Pebblepaw let out a playful hiss as he nosed his way into the forest. "Where are you windclan?" He yowled with a playfull tint in his voice. Pebblepaw looked up and spotted Patchpaw. "I'm going to get you, you know." He let out a growl and began climbing the tree.

Rainpaw padded into the forest to find pebblepaw searching for someone. "Pebble-!" She was just about to call out his name when she spotted Patchpaw up in the tree. She let out a hiss and glared at Patchpaw. "You're not going to steal him from me." She mewed darkly.

Dawnsky padded into the clearing. He had scented other cats around this area. "What..?" He gasped in surprise as he watched the cats in the cages.

"oof." pebblepaw cried out as he slipped. "since when did riverclan taught cats to climb?" He purred as he made his way up into the tree.

Rainpaw hissed vigoursly as she kept on watching the two apprentices. She burst out of the clearing and held her head high. "I don't think Feathertail will be happy seeing you climb trees instead of swimming." Rainpaw mewed to Patchpaw with a hint of challenge in her voice.

Dawnsky held his breath, waiting to pounce on one of the cats. They defintly weren't clan cats and he had to report to his clan leader. "You..what are you guys doing?" He said loud enough so the cats could hear him.

"Well, i don't know if your mentor will be happy." Rainpaw hissed. She lashed her tail and nudged pebblepaw. "come on pebblepaw, we should just leave her there. She can play with the squirrels if she would like." Rainpaw snickered as she kept on nudging Pebblepaw.

Pebblepaw slipped down from the tree as she watched Rainpaw as if her couldn't believe her. "I'm fine." He snapped at her as he lifted his head towards Patchpaw. "I was actually having fun..you know." He let out a purr.

"You guys are nothing but loners!" He hissed as he raked shadow's flank with his claws. Dawnsky lashed his tail as he glared at shadow. "Get out of the forest." He hissed, flattening his ears. "You and your lot, get out."

Pebblepaw purred at Patchpaw. "You can teach me if you'd like." He mrrowed a little laugh. Pebblepaw flicked his ears as a butterfly passed by. "Hey look!" He said as he batted at it. "When I was a kit, i used to chase butterflies all the time."

Rainpaw glared at Patchpaw as she drew her lips back. "No need, I don't intend on becoming squirrels." She stared back at Pabblepaw with dreamy eyes. "I used to chase them too!" She put onaa fake purr and padded towards Pebblepaw. "We can still chase them." She purred as she turned back to see if Patchpaw was watching.

"Hmph you'll be chased out of the forest before you know it." Dawnsky snapped. He lashed out at shadow and hissed.

Mosstail burst out into the clearing, her eyes wide in shock. "No Dawnsky!" she yelled out as she ran towards him. "Get back." She narrowed her gaze and stepped backwords from Shadow.

Pebblepaw's gaze sparkled towards Patchpaw. "Let's go fishing." He mewed playfully at her. "We can see who'll be a better warrior." Pebblepaw challenged. "If I win.....you have to grant me a wish." Pebblepaw stared into Patchpaw's eyes.

Rainpaw watched as the two apprentices began to chat. "I'll....I'll go fishing with you!" She burst out. "If I win, I want Pebblepaw to.." She paused and flicked her gaze towards Patchpaw. "What will you wish for hmm?" She gazed at Patchpaw with mockery in her eyes.

Dawnsky gasped in pain as he felt sharp pain gliding across his body. "You won't get me this easily!" He spat as he jumped on Shadow. He pummled at Shadow's hindleg and bit into his tail as he flicked his gaze towards mosstail.

Moss tail stood, her eyes widened by the toms' battle. Her body froze and she backed slowly away from the two fighting cats.

"I'll be there faster!" Pebblepaw yowled as he chased after Patchpaw. Inside his mind his ears rang with Patchpaw's voice That is a secret. He wondered what it meant, but he let out a purr by the thought of his own wish. He wanted to go out with Patchpaw.

Rainpaw narrowed her gaze as she ran. She caught up to Patchpaw and hissed. "Stop your flirting with him." She hissed. "Don't you get it? He likes me, not you." She muttered as her gaze flipped to Pebblepaw.

Dawnsky let go of Shadow, his head held high in triumph. "Alright leave then." He hissed challenging Shadow. "Mosstail! I won!" He mewed happily, letting himself wide open from attacks. He relaxed his muscles, sheathed his claws and dropped his tail. "I won." he breathed.

Mosstail stared down at her paws as she felt ashamed. "I..I'm sorry." She apologized. "My brother..he's a wreck.. " She muttured. Her beautiful appearance looked nothing like Dawnsky's wild, wrecking looks.

"I can!" Rainpaw yelled loud enough for Patchpaw to hear. "I'll show you what squrriels can't do." She grinned and jumped into the river.

Pebblepaw reached the river, halting as he saw Rainpaw dissapear beneath the currents. "Finally.." He sighed. The sun shone down at his handsome looks, exposing his powerful muscles beneath his shoulders. "Patchpaw.." He purred. "What did you mean by that it was a secret?" He purred on as he stared at her.

"Fox dung!" Dawnsky yelped as he fell down. He yowled in pain as Shadow's claws sank down at his shoulders. He pummled helplessly in the air as he tried to reach Shadow. "Let go!" He shrieked.

Pebblepaw blushed as he helplessly fell depper in for Patchpaw. "I'll make sure you find out about my secret." He mewed.

Rainpaw shot out from the river, with only a frog dangling from her jaws. "There weren't any fish." She lied, her pelt hot from embarrassment. "You'll see what I mean." She snapped, trying to hide her lies.

Dawnsky helplessly slashed in the mid-air as blood bubbled out from his throat. "Le...let..g..o" He let out a faint voice as he managed to claw at Shadow's paws. Soon, his body went limp, and his head rolled off to the side. Blood continued on to bubble out from his throat, his gaze still fixed on Shadow.

"Pretty good." Pebblepaw looked at Patchpaw and mewed."Now it's my turn." He flexed his muscles and calmly settles down at the riverbank. His eyes glinted as he suddenly jumped into the river. Pebblepaw came out from the surface, his eyes round with pride. He carried a salmon almost as big as himself. "Guess who won?" He purred as he dropped his salmon in front of Patchpaw.

Rainpaw's face grew red from jealousy. "Frogs taste better, you know." She snapped at Patchpaw. "Better then your catch.." She managed to slip out a mutter.

Mosstail bushed her tail out and hissed, still looking at her brother's dead body. She stumbled on her paws as she tried escaping. "Help Dawnsky!" she muttered as she got herself up. She broke into a run and dissapeared behind a bush.

"My wish is.." Pebblepaw paused in between. "My wish...is for Patchpaw to go out with me." He said as he stared at Patchpaw back. "Will you?" He breathed.

Rainpaw hissed and spat as he heard Pebblepaw's confession. "You can't!!" She hissed. "If you want her, she'll have to fight me!! and if she loses you'll have to go out with ME." Rainpaw stopped, shocked by what herself had said.

"Oh...dawnsky..please tell me that you're alive." Mosstail mourned softly. "I'll revenge your death." She got up from the bush and ran to tell her clanmates.
