Boulder stood still, a bit awkwardly. He wasn't really sure what to do-- should he just stay, or leave, or bring her back to camp, or make her leave, like he had originally intended? Well, the last would probably be pretty rude, even if it was supposed to be his duty... He shifted a bit uncomfortably, going over his choices in his head mentally.

QuoteHe felt as if he could make a second attempt at taking over a high position.
hahahahahaha no. Storm and Escaflowne would not be happy about that :P)
Luna put her head down. She was still a little tired, as she hadn't really gotten enough rest previously. And it's not like I'm supposed to be doing anything right now... Her breathing slowed as she drifted into sleep.
Storm looked down at Luna affectionately, then set his gaze back on the camp. Today was a strange day. He kept waiting for something to happen, but it never did. There was a sort of tension in the camp that he wanted to get away from, but as the leader, he couldn't just walk away or go hunting. So he continued to sit, waiting.
-
Shimmer attempted to copy Escaflowne's pose, but was quite unbalanced and fell over. "Hm, that's pretty tricky. You've got good balance!" She resumed her original stance, only slightly elevated by her back legs. Most wouldn't think it was possible, but her smile brightened even more as the sun eventually climbed up high enough for the day to really begin.
-
Yay!
You're accepted~! I'll add you to the Ranks now ^^ You're welcome to go on the role-play thread, if you'd like :) -
Storm nodded to Escaflowne. "Ah, yes. That would make sense. Well then, I guess we won't let him have any, hm?" Storm looked pointedly at Schnyder and smiled. When he found a raging fire, he preferred to just meet it with calm water instead of more fire. After all, this pack was based off of the policy that all wolves should be treated equally. He wouldn't punish anyone unless they had really and truly done something bad.
-
Not really anything had happened :P Shimmer and Escaflowne are watching the sunrise, as the day just started.
-
Shimmer tilted her head sideways in a confused expression. "Why'd you have to learn how to do that?" She was also confused by the disappearance of a smile, but she wasn't going to say it. Some questions weren't to be asked.
-
"Us, watching you?" Storm let out a small chuckle. "It seems to be the other way around. You're the one always observing the rest of the pack and only talking to make rude, unnecessary comments, yes?" He stared back Schnyder, eyes narrowed only slightly.
-
Shimmer stifled a chuckle, knowing it probably wasn't a good idea. Then she pricked her ears as Kaala arrived, and grinned back. She was almost relieved another wolf had come out, for Escaflowne wasn't really the best conversationalist.
(No offense, Escaflowne :P)
"Goodmorning, Kaala!" Shimmer wagged her tail in a friendly manner. "You're lucky you came out now, or you would've missed the last of the sunrise!" -
Don't worry, that was completely necessary :P
xD -
(
Ooooooo, cat-fight!:P)Storm stayed silent. He got up and looked into Schnyder's eyes. Only one thing was clear; Schnyder was not going to just back away from anything. The younger wolf seemed to be challenging Storm, but to what, he wasn' t sure. Whatever was happening inside his brain, Storm needed to at least try to be ready for it. So he stood his ground, accepting whatever challenge was coming.
(... Luna is sleeping through all of this xD)
-
Shimmer nodded along to whatever the other wolves said, not really fully listening at the moment. Instead, her senses were focused on the birds. The soft, happy melody fit the scenery of sunrise wonderfully.
-
xD Yup, Schnyder deserves that dark closet.

Thank you for giving me credit for the forum thing ^^

To change the slightly awkward adult and trainee relationship, I think I'll edit Oak's age and rank, if that's okay.
-
Accepted, thank you for joining~!
There are Scout and Elite Hunter positions open. Which one would you like? :) -
I edited Oak's form. He's now 3 years, and I'd like him to be an Elite Hunter, if that's okay with you Wafflepaw :)
-
Oak walked through the woods. He lifted his nose to the air and scented a group of other wolves nearby. Two faes, two brutes. He swished his tail a bit nervously, then continued onward, heading towards them.
Cloud followed Oak slowly. Her eyes were narrowed, and the fur on the pack of her neck prickled. She wasn't as ready to meet any other wolves, but it was the reason they came here, so she had to go along.
-
Cloud growled as Oak began to follow a fae scent, heading toward a nearby lake. Oak turned around and looked at her, confusion showing in his expression. She let out a small irritated sigh, then barked "Go ahead. I'm hungry, so I'll be hunting." Before he could reply, she ran away through the woods.
Oak stood still momentarily, then shrugged to himself and kept going towards the lake.
