Kaia shook her head. "I don't really know. It looked like a bunch of dragon were attacking a big one. Its took dark to see anything. I think it landed right outside the house." She pointed to the dark area,eyeing it. She walked towards it slowly.

Kaia blinked.It was so...dark. She spotted Kurais faint glow. She covered her mouth and nose against the smell. She got goosebumps and a sick feeling in her stomach. She realized they were right next to the large dragon. She spotted large bones in the darkness. "Is it...dead?" She whispered.

Kaia and Zypheria hovered for a moment,making sure all the attacking dragons were gone. Then they slowly descended until they landed, not too far from the castle walls. They spotted some dragons and humans up ahead. Kaia slide off the saddle gracefully and stood next to her dragon, her sleek black armor glinting coldly. They stood absolutely still, just facing the castle.

Kaia shivered and continued walking slowly. It seemed like it never ended. She froze at a soft, barely audible noise."Was that you?" She whispered to Kurai.

Kaia barely breathes as she listened for the sound again. She heard it again, it was the soft sound of leaves, like they were being rustled by the wind, but it wasn't wind. It was breath. Right next to her. She looked slowly to her left,seeing the skeletal outline of an enormous head. Her eyes widened, she didn't know what to do.

Kaia was a bit scared by the dragons tone of voice. For some reason,she didn't want to go back in the house. The moonlight was exposing more of the skeletal dragon next to her and she could take her eyes away. She tensed s she watched the leaves under her feet crackle and decay. She could see something moving but it was too dark to see.

Zypherias steady breath came out in short exhales and inhales. Technically, she didn't need to breath, but she was doing it without being aware of it. She opened her eyes into slits, the night coming into focus. She was immediately aware living things were next to her. Her dark tendrils started wisping around lazily like they were hungry but weak. She smelled something that she was dreading.

Kaia saw more movement and she nodded,slowly backing up towards the door.

Zypheria heard movement. How dare more come to attack her while she was weak. She slowly lifted her head with a low,defensive growl. Her tendrils moved faster, but not as fast as they did when she was at full strength. She sniffed in a deep breath. She saw the shapes in the dark. She had near- nightvision. She didn't make any move other then her head but she stayed on high alert. She gritted her teeth against the pain. She also smelled that feint smell that was angering her..

Zypheria narrowed her eyes She struggled to stand up,taking out a couple trees meanwhile. She let out a deep breath. She limped very slowly towards the bodies of the dragons she killed,her head hung low and her tail dragging behind her. The smell got stronger and she growled. When she got to the first body her tendrils wisped wildly. It was already a skeleton. But not from her. There is a a certain mixture of herbs that cause their bodies to secy immediately when they die. She was not able to heal herself by taking their life-force. She stood still for a while, thinking about what she should do.

Kaia peeked out the window. She was visibly shaking. She watched the dragon move and her jaw dropped,seeing how big it was up close. When it stopped over the body she noticed it looked disappointed.Why? She also realized how injured it was. The tribal girl in her ached to help it, but common sense told her to be wary of the skeletal beast.

Zypheria slowly turned until she was facing the small cottage. She didn't notice it before. It seemed...strange. She noticed a face in the window. She stared straight at it with her cold,dead,eyes.

Kaia froze,her eyes widening...

Kaia pouted,and tried to shrug off Numeria. "Do..so you think we should help it?" She whispered. She wasn't really thinking straight. She just wanted to do something.

Zypherias eyes narrowed and her head tilted slightly. She sighed and hung her head slightly again. Her tendrils reached for the trees,sucking them of their life. However, they weren't sufficient enough to heal her. Oh well, she would just have to wait it out. But first she needed a safe place to stay. She remembered the water and the slight smell near it, like there were others near it a lot. She started to slowly limp in that direction,only hesitating to listen to her surroundings. Her vision was starting to get fuzzy and she wasn't happy about it.

Kaia slowly started heading for the door again. She was intrigued."Are there a lot of dragons like that one?" She whispered.

Kaia was glad for her experience being silent in the forest. She had a feeling startling this dragon wouldnt go over well. She tiptoed slowly after it,making she she didn't stray too far from Numeria. She heard the loud scraping like the dragon was limping and dragging its leg or tail behind it. She also tried to avoid the patches of dead ground from earlier. She couldnt hear the faint sound of water running.

Zypheria trudged on, the waterfall coming into view. She stopped,acutely aware that someone or something was following her. She sniffed slightly and smelled human. Ew, but not much of a problem alone. She also scented dragon and she tensed. Were they already sending more after her? She swayed slightly and she knew she had to hide for once instead of fight. She ungracefully plopped into the water, swimming slowly into a large opening of a cave.

Kaia watched the dragon disappear under the water. "Where is it going?" She whispered.

Kaia pouted and crossed her arms. She sat don firmly to wait. No fair.

Zypheria slithered into the hidden cave, it smelled freshly of dragons but she didn't sense any inside. She limped deeper into it,her bones scraping against the stone. She dared risk it and close her eyes to really sense her surroundings. Her aura pulsed as she searched for lifeforms. She was draining the last of her energy fast. She could just make out a few lifeforces closeby before she collapsed in a giant heap of bones and decay. Her mind drifted in darkness.

The rider and her dragon remained still,except for their heads. They both turned them slightly to look at Ruby. The dragons eyes seemed hostile but speculative. The riders eyes just barely shone bright blue under the sleek black helmet. She tilted her head slightly, the movement oddly disconcerting and unhuman. What seemed like on queue, they both blinked and Zypheria, the dragon moved to behind Kaia. The enormous death dragon sat up straight like she was on watch. Kaia seemed to be waiting for this combo to speak.
