Roleplay sample is not going to be brought back. Instead, what I'm trying to do is expand on the advanced/intermediate network in the site, so that there are a few exclusively advanced/intermediate pseudoclans and such for people to roleplay there, if they choose.

That sounded a bit harsh wynn. I think it would be fine, to bring them back.

But yes, being told in front of the other characters was a bit uneasy for me. I still felt just as bad when my bio wasn't approved because of the roleplaying sample or a short history or something. It was difficult, but still. I feel that the mandatory rp would be best.

When I was a n0000b, the drivebys that were a result of having no guidelines { RP samples. } to show me, before I started. If people are told later on, they think that they wasted time making a bio and will feel jipped because they were told good job at first, and then somebody comes and tells them "Bad! Wrong!"
The result of no guidelines is what almost scared me off, not the RP samples.

The older members should get something too, and that should be a peaceful environment, and with craploads of rulebreaks, how is that to be possible? We're definitley giving to much to n000bs who are too lazy to write little sentences compared to what we write, and obviously if we're spoiling them enough to not even write that, they're gonna think they can break rules and get away with it.. And it's not fair to us older members because /we/ had to write them to even roleplay here..

As an older member, I can say i've become lazy because everyone has been breaking rules, and my bios aren't good enough to even make me wanna play the character! I don't even have that many characters, and I'm not in /one/ thread due to backup of genetic threads or slow plots..

And it's not only one time roleplay samples scaring newbs off, it's other things 'scaring' both newbs and older members off.

Does anyone have a place I can put a dog and wolfdog?

I may not have this problem, because seeing and hearing both register the same effect on my brain, and both of them put together can really help too, but just reading things for some people might be a bit confusing..

Some things like "How to put pictures in your Signature." & "How to edit your profile." && "How to post, for Newbs." should be made into a video. There should be a video recording the screen, showing people how to do these things..

How to report a post, how to report a profile, how to make a cat.

It would definitely lessen the question load and make sure that all of the newer members.. You could stick the videos in the Q&C Board and the guides board..

I'd be happy to make them, the videos I mean.

I've seen those, but they're a little more complicated to do than videos, IMO.. Because for the person taking them, it's a lot of uploads.
