"Hm." She couldn't think of anything to say.

Zephyrkit dashed off to the camp and waited for the others.
Breezekit followed close behind his mother.
Dapplefur hesitated, but turned and went back to camp. It wouldn't help anything if he got hurt with no one there to back him up.
Stirred from a nap by Zephyrkit's feet, Mistystar looked around but then dismissed the sound as kits playing. -
"I understand. I left my clan behind when I was a new warrior. I have come to regret the descision since then."
-
"Shadowclan. I just don't like the way Shadowclan is always steriotyped as evil. That's why I left, I just couldn't handle it anymore. I know now that I could have changed things, made the other clans see straight, but I didn't then." She sighed, "Now I can't go back, though I miss my family dearly."
-
"Yeah. I'll smell the way there."
Dapplefur ran up to her.
Mistystar walked out of her den. She had heard pattering footsteps again but noticed the lack of excited mewling and the stench of fear in it's place. -
"I've grown used to it, so my pain has dulled to a soft ache. Time will heal all wounds, though not nearly as effectively as someone would hope. Wait, You may always bear scars, but fresh, stinging wounds will not last forever."
-
"I don't think it's going to reach the camp." Breezekit told mistystar after a short conversation.
"We still need to drive it out of the territory. All of you, stay in camp!" and she bounded off through the forest to where Snowstream and Dapplefur were.
"I'll go with you." He told Snowstream. "It's better to wait for Mistystar, but I don't want to wait." He started off in the direction of the beast, when Mistystar caught up with him. She nodded to them in silent communication that she had heard the story, her chest heaving, and she and Dapplefur were gone through the forest running side by side. -
Rippleheart looked concerned, "Are you hurt? Physically?"
-
As they neared whatever was blundering through the forest Mistystar figured out what it was. "Badger. A young one, probably looking for a place to nest, having left it's mother."
-
"I can't be sure, we need to call a medicine cat, but I believe you are with kits." Rippleheart was excited to have young kits coming to the clan, but didn't show it, except in her eyes, which twinkled happily.

"No, Breezekit said it wasn't heading for the camp, but we still can't allow it in our territory."
-
"Congratulations." She said softly, smiling.
-
"Let's keep going." They were getting close now and the scent was overpowering.
-
"You should tell Shadowstar." She said with her smile widening too.
-
She silently padded out of the den, sat in a shadowy corner of camp, and waited.
-
(He doesn't seem to be on a lot)
She continued waiting in her shadowed corner.
-
She went to get some rest as well.
