Booth rolled his eyes and waved the paper bag in her face. "Hellooo? Earth to Bones? You in there?" He said, lightly hitting Bones' head as if it were a door. "I gotcha some food."
-
Booth just smiled and set the bag down. He looked over to the enterence where Angela was walking in, her psychic following just behind her. Booth stared at the two, his smile fading.
(It's not at all what I had originally said. I swear.)
-
Bones looked from the bag to the bones, almost trying to decide which was most important.
-
The psychic walked towards Booth, leaving Angela to talk to herself as she walked. When she reached Booth, she grabbed his arm and said, "Angel....you're an angel...why can I touch you?"
Booth started to back away and almost hide his face. "I don't know what the hell your talking about." He turned around and looked at Bones. "I'll be back later, okay? Text me if you find anything else." He said quietly.
(MWUAHAHAHA)
-
The psychic chased after Booth as he walked away. "Stop, in the name of God."
Booth stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Okay, your right. I am an angel. I'm an angel of The Lord." He basically swung his arm out, the the lady was slammed to a wall. "And you don't mess with an angel." White wings with brown specks sprouted from his back, then covered him like a blanket.
-
Booth looked at Bones and his wings lowered. "I- Im...sorry." He said quietly.
-
Booth reached out to touch her arm and said, "No, Bones, you're not hallucinating." One wing stretched out and lightly brushed her shoulder. "Please believe me."
-
Booth sighed and said, "Temperance Brennan, why would I lie about being an angel?" He took a step towards her , wanting to comfort her.
-
Booth shook his head. "I can't force you to believe in God, but can I just show you something? Please?" He asked.
-
Booth smiled and reached his hands out to hold hers, and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, they were in a garden, and an older gentleman was tending to the plants. "Gabriel...visitor." He said, getting the mans attention.
-
Gabriel turned and looked Bones up and down before giving Booth a look. "May I ask, Seeley, why?"
Booth replied, "Im just giving her a quick look." He looked at Bones and said, "This is Gabriel; God's newly appointed messenger. If your wondering where we are...we're in God's Garden."
-
A clap of thunder boomed, followed by heavy rain. Gabriel gave Booth a glare.
Booth's wings spears out above her head, guarding her from the rain. "God is real, Bones."
With a snap of Gabriel's fingers, he (Gabriel) disappeared, and a gentleman slightly younger than Gabriel look his place. "Why don't you believe, Temperance?"
-
Booth pulled her slightly closer and tried to answer for her. "I think she believes that science proves religion wrong. Be nicer, Chuck."
Chuck reached out his arm towards Booth's neck, choking him. "God." He corrected Booth.
(Aw, chucks got an attitude.)
-
Booth was on his knees when Chuck *ahem* GOD finally let Booth breathe. "Bones, don't-"
Mr. Godly Chuck (hehe) stopped Bones' fist with his hand. "You really should just give in now." He said, the force from his hand pushing her back:
-
Booth laughed and went to help her. "Do you believe me yet?" He asked, not noticing Chuck, who was coming up behind him.
-
Booth looked over his shoulder before picking Bones up and running with her. "He may not be the nicest, but he is god."
-
"Bones, come on, we have to go!" Booth shouted, switching directions.
Zachariah walked up behind Bones and tapped her shoulder. "New here?" He said with a snicker.
-
Zachariah fell onto the ground, knocked out.
Booth caught a glimpse of Bones' eyes and just about fell in love. "Wow..." Was the only thing that he could think to say. He simply stared at her in awe; since he had never seen her.
-
Booth lightly set his hand on her shoulder. "Bones, you need to calm down, okay?" He said looking into her eyes. "Wow." He muttered again.
-
"I felt the same way, Bones. Just let me get you back and I'll help you calm down. Does that sound good?" Booth asked, his arms open, as if waiting for a hug.
