The Orre region was once a peaceful place to live. Pokemon and people got along well with each other, and life was good.
That all ended when Cipher appeared.
Cipher was an evil organization that corrupted the hearts of Pokemon to make them into remorseless fighting machines. These Pokemon became known as Shadow Pokemon due to the eerie aura that shrouded them.
The Shadow Pokemon were vicious, hostile and very aggressive. They would attack everything, be it a human or a Pokemon, in sight, not stopping until they were either defeated or their victim stopped moving, the latter being the more common outcome.
Soon, a boy named Seth, along with the help of a girl named Rui, stopped the Cipher organization. Everything was as it was before, and soon, the whole Shadow Pokemon incident was forgotten.
But Cipher has started up again, and they're back to creating Shadow Pokemon. This time, however, they've perfected a technique that will keep the Shadow Pokemon in its impure state, unable to be purified as Seth and Rui had done to all the Shadow Pokemon before.
This time, Seth and Rui aren't here to fight Cipher again. The task is up to this generation of Orre's Pokemon Trainers.
The task, should you choose to accept it, is to either fight against Cipher and save the Pokemon, or work with Cipher and aid in the Orre region's demise.

》 I'm only going to say this once. All Pokemon must be from either the Kanto, Johto or Hoenn regions. This means no Pokemon from Sinnoh, Unova or Kalos. If you're unsure about a Pokemon's regions, look it up or PM me.
》 While I'm thinking about it, be creative with your Pokemon team. Teams of just Eeveelutions aren't allowed. I love those fluffy fuckers as much as the next person, but seriously. No teams of just Eevee and his evolutionary family. No.
》 No Legendary Pokemon. Don't ask for one, because you won't get one.
》 Please don't use one-liners. It's very hard to find a way to respond to "He nodded" or "She smiled". Seriously. Don't do it.
》 Romance is not the plot of this roleplay. Yes, you can have your characters crush on one another and be together or whatever, but don't make it the focus of the roleplay. While we're on the topic of romance, I accept and encourage gay and lesbian couples. ^_^
》 Make both a male and a female character, and roleplay both of them. I can't stand playing with like two guys and like a million girls. No.
》 Cursing is allowed, as well as heavy violence. But don't you even dare try any sex scenes here. This is not a porn site, guys. Skip that shit or take it to PM. Just don't do it here.
》 No OOC fights. I'll boot your ass out faster than you can blink.
》 Quick note on personalities. If you describe your character as "psycho", "insane" or "crazy", you will automatically be denied. Also, use personality traits correctly. You can't have a shy character that likes to run around screaming, or a kind, sweet character that will punch you for talking shit about them. Also, "can be mean but nice when you get to know her" won't be accepted either.
》 I'll accept only three characters with the ability to see Shadow Pokemon. Once the spots are filled, that's it.
》 Your character cannot talk Pokemon, and your Pokemon can't speak English.
》 This isn't a rule, but please try and give nicknames to your Pokemon. It's easier for me to keep up with them. Also, be creative with them. Don't be the guy with Jolt the Jolteon or Sparky the Pikachu.

》 Looks: Rhenarra Roxanne Foxx. A girl with an appearance as uncommon as her name. Her hair is soft and straight, dark brown in color. It isn't too long; it goes down to about the middle of her back, and thick bangs cover her left eye. Her height is about 5'4". She has beautiful skin, unmarked by acne of any kind and nicely tanned. She does, however, have several scars on her arms and legs, the result of dashing through forests as a kid. She has a slender body with nice feminine curves.
