Hazelwing watched as Phoenixfire killed the goat quickly and smiled. I could use cats like that for things.

Hazelwing was momentarily distracted as the stupid goat brayed again. "Shut up!" she muttered, and slashed at its muzzle. She kept on raking her claws down various spots of its body until it fell to the ground, its eyes baring a glazed look and its fur matted with blood. Then she dashed over to Phoenixfire. "Are you okay?" she meowed worriedly.

Hazelwing gently lowered her head and licked some of the blood off of Phoenixfire's forehead. "I'm Hazelwing." she said softly.

Hazelwing's eyes widened with horror as the goat rammed into Shadowfang. With a hiss of annoyance, she unsheathed her claws and leaped swiftly to the tom's aid, raking her claws down the goat's flank.

Hazelwing panted and turned to Phoenixstrike. "I'm Hazelwing of WindClan," she informed him, flicking her tail as she admired the handsome tom.

Hazelwing sat down and gently swept her tail over Phoenixfire's paw. "Should we get you something for that head injury?" she asked, her hazel eyes bearing a worried look.

Hazelwing hastily glanced around, searching for any more goats that would happen to be near. The cream tabby she-cat could see something in the distance... what was that? Oh, it was her apprentice, Dreampaw.

"Hazelwing, I need you back in camp, something-- what happened?" Dreampaw meowed, breaking off as she noticed Phoenixfire's head injury and Hazelwing's blood-stained fur.

Hazelwing glanced fondly at Phoenixfire. "We had a little run-in with some goats." Dreampaw was dumbfounded. "A little run-in? You're covered with blood!"

Hazelwing grinned, and purred slightly. "Are you sure we have to go, Dreampaw?" The small gray apprentice rolled her eyes. "Fine, I can spare you a bit of time. See you in WindClan camp!" After Dreampaw trotted away, Hazelwing turned to Phoenixfire and smiled, enjoying the feel of his tail around her.

Hazelwing's tail entwined around Phoenixfire's, and she forgot about the goats and their attacks for one peaceful moment.

Hazelwing caught Phoenixfire's gaze and meowed, "It doesn't matter what type of blood you have. What matters is your heart, pride, personality, and love." Hazelwing blushed slightly as she said this, but then glanced in the direction Shadowfang was pointing at. Her eyes widened as she saw the stampede of goats.

Hazelwing sighed as she broke apart from Phoenixfire. "Where shall we take cover?" she meowed hastily.

Hazelwing nodded, and signaled for Phoenixfire to come with her. "I wouldn't leave you behind for a year's supply of prey," she whispered lovingly.
