"it's really nothing..." he insisted, glancing up at gamzee.

"you have faygo on your face," karkat said, reaching over to wipe the red from gamzee's face.

Karkat sighed. "there. Night, gamzee..." he snuggled up to his friend.

Later, probably after midnight, karkat began to twitch in his sleep. He whimpered softly.

Karkat clung to gamzee, unconscious of his actions. He was having one of those dreams where you wake up in tears without knowing why.

He snapped awake, unaware at first where he was. "w-wha..."

"g-gamzee?" he mumbled, blinking in confusion. He'd forgotten what he'd been dreaming about, but he thought it probably had something to do with the movie they'd watched.

He wrapped his arms around gamzee, thankful that he was there. "s-sorry... For waking you up..."

He nodded, yawning. "okay... Don't go anywhere..." he mumbled, half asleep already.

"I like making you blush," he said, smiling innocently.

Sollux growled. He nipped at karkat's neck. "two can play at thith game."

He gave a small smile, slowly drifting back to sleep. "...good..."

"owww!" sollux growled. He tilted karkat's head up and kissed him, hoping to distract him.

Karkat slept soundly for the rest of the night. He stirred slightly as light streamed in from the window the next morning. "hmm?" he blinked open his eyes, blushing a bit as he realized how close he was to gamzee.

Sollux ran his hand through karkat's hair.

Karkat hesitated briefly, then kissed gamzee's cheek before trying to get up without waking him.

Sollux smiled, glad he'd managed to divert karkat's attention.

He smiled, chuckling softly. He wondered if gamzee was dreaming about him.

"...thomething wrong, KK?"

Karkat gave him a hug, then went to find him another blanket.
