[align=center]Tansypaw stood up. "Swiftpaw, I'm going herb-gathering. Want to come with me?"

" Nah, that stuff is bor-ing. I'll go find something else to do." The flame colored apprentice meowed as she heaved herself up. She trotted off and out of camp. Swiftpaw sniffed the air and followed the scent of a vole.

Tansypaw shrugged and went into the den that she and her mentor shared. She looked around the herbs to see which ones she needed. Hmmm... coltsfoot, juniper berries, and celidine. That should be enough for today.

Ooc~ About how many moons would you say have passes since when we first started RPing here?

Swiftpaw crept towards the vole. It was not expecting her, it was scavenging through the long grass for seeds. She took careful precision of where she placed her paws, careful for any slight noise that would scare her prey. Her whiskers quivered with excitement. This is the biggest vole I have seen! I wish Peltclaw were here so he could see this! Swiftpaw was practically on top of it by now. The vole hadn't yet noticed her shadow looming over it. She unsheathed her claws. The vole was still unaware of it's fatal mistake. Swiftpaw pounced onto it, snapping it's back. She quickly mumbled her thanks to Starclan and then hid her vole in some leaves by a sprouting plant of coltsfoot. Of course Swiftpaw didn't know it was an important plant so she scratched up the plant and the dirt around it over the vole.

    [align=center][font=times new roman]Character Name:
    Aspenfeather

    Character Age:
    20 moons

    Gender:
    She-cat

    Alliance:
    Mountainclan

    Rank:
    Warrior

    Appearance (6 or more sentences):
Aspenfeather is a thin, light she-cat. She is a light dusty-brown cat who has black stripes on her legs and near her tail tip. Aspenfeather's eyes are rounded and amber, with a slight hint of gold. She has short but soft fur that is wispy, much like that of a young bird's feather. Her legs are tall and thin, great for running and jumping. Her face is slightly rounded and her ears are much like a wild cat's, rounded but set high on the head.

Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):
Aspenfeather is quite secretive, often keeping to herself. She does enjoy some company, even when it seems not. Sometimes, she can get competitive over the smallest things like if someone caught more prey than her, or if someone did something a tad better. She is very nice, though, always helping others when they don't even ask. Aspenfeather also can be quite mean too, but no one ever knows because she never says rude things aloud. Overall, you could say she is the average warrior.

    History (8 or more sentences):
As a kit, Aspenfeather always sat quietly and watched things happen. Her mother thought she was a mute, so the whole clan avoided her. The reason why she barely spoke was because she felt her father didn't care for her. Her father was always being called to go on patrols and always ate with his friends instead of his family. When she was an apprentice, she vowed that she would never be like her father, and she would spend as much time as she could with her family as her training would allow. She brought her mother a squirrel every day and sat by her side telling her mother how the day went. When she got her warrior name, she went to her father and asked him why he never was with his family. His reply was that he never asked for kits and he didn't was anything to do with them. Aspenfeather has hated her father ever since.

Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio):
Aspen feather padded through the forest. She loves the way the cool, crisp leaf-bare wind felt as it blew through her fur. The grass tickled her pads as she walked. The light brown she-cat looked up at the sky. It was beautiful how the fluffy white clouds carelessly floated through the blue sky. I wish every day could be like this. Aspenfeather suddey frowned. If leaf-bare doesn't pass quickly, the whole clan will starve! Luckily, new-leaf was almost here. Aspenfeather layed down in the grass and rolled over to her back. She closed her eyes and started to purr.

    Comments (optional):

Tansypaw passes through the forest and tried to scent out the three herbs she needed. Coltsfoot, juniper berries, and celidine, coltsfoot, juniper berries, and celidine. She picked up the scent of coltsfoot and sprang towards it. She now remembered the place where she and Snowberry had been growing a new shoot. She sniffed around but her nose only lead her to a pile of dirt and leaves. Then, she saw it. Submerged in a mound of dirt, was a newly sprouted plant of coltsfoot. The small golden apprentice dug her claws into the soil. What kind of cat would do this?! She scavenged through the dirt to find a good sized vole. It had Swiftpaw's scent all over it.

Aspenfeather yawned and pushed her way through sleeping cats and out of the warrior's den. Sleep still blurred her vision so she headed towards the fresh-kill pile. The dusty brown she-cat looked over the prey and selected a plump mouse. As she tore through it's flesh, she remembered that yesterday she had scented a fox by the border. It was a very stale scent, but she decided she would check it out after she was done with her prey. Aspenfeather chewed the tender meat and swallowed. She made a face. Mouse was Aspenfeather's favorite prey, but this particular one had a weird taste. She buried the rest and stood up to go see Pinefrost.

    Sorry I haven't been on!

Aspenfeather poked her head inside the medicine cat's den. "Pinefrost?" she meowed. She jumped as she saw Pinefrost, as she hadn't been expecting him to be so close to her. She looked around, eyes wide and trying to adjust to the slight darkness. She flicked her tail and stepped further into the den. Aspenfeather knew that she must be a bit weird, because she somewhat liked the smell of all the herbs. She like to associate the smell with cleanliness and health.

    Ooc: Its fine. =^^=

Aspenfeather bowed her head, as she always did to a cat in higher ranking than herself. As she lifted her head back up, the she-cat opened her mouth to speak. "No, I haven't. I was going to check the borders because yesterday I scented a stale fox-scent and I-" she stopped, noticing that she was rambling on about stuff. The dusty brow cat straighted up. "Well, anyways, I ate a mouse earlier and it had a funny taste to it. I think it was rotted or something."

And all shall be witness to that which will be, In the mind of the Man Varg, then who shall be free? And only a family both loving and true, May conquer the evil, so ancient, so new. As they fight to uncover what secrets they share, And see in their journey how painful is care. Beware the Betrayer, whose meaning is strife, For their faith shall be tried by the makers of life, And who shall divine, in the dead of the night, The lies from the truth, the darkness from light? Ooc: Recap please?

Swiftpaw hadn't found anything else to hunt, so she went back to her vole, only to find Tansypaw looking as if she were about to explode. "What's a matter, Tans?"

"This!" She meowed through gritted teeth as she pointed her paw to the dirt.

"What? That's where my vole is buried."

" I know that. What you don't know is what huge mistake you made buy burying your prey here!"

Ooc: Sorry I wasn't on earlier, my phone died then my mom was hogging up the charger and then I had to go to bed.
Anyways, I guess I skipped that. Forget my other post. My mind does it all the time, like I'll be reading and then I'm at the end of the page and I'm like 'when did that happen?' So I have to read the page all over.
Sorry, I was getting distracted. Back to IC!

Aspenfeather nodded. She walked partly out of the den and looked over her shoulder. "Ok, I will." She turned back around and walked out of camp. Now where did I scent th- Oh! I remember now! It was by the uh.. small bush at the end of territory. Aspenfeather raced towards the border. Once she got there, she sniffed around. She could still smell the fox, but she could tell that it was very old. The fox hadn't been there in about a half-moon!

Ooc: JayBirdy, have you read Yellowfang's secret?

Aspenfeather twitched her tail before bounding off. Pinefrost should have checked out the fresh-kill pile by now. If I'm guessing correctly, they should have put out the prey that was there. I should catch more. Her paws slushed through the leaf-bare snow as she searched for prey. Why did this have to happen now? I wish it hadn't happened at all, but it would have been easier to take care of in green-leaf. Aspenfeather flicked her ear as she heard a cracking noise. She looked above her to find that a splotch of red stood out in the blue sky, along with some brown branches. The dusty brown warrior licked her whiskers as the vibrant red cardinal fluttered down from its tree top perch. She crept towards it on light paws, trying to avoid her paws to crunch on the snow. The cardinal hopped around the ground, searching for its own prey. Aspenfeather accidentally hit a twig with her tail. As the bird started to make its way into the trees, Aspenfeather leaped up and caught it, spreading red feathers onto the pure white snow.

Ooc: I haven't finished it yet, but I got to the part where the med cat told her about her pains... basically just turned a warrior.
Anyways, your power reminds me of that book.

Aspenfeather picked up the cardinal and carried it to camp. She laid it in the newly cleaned out fresh-kill pile. She walked over to a tree by the warriors den( I hope its ok if I add this to the scenery) and laid in its shade. She was over all bored, and she thought about having an apprentice. Nah, I don't think I'm ready. Maybe I can mentor someone's kit, If we even get any queens. Aspenfeather's stomach started to twist. She tried to get JP to go to Pinefrost, but she felt to weak. She felt to weak to even mutter a word.
