Brightkit didn't know what her mother said and went outside the den, past her father. She then saw a stick. She picked it up and started nibbling on it a little.

Goldenstream saw her kit nibling on a stick and walked outside then den. She took the stick out of her kits mouth and walked inside the den. Brightkit followed her mother.

Goldenstream just consintrated on the dog and tasted the air.

Goldenstream looked at her dead kit and blinked. She then picked up the kit gently with her teeth and cuddled next to firekit. " I wondered why he was always asleep." Whitepaw said softly.

" I...I don't know....,," Goldesnstream said sadly. " And you don't talk like an ordinary cat," Goldenstream said sad and questioned.

A tear came out of Goldenstreams eye at the lost of her kit. The tear fell on her Firekit's dead body. Brightkit ran ans sat in front of Firekit. She then licked Firekit once with her puny tongue.

Whitepaw went to go get fresh kill for Goldenstream. She thought it might make her feel better. Whitepaw came back to the nursery with a squirrel in her jaw. She dropped the squirrel and said, " Do you want the squirrel? " Goldenstream said no and laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes. " Are you sure?," Whitepaw asked. Goldenstream opened her eyes. looked at Whitepaw. Goldenstreams eyes were wet and shiny with tears. Whitepaw felt bad for Goldenstream. She then took the squirrel and but it back in the fresh-kill pile.

Goldenstream sniffed and walked toward the fear, and dog scent. She then saw a cat running away from angry dogs without a twoleg. She wondered about the cat. She then ran to Flamestar, and told her what she saw.

Goldenstream got up and rolled her kit with her paw. On his muzzle she saw hawk marks and red liquidy blood. ( I don't care if i spelled that wrong.) She then started to lick her kits blood and the big marks. " I hope he's just in faint....," Goldenstream said softly.
