Frostclaw

Frostclaw eyed Hawkshadow with envy for a moment but pushed it away. She had only been a warrior for a couple moons. But I could beat any of the senior warriors in a battle... She thought and sighed. Why do I even want to be deputy? She asked herself. Everything seemed to go quiet and an answer formed in her mind. An answer that came from deep in her soul, To show them I can, so Tigerlily will notice, so mother will be proud...... So I'm not worthless..

Frostclaw woke up from her daze of thoughts, she shook her head to clear it and looked around. The meeting seemed to be over and cats had started wandering around. She decided to continue her daily routine: Wake up, eat, look for apprentice, go hunting, look for apprentice some more, go on a patrol, look for apprentice again, go to sleep, repeat. " Maplepaw! " She called and padded to the apprentice den. " Maplepaw " she called again.

Larkkit

Larkkit batted at her mother's fluffy white tail. She bounced around it and puffed out her fur. The little kit crouched low to the ground and pounced at her mother's tail.

Oh my gosh I missed a lot! Ummm where should Kira be?

Kira stayed at the back of the group she was still trying process what had happened. She glanced at King's broken body, it would be very sad if he didn't make it but it seemed to be most likely that he would not survive. She was very tempted to run back to camp a head of the others but kept a steady pace, she couldn't afford to run into a mutant. The Aussie was acutely aware of all the dogs around her she didn't like this at all She took a few deep breaths and continued along, still glancing around nervously..

Fernhaze padded out of the warrior's den and yawned.

Wildkit was in the nursery lazily playing with her tail.

Jaykit trotted back to his worried mother.

Meadowsong sniffed to air, searching for a scent of Snowkit.

Sweetsoul

Sweetsoul smiled as her mate nuzzled and mewed " I like the name ". She then set her head on her paws, she was exhausted. As she set her head down she noticed Decendingkit had opened his eyes. " Nightstar, look, " Sweetsoul mewed quietly then continued " Decendingkit has opened his eyes ".

Flowerkit

Flowerkit lifted her head, her brother had opened his eyes?. What was that? She suddenly became very jealous, I want to open my eyes! She thought and started to puzzle out how to open her eyes. She extended and detracted her claws to no avail. Then she slowly opened one eye just a slit.

Frostclaw

Frostclaw sighed and padded out of camp. She needed to hunt to clear her head. The she-cat quickly caught a scent, blackbird. She stalked up to the bird and pounced wasting no time in the process. Frostclaw buried her kill then set out to find something else.

Larkkit

Larkkit sat down and paitently waited for her mother to return.

Kira simply got out of the way when they reached camp. She sat in her corner and watched everything happen. She flicked an ear back when Azkara said she was going up to the surface again. That was unwise. The Aussie frowned as Meeko was shot down as he tried to speak. She sighed as Azkara tried to apologize.

Kira was looking in the opposite direction as the dog approaching so she failed to notice until she felt eyes on her. She turned around quickly the fur along her spine slightly raised in wariness. Why did this dog come to her?. Kira took a moment to search for a name " Storm ". " What brings you to me? " She asked choosing her words very carefully. Kira quickly realized she had made a mistake there were two answers to her question, Storm could answer what she wanted to talk about or do or say or she could answer why she came to Kira. She would most likely answer the first way, most dogs did. Then she noticed another mistake on her part, her posture was all wrong she should be showing submission, not this sort of casual position. She quickly adjusted her posture in light of her mistake bringing her tail down and making sure her head was lower than Storms. The Aussie began running through a list of reasons that Storm would choose her to talk to her, Maybe I am considered a senior scavenger now? After all she had been with the pack for quite some time now; Or perhaps it was no secret Kira was smart? Kira sighed inwardly she would just have to wait and see.

Frostclaw

Frostclaw lifted her nose to the air in an attempt to scent prey. She climbed a tree and sat in it waiting for a bird of a rodent to wander beneth her. Soon a mouse scurried to a pinecone on the ground by the tree Frostclaw was sitting in. She dropped on to the mouse and killed it within moments. Frostclaw padded back to her previous kill and dug it up. She trotted back to camp with an uneasy feeling settting in. She dropped her catch in the fresh kill pile.

Rosestar took a moment to compose herself then sounded the ancient call into the calm winter air. " All cats well enough to catch their own prey meet beneath the Tall Stump for a clan meeting. She watched as cats emerged from dens and flattened snow beneath their paws. It really was a beautiful sight, all the paw prints radiating from the clump of cats at the bottom of the stump. " As you all know it is time for me to chose a deputy, " Rosestar paused. " I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Pineclan will be Whispertouch. " She meowed and looked to the she-cat that she had just appointed.

Lilystream slowly untangled herself from her mate then padded out of the elders den, taking note of the soft snow beneath her paws. She looked to the nursery and took a step toward it to check on her daughter before her other daughter called a clan meeting. She heard the soft crunching of cats walking on snow as they all drew closer to the stump.

Creamfur flicked her tail back and forth before deciding to go outside her den. The she-cat blinked rapidly as she stepped out of the den and a blinding white hit her eyes. Once her eyes adjusted she noticed snowflakes where still falling in a rhythmic pattern. Some cats had already made a path unknowingly through the snow. Where's Freckleleg? She thought of her mate once she was done admiring the snow. However the she-cat quickly spotted her brother with Wavecrest and Leopardsplash. She hurried over not eager to miss any thing. " Hello everyone! " She meowed to the group but was interrupted by her sister. Creamfur obediently drew closer to the Tall Stump although she made sure to stay with the little group.

]" That is all for now, may Starclan light your paths. " Rosestar finished and leaped off the stump into the deep snow. The she-cat sank into the white mass considerably, but quickly started to make a path to her new deputy. " Whispertouch, as your first task as my deputy, could you round up some cats to clear a path out of camp so we can get around. " Rosestar mewed and smiled, she felt a great weight lift off her shoulders she wasn't alone any more she had a cat she could simply give some of her work to it was n extraordinary feeling, but a frown tugged at her mouth when some of the weight rested on Whispertouch. Rosestar had great respect for this cat perhaps more than a leader should of a deputy, but it was understandable, Whispertouch had even trained her brother as an apprentice.

Lilystream nodded a yes to her mate and padded toward Creamfur who seemed to have gathered a small crowd, Flamesoul, Freezesonar, and Freckleleg. So many 'F's Lilystream thought fondly. Freezesonar seemed rather disengaged, but Flamesoul and Freckleleg where speaking to Creamfur. Lilystream threw a glance back to Rosestar, she wished her other daughter had found someone special. But, alas the duties of deputy and now leader have distracted her from finding a mate and now it seemed she would never find a mate.

" They are fine... " She mewed but sounded a little unsure she hopped it was true after all how was she supposed to know? The she-cat purred as she felt her mate's tail on her shoulders, she didn't even have to look up to know it was him. Her eyes wandered to the other group who where figuring out patrols " I wish I could go on patrols again " She said aloud it really was hard for her to stay in camp all day, by the second week she thought she might die of boredom.
