Brightstar nodded approvingly. "Good idea, Dewleaf. Fern and Moth, that also sounds like a good idea. All we need now are warrior, apprentice, and elder dens," she mewed. "Let's continue to look for suitable dens for them." She leapt down from the rock.

Flamekit sighed sadly. None of the other kits would play with him because he was a runt, and was so small he couldn't even hit the mossball without tumbling over. All the other kits laughed and made fun of him. If only he had a friend who wouldn't laugh at him just becasue he was small...

IC: Larkkit shrugged. "Not really. One time, I fell in a whole patch of poison ivy. No just my nose. You should've seen who looked like a fool then." She grinned. "So...you guys don't mind if I kind of...tag along? I don't really have any friends," Larkkit mewed sadly.

Flamekit suddenly realized there was something different about Moonkit, and just then noticed her sightless eyes and stiffled a gasp. "Are...you...Um, well...nojne of the other kits will play with me because I'm a runt." He had wanted to ask what was wrong with Moonkit's eyes but hadnt wanted to make her feel self concious and had held back from asking.
