Faylen Jones, a rebellious student, meets a new boy in detention. He isn't exactly her type, he's 'good'. And after being told she's failing history, she's assigned a tutor. After finding out it was the same new guy from detention, she soon falls in love with him.

Carter swung a sword around in the camp, he looked around and practiced combat training. He ran a hand through his messy hair and searched for Faylen. He called her name.

Faylen walked out of the Aphrodite cabin, her blonde hair fell to her hips in curls. She wore short, jean shorts and a white tank top, with white sandals. Faylen yawned, when she heard her name be called. "Faylen, Fay!" she heard a fimilar voice call. Faylen looked around until she saw Carter, gesturing her over. She rolled her eyes and walked in the other direction. She crossed her arms and ignored her brother.

Carter watched her leave. He sighed, but there was no point of stopping her.
