beware that im biased af because darkclan is my beloved home turf but ill try and be fair. even given its cons, i'd definitely recommend it to anyone curious !!

pros:
- diverse characters (there are both sweethearts and very mean characters)
- very welcoming both ic & ooc
- almost always some type of event / drama going on to keep things interesting

neutrals:
- slow-medium pace, bad or good depending on what you prefer
- 'possessed' leader plot, fun or not depending on your take of it

cons:
- not tons of character development
- sometimes there are periods where most of the open threads are just joiner/m&g threads, which can become a bit boring when that's all there is

I also almost compulsively preview my posts - whether they're roleplay or OOC, I have to preview it at least three or four times and read through it and edit it before I actually post it. Often times when I'm writing a long IC post I'll actually hit "preview" and reread and edit the whole thing every time I write a new sentence, so it often takes me around a half hour to write a single, decently-lengthed post which kind of sucks sometimes.

seconding this very intensely, it takes me forever to write anything because i reread it so many times, even after fixing just like 1 misspelled word I've gotta reread everything. i also have to reread after i've posted once or twice just to make sure.

i also reread the post i'm responding to several times to make sure i didn't accidentally not reply to a part of it. dittoing musey that i ctrl + f my character's name to make sure i didn't miss anything when it comes to battle threads and things similar.

also can't write a post with music on in the background, i have to pause it first--it's too distracting

Honestly natural disasters aren't my cup of tea either, but I'd participate in anything really. I love anything with allies--parties are quite fun. I love love love getting badges--I love being able to look back at them and have like the "this character participated in ___" or whatever on their profiles. Badges will tempt me into participating in just about anything.

kinda just tracking for now :^) i wish we had a more unique theme (at least in terms of rank names) honestly, like something darkclan could be know for? but, i've got no ideas for it. i guess i wouldn't mind keeping the military theme though if it is indeed instated more

What does "Lancelot style" mean? I assume we're talking about the way things were done during that leader's time, but to someone who wasn't active during that time, I don't know what that entails.

Perhaps you have a form of synesthesia? I know very little about it so I can't offer more to the discussion than the name, but I know the most common form is associating colors with words, letters, and or numbers so perhaps that's what you're experiencing in some way?
