Driftwood stretched and lifted her head, licking her pelt. She jumped slightly at the sound and leaped to her feet. "I'm here," she hissed softly, her golden eyes glowing.

Driftwood's eyes narrowed slightly, but she didn't bristle as much as before. "I'm settling here for a bit." Her left leg twitched, and the wound on her back leg glistened with a sickening redness. "The mice here are easy to catch, and I need to rest up."
-
Driftwood stiffened, but she got to her feet, flicking her white-tipped tail in distaste. "Foxes are nasty little demons," she commented dryly. "Anyway, I don't own the place. Take whatever mice you wan- AH!" Her leg gave away under her and she fell onto her side.

Driftwood, a loner, was floating down the river on... well... her namesake. No memory, no nothing. Just her, herself, and she. And she was in pain.

OOC: Can I join? :3
-
Driftwood padded through the beacons. She'd managed to stay hidden for this long... She really didn't want to be here, but there was nowhere else to turn except for-
Oh, what was this? She leaned over the balcony and examined the pregnant she-cat. Wow. Newcomer. -
Driftwood looked around for those wolves before dropping down and sneaking up behind the pregnant she-cat. Well well well... She was a pretty one. "What are you doing here?" she asked, leaping lightly over the cat's body and landing in front of her to face her.
-
Driftwood zoomed to cut the she-cat off. "Hey, hey. Calm down, pretty one. I'm just curious, okay?" she purred comfortingly.
-
Driftwood flicked her white-tipped tail and tilted her head. "So what's a delicate little thing like you doing in a place like this?" she asked.
-
Driftwood flinched with the story. "Wow... That's rough," she commented, sitting down. "So, of all the places to go, why this wolf-run place?"
-
OOC: Cat
Driftwood nodded, ruminating for a little. "You staying?" she asked.
-
Driftwood sat and wrapped her tail around her paws. "Hm... well, if you're staying, I can get you something to eat right now."
-
Driftwood was off in a flash, killing a wood-mouse and rushing back. She dropped it at the pregnant she-cat's feet. "What's you name, by the way?"
-
Driftwood was in too much pain to hiss. "My leg... is broken," she growled. "I need you... to set the bone... for me..." Her voice cracked in pain.
-
"Hawk what?" driftwood asked. "All clan cats have two names, pretty."
-
Driftwood chuckled. "Whatever you prefer, Hawk," she said, padding closer and nudging her stomach. "How many moons?"
-
"How many kits?" Driftwood asked softly, standing up slowly.
-
"Nope, just met," Driftwood said to the younger cat, but she stiffened at the sight of the wolf. "What are you doing here?" she hissed, bristling defensively.
-
"Hey, Hawk already cleared things with that guy over there," Driftwood snarled, tipping her head towards the wolf. "I'm not leaving here, unless you drag out my carcass. I've got business to take care of."

OOC: Bye ;3;
