i wanted to let you know that youre welcomed by me" he meowed happily

"No no i want to stay here in the sun for a little longer" Thornpelt meowed

Thornpelt knew that he can not die any time soon. His parents knew that he would live on beyond their dead bodies. "I promise that i will become who i am destined to become." he moewed strongly but questly.
