She sensed commotion, though, and it took a minute or two before she was able to locate the source of the issue. It took a lot out of her, too. Her powers always did, but this time it was worse. But she got up and began to run towards the scene, not hesitating for another moment as she dashed out of the camp, no explanation behind this sudden, most likely unexpected, action.
She's okay, she's gotta be okay. Stella thought to herself, still running and running towards the area. Curse this shitty new territory! Okay, it wasn't bad but she didn't know her way around too well, and it was hindering her ability to get to Sigma.
It was five minutes before she got there, but five minutes too long.
She was too late.
Sure, she couldn't have done anything to really prevent it, her knowledge on herbs was absolute shit and practically nonexistent, but she just wished she could've done something to prevent Sigma's death. This wasn't fair and she knew it, and even though she kept on telling herself that life's not fair, you have to move on she couldn't tear her eyes from the body or the guilt from her heart.
But yet, despite everything, she refused to cry.
"Sigma..." Was all the bicolored feline wound up saying in the end, her horror clear as the color of her fur.
