The young tom's fur sheathed and unsheathed his claws, clearly uncomfortable with a dog right in his leader's den. It could attack his leader at any moment. Riley's story sounded well, at least, reasonable, but either way, who would have heard of inviting a dog into a Clan? Dogs and cats hunted differently. While he bounded through the forest just to chase some measly squirrel, it would scare everything else away and alert the other clans.
