"Look at that warrior, Beary! Acting like she's pretty high up! You should go show her who's the boss!" Aviaryflight cheered, bouncing around from left to right, hoping that Bearstar would, for once, take her side and actually listen to her. But seeing as Aviaryflight's mind was everywhere, it didn't much matter if Bearstar did or didn't. Next thing you know she'd be thinking about butterflies in WindClan.

"I see." Bearstar meowed, flicking an ear in irritation, Aviaryflight was messing with it, by flicking her tail back and forth across it - successfully annoying Bearstar but she couldn't do anything about it lest these cats think she was crazy. She couldn't have that happening, and besides at least Aviaryflight was a born RiverClan kit at one point - even if she had killed herself.

"You are ignoring me again. I don't like this!" Aviaryflight yowled out, making Bearstar flinch. "Because I am busy! And you just want to cause problems!" She hissed through telepathy. "And you want to join RiverClan?" Questioned the brown tabby leader curiously. She didn't mind more warriors but she did have to keep a standard procedure going on, lest any cat thought they could just walk right in and think they could join.

"See!" Came the voice of Aviaryflight then, wrapping herself around Bearstar and purring loudly. Rangerflash seemed okay, emotionally drained perhaps and tired and confused. "Think he's doing okay? Think he's a touch cookie?" She questioned the brown tabby.

"Rangerflash..." Bearstar murmured softly, shaking her head. She couldn't stand to see her Deputy so lost like this. "If... if you need some time off..." She said, trying to approach the subject and sighing softly. "As... a warrior." She wanted Rangerflash to continue being her Deputy, for he was the one thing she was sure that was stable in her life since she became leader, and it scared her to see him like this.

    "Promote me!" Giggled Aviaryflight.

"And how would I explain to the Clan that their Deputy? Is a ghost." Bearstar shot back at her. "Not only that but the only way Rangerflash is being demoted is if he's dead or he resigns!" Bearstar was furious at such a thought.

"Don't be so touchy, you're the one who asked him if he needed time off." Aviaryflight countered, shrugging and glancing over at the tom cat, with a soft smile. "I wonder how he fell for Silentwitness, I bet he could do so much better."

Bearstar shoved her and focused back on Rangerflash when he asked her a question. Had she ever lost a close friend? She had lost her mother when Cougareyes left her, her sister because of her mother, and her father because of ScarClan. Then her daughter because of ScarClan, her brother had killed himself for god knows why.

"Whoa Beary, how many of your family kills themselves?"

"My mother, my sister, my brother." She meowed simply to Rangerflash, anger flaring up inside her. Why had her mother killed herself because of Cougareyes? And why did her sister follow suit? "Three suicides." She commented softly. She was so angry with them! She wanted to speak to them and ask them why they had done that! Why had they left her alone like this? She was the Leader all because of unfortunate events that she didn't think should have happened right away.

"Beary don't follow in their footsteps." Said Aviaryflight. "You die. I die." Said the former RiverClanner.

Bearstar nodded her head, listening to the details about the tom cat that her daughter was currently seeing. "So is he your official mate?" She questioned her daughter curiously.

"Yeah yeah, he's the most amazing tom in the world." Scoffed Aviaryflight, rolling her eyes. She was still pretty pissed off that her lover had been demoted and then fled RiverClan and killed himself, and knowing she could never be with him was simply too much of a burden to bare.

"Now who's angry?" Countered Bearstar, with a shake of her head at Aviaryflight. "You really can be with him now you know... well if you left me you could." The brown tabby meowed to her former apprentice.

"Yeah. I know you're so eager to get ridda me! Well guess what! Not so easy!" She hissed, tail lashing at Bearstar. "And just so you know? I couldn't be with him!" He didn't love her and it didn't even matter now anyways.

Bearstar frowned and glanced away, watching Aviaryflight storm off a little ways without saying another word. "Whoops..." She murmured aloud, looking back to her daughter Maylaysun. "Why don't you?" She asked then, what was wrong with his family? Was it someone she had kicked out of RiverClan? "Do I know them?" She questioned then.

She wanted to make sure all her kits had wonderful, happy lives. That included any tom who was going to be mates with her daughters or any she-cats that were going to be her sons mates. Hopefully they were all full blooded RiverClanners because then it would be more acceptable to her.

Indeed she had wished to speak to the tom who had stolen her daughters heart away. She was only all too thankful he was a RiverClanner because it made things more easy to accept for her, no matter how much she didn't want her daughter to grow up. So long as she stayed within RiverClan she supposed she could accept it with time.

"Aviaryflight, please I'm sorry about earlier." Bearstar thought through telepathy to the former RiverClanner, she was up ahead, slashing her claws at a rock inside her den. Though because she was dead it would not truly leave markings, it still upset her quite a bit that Aviaryflight was mad at her. She had grown accustomed to her being around her and commenting on this and that. "Please... speak to me." The brown tabby begged of her.

Aviaryflight turned and glared at Bearstar. "At least you get to live a happy life! At least you get to be with the love of your life and she returned that love!" Shouted the she-cat, tail lashing back and forth. It caused Bearstar to flinch and she sighed. "I'm sorry!" What did Aviaryflight want her to do? Magically bring her back to life? She didn't even know how Aviaryflight was here to begin with or even how cats developed powers!

"Oh... Bearstar meowed, spotting a tom cat. "I presume you are Eclipsedvanquisher." She meowed, stepping forward to meet the tom. "Maylaysun's mate?" She began. True to her word she had wanted to meet him and make sure he was her daughters everything like she made him out to be. "You have stolen my daughters heart you know." She murmured softly, spotting Aviaryflight shoot her a glare. She would have to remind herself not to talk about love to her again since it seemed to piss her off a lot.

"Make sure you tell him to always be faithful." Aviaryflight murmured, padding forward with her eyes on the ground in shame. "Sorry... about earlier." She apologized to Bearstar. "I didn't mean it." And she hadn't. She was just upset.

"You're so lucky I forgave you, you know." Aviaryflight meowed, padding in beside Bearstar. "I really hope today's not so busy, I want some peace." Continued the she-cat, flicking her tail back and forth.

"Or what? You'll attack them?" Bearstar challenged back, holding back a smirk and a laugh. There wasn't much Aviaryflight could truly do to anyone. Hell, no one saw her but Bearstar and even then Bearstar wished half the time she didn't see Aviaryflight. "And what peace? I'm the one who never gets any peace around here!" Bearstar meowed, thwacking her with a paw across the head.

"That's not very nice!" She shot back at Bearstar, ducking and turning to stare at something, that had yet to catch either Bearstar's or Aviaryflight's attention.

"What?" Bearstar meowed, padding forward, into her den, though she was only slightly hesitant, "what is it?" She questioned her former apprentice.

"Hey Beary... ever seen something white and fluffy?"

    "A... rabbit?" Asked Bearstar.

"Big, white and fluffy." Corrected Aviaryflight then.

"What on StarClan's name are you going on about..." Murmured Bearstar, padding forward, and poking her head inside her den. "What... the..." Bearstar finally murmured aloud. "That's no rabbit." She confirmed, cringing at the smell of blood.

"Uhm... What're you doing in my den?" Questioned Bearstar to the sheep.

"Does it speak cat?" Aviaryflight asked then, curious beyond her years.

"Dunno if it does." Answered Bearstar, poking it with her paw. "Do you speak cat?"

"Looky! Looky!" Cheered Aviaryflight, bounding forward as she spotted Dawnvision, Stacysong and some random tom. "I think Stacy's got it going on!"

    Bearstar snorted then.

"What? What did I say?" Aviaryflight questioned, tilting her head to the side.

"Did you seriously just say that?" Laughed Bearstar, unable to contain herself and appear normal.

Aviaryflight narrowed her eyes and let out a 'hpmh' sound before stalking forward, poking Stacysong and then glancing back at Bearstar. "You know something?" She murmured quietly.

    "What?" Questioned Bearstar then.

"They can see me." Aviaryflight said, grinning sheepishly. She knew who could see her and who couldn't, but had kept it in the down low for quite some time now, having told Bearstar that she was the only one, no matter what, who could see her, which was why she had possessed her. "Don't be angry." She mewed, purring loudly.

Bearstar glanced over to Stacysong and her mate, and glanced away sheepishly. "Hi guys..." She murmured softly. "Who's the tom?" She asked then, wondering who he was. Hopefully it wasn't some annoying tom who thought he was all that.

"How dare she call me a spirit! How dare she!" Shouted Aviaryflight, eyes narrowed at Lanipaw in disbelief. This she-cat apprentice how no clue who she was!

"Uhm... that might be because you died before she was born." Pointed out Bearstar to Aviaryflight who glared dagger eyes at her. "Sorry." Bearstar countered quickly, shaking her head at her former apprentice.

"Never mind that, Beary! I have an idea!" Avairyflight exclaimed with excitement. She couldn't wait to try it out and see if it worked with Lanipaw, Bearstar and her! Who knew if it was wasted effort or not, but oh wel. She would try something before giving up like this!

"What's your brilliant idea this time?" Asked Bearstar, stepping back for a second. She knew better than to trust Aviaryflight and her 'ideas' least she get herself into something she couldn't get out of. Last time it had been to attempt to kill a bird in the tree.

"Okay, okay, so that was a bad idea, but this one doesn't require any climbing, RiverClanner!" Aviaryflight said, laughing softly, and rolling onto her back, paws flailing in the air.

"RiverClanners don't climb! Second off! You're a RiverClanner too!" Scoffed Bearstar, eyes narrowing once more, as she shoved Aviaryflight with her paw. What it likely looked like to anyone watching, like Lanipaw, was Bearstar waving her paw in the air. "get up and quit making me look like a fool."

"Well if you tried my idea, we wouldn't look like a fool now would we?"

"Who's we? There's no you in I." Bearstar muttered. Would she ever get used to the thought of Aviaryflight inside of her mind? And that was when it clicked! "I see what you're trying to do!" She meowed to Aviaryflight then.

Aviaryflight grinned, and rolled over, padded back to Bearstar, and 'merged' into the she-cat before stepping to Lanipaw and touching her nose. She could only attempt to do this through telepathy. There was no way the voices would be different if she spoke aloud. "Lanipaw." Aviaryflight meowed thoroughly. "Lanipaw, can you hear me?"

"Look, buddy, I'm sorry." Bearstar meowed, padding forward, "but if you're asking for help you might as well beat it. RiverClan's not helping some small tribe fight some petty battle!"

"Whoa, whoa, Beary. Down girl! Down!" Chanted Aviaryflight from inside her, trying to calm the brown tabby down. What in StarClan's name had set her off like this?

"Sorry." She muttered quietly, glaring at the tribe cat. "Leave. I'm not sending RiverClan out to help you." That much she knew was final. She wasn't going to set up an alliance with some fake clan, er tribe, whatever and help them just because they knew RiverClan was bigger.

"Do me, no wait, everyone a favor and go back to the clans and tribes you originally belonged to. Stop making fake tribes and clans!" She hated it. It was stupid and pointless. So many cats had fled from RiverClan to make a 'better' RiverClan and every time they failed and came crawling back, crying, begging to rejoin RiverClan.

"What happened to the gentle Bearstar?" Murmured Aviaryflight, stepping back as she shot dagger eyes at her. "I think you've spent too much time inside the den, lets go for a walk." She meowed, trying to discourage the brown tabby.

"Later." She growled in telepathy to her, watching the tribe cat and saying nothing. She didn't even notice her own Deputy right in front of her.

Bearstar scoffed and shook her head. "That is the price you pay for leaving your original ancestors." The brown tabby meowed, tail flicking back and forth. Honestly, these cats and the nerves they had! Who did they think they were? That they could just keep crawling back to those they were former allies with or enemies for that matter, change their alliance and then ask for assistance. Maybe she was being a little irrational but she hated these kind of cats, taking everything they had for granted and the minute something pissed them off, they were outta there.

"No. I won't help you." She meowed firmly, shaking her head. "If you want to bring your kits to RiverClan and have them join, I will have them cured of this sickness, but if you're not looking to join then get out of here." Bearstar said, it was truly unfortunate for the kits, but it had to be said. "Perhaps ThunderClan will be more kind to you." Because ThunderClan always helped those that betrayed them in the end and random loners or kittypets. That was simply who ThunderClan was.

"You have a baaad attitude beary." Giggled Aviaryflight, she couldn't help but watch as Bearstar's anger was fueled by this silly 'tribe' cats request to assist and aid his dying 'tribe. It wasn't every day that Bearstar was driven this angry by anyone. The brown tabby was usually calm, cool and collect. She thought about what needed to be said or done before just lashing out. "I like you this way." She commented softly.

"Nobody asked you for your opinion, Aviary." Bearstar lashed out, before realizing what she said and her ears went flat against her head. "Sorry." She muttered. That tom cat just seriously pissed her off. What was she suppose to do? Help him simply because he asked for help? It just didn't work like that. Sure they had plenty of herbs and stuff, but the herbs were for RiverClan and RiverClan only. They couldn't afford to give them to every cat who simply asked for them.

"You have a visitor." Murmured Aviaryflight, prodding Bearstar with her paw to wake the slumbering brown tabby from her nap. Bearstar mumbled something incoherent and Aviaryflight narrowed her eyes.

"Hey fuzzball! I said you have a visitor!" She prodded her harder and caused Bearstar to let out a yelp and scramble to her paws, her fur puffed out and her pupils widened before she took a small breath and glanced around. "Where?" She mumbled softly, as Aviaryflight pointed to a figure who had just gotten to her den.

"Watch the name calling." Growled Bearstar, shaking her fur off and turning to face the visitor, she briefly recognized her, there was often too many RiverClanners she had a trouble keeping up with all their names. "What can I do for you?" She meowed, glancing at the large fish in her mouth.

"Don't drool, slobbermouth." Whistled Aviaryflight and giggled softly. "You really should eat more, you know." She couldn't remember the last time her former mentor and leader had last eaten at that thought.

"Wasn't planning on it smart ass." Grumbled Bearstar in response as she waited quietly for a response from the young apprentice.

"Another visitor!" Chimed in Aviaryflight, dancing around Bearstars den, something had put her in a good mood and the brown tabby wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to know what it was or not. Sighing softly, she got to her paws with a small groan and headed to the front of her den to see who it was this time. She sincerely hoped it wasn't another apprentice requesting a ceremony, she was pretty sure Rangerflash had those under control.

    "You're not even gonna ask?"

Aviaryflights question had thrown her off. "Excuse me?" Murmured the brown tabby.

"No, excuse me for thinking you wouldn't be so self centered!" Hissed the she-cat, her tail lashing in anger.

"Aviaryflight not today please." Bearstar said, shaking her head in annoyance.

    "Then ask me!"

    "Ask you what exactly?"

"Why I'm in a good mood!" Shrieked Aviaryflight, seemingly more angry than she was only moments ago. Bearstar really was self centered at this rate! The brown tabby was suppose to be her friend and friends asked questions!

"Later." Bearstar replied and turned to face the young kit, and smiled softly. "What can I do for you?" She asked.

"Oh boy! My first announcement on the rock! Yipeee!" Cheered Aviaryflight, standing above the rock and glancing down at the empty clearing. "Say Beary, did you ever think you'd fall and get hurt up here?" Giggled the she-cat before shaking her head.

"What are you doing?" She questioned, padding over to her and poking her with a paw.

"Thinking." Bearstar replied calmly, her eyes closed loosely before sighing and getting to her paws.

"The alternative is just thinking backwards... and that's remembering."

"Don't be a smart ass right now." Bearstar replied calmly and padded to the edge of the high rock. She had plans, plans that needed to be settled and dealt with accordingly. RiverClan had changes coming to them and they needed to know about it.

    "Pssst."

    "What?!" Bearstar hissed in thought.

"Say allo RiverClan!" Chanted Aviaryflight, tail swishing back and forth as she stood beside Bearstar next to the tip of the high rock. "RiverClan! Gather around for a Clan meeting! This is one that has brought on many changes to RiverClan and you need to be informed!"

"Aww you didn't say allo!" Aviaryflight seemed truly upset.

"I will not wait all day! You need to be here! Kits and queens this involves you as well! There are some changes you need to be aware of before something unfortunate happens to your kits!"

Aviaryflight scanned around, wondering which cats with the sight would be able to see her. She knew Dawnvision and Stacysong could see her, but who else could?

"Wow! Look at that! LOOK at that! She gave you a big, giant fish!" Squealed Aviaryflight, spinning around in a circle, unable to contain her delight and excitement.

"Gee, could you GET any more excited?" Murmured Bearstar, watching the she-cat spin around in circles, roll on her back and then flail her paws in the air. "I take it back, I think you could." Turning to face the young apprentice she smiled softly.

"Put that down over there." She murmured, nodding her head in the direction that was near her nest before sitting down, content. "What's your question?" The brown tabby asked, smiling softly. Meanwhile, Aviaryflight was still flailing around the den, enjoying herself and drooling about.

"And you called ME a dog earlier." She nearly cracked up laughing at the other she-cat, but knowing if she did anything like that she would probably frighten the apprentice half to death and she would never know the question she had to answer to.

"You think he can see me?" Murmured Aviaryflight, padding forward. It appeared she had forgotten their earlier fighting fest when she wanted to poke Doctorkit.

"Doubt it. He's just a kit." Bearstar replied, eyes glaring in annoyance at her friend. "Now leave him alone, I've got business to attend to. Why don't you like... go eat that fish that's sitting by my nest." She suggested, turning back to face the young kit.

"Picked on, you said? You mean he bullies you? Why?" Did she have to call an announcement to the Clan that bullying would be punishable by her word of law? She hated bullies and kits picking on other kits was the wrong way to grow up. "Are you sure he's not just rough-housing?" She asked Doctorkit curiously.

Out of the corner of her eye she watched Aviaryflight laughing like a maniac as she devoured the fish with large bites, appearing not to have even swallowed one bite as she took it. Her pupiles widened slightly, but she said nothing before she focused back onto Doctorkit.

Bearstar too, was quiet for a moment, before she sighed softly and glanced around the den. It wasn't very often she had deep conversations with Rangerflash, and usually it was always about family or something more than that. A memory flashed back to right around his promotion to Deputy and he was telling her about his mother and Bearstar knew she just would have been proud of him.

"Now look at him." Chimed in Aviaryflight, which caused Bearstar to shake her head and come back to the present. "Day dreamer." Aviaryflight side and giggled softly. "I think he's waiting for you to say something to him, don'tcha think?" Probably, he was waiting for a response because it took two to have a conversation...

"Well... sometimes." Giggled Aviaryflight, lashing her tail back and forth playfully. "Unless you're you, Beary!" She shoved her forward, causing Bearstar to stumble a bit and she let out a small hiss of frustration before turning back to face her Deputy and smiled softly.

Bearstar missed her family terribly, her mother and father both gone, her brother and mentor and her sister too. Everyone kept leaving her and she was sad and angry at the same time. Even her own daughter had left her here alone. "No." She muttered quietly. But she had to wonder if that was because she was angry at them. "I'm mad at them." She admitted quietly, not knowing if Rangerflash would be able to hear her.

"They left me here, like this." She waved her tail all around. For some, it might have seemed as if Bearstar had it all. Leadership, a Clan that looked up to her, a family, kits, grandkits, a loving mate and whatever else. But to Bearstar fortune and fame could not compare to the loneliness she felt inside for her family and friends. "Go... go to the Moonstone." She stumbled to say. "Do what you have to do and then come back. You have to come back, okay?" She didn't want to lose her Deputy, especially not the one who had been there all along.

"Him! He see's me!" Aviaryflight yowled loudly, causing Bearstar to flatten her ears at the screeching. "You see that kit right there? No, not that one! That's your daughter and she's a girl! The boy! No I don't know his name!" She meowed, talking too quickly for Bearstar to say much.

Bearstar's eyes grew wary around the shark, Bruce, and she had to wonder why nobody else was so wary around him, was the fact that a shark had swam up through the moat not enough to cause drama within the Clan? Were they truly that oblivious or was she making a big deal out of nothing. Coughing slightly, she smiled down at the Clan. "Thank you, Lanipaw." She murmured back through telepathy having heard her granddaughter speak through her, she often had a little trouble detecting who was speaking through it because of Aviaryflight's mindless chatter. "Aviaryflight says hello too." She said, which sent giggles through the former RiverClanner.

"I am glad you have chosen to gather!" She called out, her voice loud and clear and stable; like a leader. The brown tabby scanned the section of cats she was looking for. So far there was no sight of Rainkissed, nor Rangerflash not even Spellcaster. She let out a small sigh and looked over at Bruce. "Hi Bruce." She mumbled quietly. "Warriors of RiverClan! This here is Bruce! He is a shark and he is our... our friend." She managed to say though it had taken her a moment to fully do so. It was awkward to call a shark a friend. "He has a... a Clan... or something that patrols the rivers around here to save and rescue anyone who falls into the river." That was the only reason she was keeping Bruce around, for RiverClan. "They will be an unofficial group of RiverClan called the Lifeguards." Bearstar said, hoping the Clan would be okay with that.

"I been too quiet, can I speak now, Beary?" Questioned the she-cat curiously, skidding to a stop beside her once more. "I wanna talk to that kit when we're done! Who IS he? Why's he here? Did you accept him into RiverClan Beary? Was I sleeping? Oh surely I was!" She rambled on and on.

Bearstar said nothing though, she had much more to announce to RiverClan other than the Lifeguard position she was now putting into effect to save countless kits' lives and even warriors from ThunderClan or WindClan who so foolishly fell into the river. Everyone knew the river was RiverClans and save for the random loner or two, mostly tried to avoid it. Fish was the RiverClanners and lest they were stupid they kept to themselves.

"Beary! An apprentice! An apprentice! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!" Squealed Aviaryflight in delight as she took a step forward and scanned the young Kelpiepaw over, curiously. "I'unno Beary, she look like a great apprentice to youuu?" Questioned her former apprentice, a big goofy grin on her face.

"I wouldn't see why not, Aviaryflight." Said Bearstar. "Every apprentice has a chance to do their very best, and even you were mentored by me so you really have no say in this." The brown tabby meowed, turning back to face Kelpiepaw.

"Your mentor huh." Murmured Bearstar with a soft smile. How many apprentices had she trained to warriors now that had proved themselves worthy of excellent positions inside of RiverClan? "You know I mentored Silentwitness and Spellcaster, even Pandabear?" She meowed.

"That makes you sound old." Commented Aviaryflight.

Usually her apprentices aspired to be something great, perhaps Kelpiepaw would do that too, one day. "You know what? Sure. I'll take you on as my apprentice but you can't be lazy." Said the brown tabby, a small smile on her face.

Oh! Oh! He waved at me!" Squealed Aviaryflight in delight, her eyes seemingly to glow with happiness before she bounced off the rock, flicking her tail in a 'see you later' fashion to Bearstar before heading towards the small Tempestkit. "Hi hi! My name is Aviaryfight!" She meowed, acting just like an excited kit.

"Enjoy..." Bearstar thoughtfully sent through telepathy to Aviaryflight before she spotted Photopaw with her granddaughter Lanipaw and she smiled softly. The two kind of reminded her of her daughter Maylaysun and her new mate. She would have more grandkits to expect soon and the thought kind of petrified her. Was she getting old or were her kits reproducing too quickly? She preferred to go with the latter instead of the former.

"Shark are friends!" She yowled out, trying not to choke on her own words. She was trying to make it not so obvious that the shark scared the living daylights out of her, but well, she guessed it couldn't be helped if one or two cats saw through it. "This is not all that I have to announce!" She called out louder, wanting to get the attention of the Clan back onto her.

"Supervisors is being changed to Vice-Deputy." Said the brown tabby. "Nothing has changed but the name." Continued Bearstar. "I would like to announce Lanipaw and Spellcaster as the additional two Vice-Deputies!" Bearstar knew that Spellcaster's name would go over well likely anyway, seeing as she had been a Assistant Deputy since the position had been created. "Assistant Deputies position is no more! This position is not needed." Sure it meant losing one or two cats, but that had to be done.

She scanned the clearing, looking for one other cat, but having no such luck, sighed softly and waited to see the reaction of her Clan. What would they take to the naming of an apprentice being promoted so early? Of course, Swiftsolace, their own Deputy had been promoted at the same age and they had been perfectly okay with her so they really had no room to complain.

Sleep had come restlessly to the brown tabby she-cat, the minute she closed her eyes she could expect a kit wanting a ceremony or a warrior asking for an apprentice and if neither the former or the latter was the case then it was sure to be Aviaryflight, bothering her once again. It was all too silent and panic began to rise from her as she slowly crawled out of her nest and glanced around the den. It was the middle of the day already and she couldn't believe she had slept in so late. "Aviaryflight?" She called out, forgetting to call our through telepathy.

Where was the she-cat? Aviaryflight had become the closest she-cat to her other than her mate. And she hadn't even seen Dawnvision in some time now, it made her heart pang for a few moments before she shook her head. Dawnvision was probably busy and that was the reason that she hadn't seen her beloved as of late. Pushing Dawnvision to the back of her mind the brown tabby saw a flicker of movement and immediately she lashed her tail and pounced to the front of her den.

"About time you woke up sleepy bird." Chided Aviaryflight, as giddy as ever. Bearstar's eyes narrowed slightly at her but she said nothing but resorted to swiping a paw across her muzzle, which to those who couldn't see the spirits just looked like she was probably swiping at a fly - or thin air. "I was out exploring." Aviaryflight told her then, still grinning. "Remember that one kit? What was his name... Tempestkit? Yeah. I was looking for him." She admitted.

"And did you find him?" Questioned Bearstar, curiously tilting her head to the side. "Don't you go and torture that poor kit, he probably has it hard enough as it is you know that as well as I do, Aviaryflight." Chided the RiverClan Leader once again. She couldn't help but shake her head though and manage a small laugh at her former apprentice and warrior.

"It's not MY fault he can see me you know?" Scoffed the she-cat.

"Try harder next time not to make your presence so... so known."

"Yeah like you would know, you're speaking aloud again, no matter how many times I tell you." Laughed Aviaryflight glancing around. "Say! I hear something! Follow me!" Exclaimed Aviaryflight, as excited as a newborn kitten was to hungrily suckle milk from it's mother.

"Alright! Alright! I am coming!" Bearstar yowled, chasing after her friend before skidding to a stop in front of Photopaw.

"Say, isn't he the tom your granddaughter loves?" Asked Aviaryflight, narrowing her eyes at the tom.

"Are... Are you Photopaw?" Bearstar questioned. She had already met Maylaysun's mate and had made it a mission to meet her relatives, especially close relatives, mates and make sure they always treated the ladies right.

"I got this." Aviaryflight meowed to Bearstar, merging with the brown tabby and narrowing her eyes at the two cats. She was having a bad name and didn't quite feel like putting up with annoying requests, despite Bearstar's protests that she didn't really mind having to deal with it. After all, she had accepted her leadership knowing these types of things would be required.

"What do you want." Came Aviaryflight's voice through Bearstar's. "I don't have all day, so what do you want?" She asked again.

"You're going to scare them!" Shrieked Bearstar through telepathy to her former apprentice who merely shrugged off her words. So what if she scared some measly cats? Maybe it would have taught them a lesson from right to wrong. Right was you left the leader and her annoying playmate alone, wrong was you decided to bother the sleeping cat and made the mouse run.

"Come on, Aviaryflight be a little nice to them! After all, you're using MY body to do all the talking!" Screeched Bearstar, her tail lashing with a bit of anger and annoyance to her former apprentice and warrior of RiverClan.

"Don't worry, this won't take long." Chided Aviaryflight, a wicked grin on her face as she waited for a response from these two cats.
