OOC: I've spent most of my summer renovating my room. I HAVEN'T HAD A ROOM IN OVER A MONTH BAH.
IC: Newtpaw's head snapped up as Frostfur slipped through the bushes. She gave her mentor a small smile and sat, curling her tail around her paws. "I went hunting," she meowed, offering an explanation to why she was out. Hey, at least she's paying attention to me now... the apprentice thought to herself, desperate to prove herself to the she-cat.

Harestep smiled at his apprentice and nodded. "Today we're going to working on the duck and twist move. When I jump at you, you duck down, roll onto your back, and twist over to roll back onto your paws. Here, I'll show you. Jump at me as you would when you were attacking." Harestep turned towards his apprentices, several paces away. The tom readied himself for his apprentice's attack.
-
Harestep ducked under his apprentice's leap, rolling over and onto his back, then continued his roll onto his paws, up and facing his apprentice again. His whiskers twitched with amusement as his apprentice soared right over his head.
-
Roe shrugged. "The forest won't go on forever. We're walking away from the lab, and towards wherever the hell is away from it. I'm not sure where that is, but if anyone has any idea of where to go, please redirect me," she chuckled, not seeming especially stressed about the future. Currently, she felt freer than she ever had, and the lighthearted feeling had yet to disappear.
Oliver had finished his meal and cleaned most of the blood away from his maw and caught up with the rear of the group. At Jay's question he twitched his ears. The other boy was right. They couldn't keep just walking through the forest. Well... he wouldn't mind, but the others wouldn't be able to last out here. He scented the trees, but still all he could smell was the trees and the flowers and the wind.
-
Harestep flattened his ears at his apprentice. "Are you alright?" the tom asked anxiously, padding over to Shadepaw. Seeing the thorn, he blinked sympathetically. "C'mon, let's get you back to camp. We can train some other time." Letting the other tom lean on his shoulder, he padded back towards the camp.
Newtpaw followed her mentor's gaze, wondering what she should be looking at. Her tail twitched as she scented the air, eyes skimming the branches.
Gorseflower woke from her nap with a twitch, eyes slitted slightly. A slight pang ran through her and she sat up, ears flattening slightly.
-
Starlingstorm slipped into the nursery, nudging Heatherkit alongside her. Flopping into her nest, the pregnant queen yawned, a tired look on her face.
-
Gorsewhisker blinked and nodded, staring out of the den. "She does miss you. I can promise you that much," the queen purred softly. As Minkkit stirred, the queen unwrapped her tail to let the little kit out.
Minkkit yawned and stretched, looking out at the sun streaming in from the entrance of the den. Immediately perking up, he stretched out again and bounced to his paws, fur messy and fluffed up from sleep. Seeing Camelliabear sitting across the nursery, he flashed a bright smile and bounced over. "Camlliabear!" he squeaked, bouncing up to her and kneading his paws in her side.
-
Starlingstorm looked up at her mate with a smile. "Just a little," the queen meowed, snagging Heatherkit from her scramblings to drag her into the nest. "How are you doing, love?" she asked, nuzzling her mate's cheek.
Cinderfoot padded through the crowd, searching for the apprentice he would be working with.
-
Duckwhisker slipped through the entrance and padded into the trees, shaking his head and breathing in the scent of the forest, kneading his claws in the earth as he let his senses flood. His brown and white pelt flashed through the trees as he bounded forwards.

|| Thymeflower ||
Rank Queen
Gender She-cat
Age 25 moons
Personality Thymeflower is a sweet and usually gentle she-cat. She feels happiest working with kits and young apprentices, and is an amazing mother. She is an average hunter and not the best fighter, and spends most of her time in the nursery as a permanent queen, taking care of motherless kits and caring for older kits so that other mothers can get back to warrior duties sooner. She is very naïve and warm towards other cats, often trusting to a fault. However, when any kits are threatened, she is not afraid to tear them to pieces or die trying.

Rank Warrior
Gender Tom
Age20 moons
Personality Mallownose is an enthusiastic and upbeat tom, always taking an optimistic view on life. Born deaf in one ear, he quickly learned to appreciate everything that he did have and everything that went right in life. Despite not having hearing in one ear, he went on to become an god warrior and especially an excellent tracker. His senses of sight and smell are heightened due to the lack of hearing, but he still is a pretty poor hunter.

Rank Elder
Gender She-cat
Age 51 moons
Personality Mapletail is a calm and laid back she-cat, not concerned with the rushed pace that most of the younger warriors and apprentices are. After a fight with a fox that cost her an eye, the she-cat (at the time an older warrior) retired to the elders den to live out her days in relative peace. She generally gets along fairly well with the apprentices, doing her best to be accommodating for their chores. She's always happy to share a story or two with the younger cats of the Clan as well- be careful, though, get caught up in storytime and you may just get your ear talked off!

Gooseflower flinched again as another tremor ran through her. Flattening her ears, the queen groaned and shivered in her nest in the corner of the nursery. "Ravenfeather!" she cried out. "The kits!"
-
OOC:
(as far as I now what has happened so far is mostly cats going out on patrols, and training there apprentices, that and HeavyStep, the deputy, is planning something evil.~ I think that sums it up.)
also Gooseflower is havin her kits -
Gooseflower shuddered slightly, eyes wide as Tranquilpaw rushed into the nursery. She shuddered again, a tremor of pan running through her.
Newtpaw trotted through the trees, intent on finding more prey. Her tail swept through the brush as she crept along towards the border, ears pricked as she spotted a squirrel. Perfect. Licking her lips, she padded carefully forwards, dark grey fur brushing over the grass.
-
Gooseflower shuddered and gritted her teeth, the small she-cat digging her claws into the edge of the nest. Where was Ravenfeather? She pushed as hard as she could, a tremor running down her spine as she closed her eyes tightly.
-
That's quite alright, take your time! nwn
-
Gooseflower chewed obediently, pushing again with a short cry of pain. The grey tabby queen shuddered. This was only the first kit!
Newtpaw gathered her haunches and pounced forwards, missing again. "Fox dung!" she cursed under her breath. She then noticed the scent trails of Rivalledblood and Heavystep... crossing over the border? She also caught the scent of a strange cat, definitely not one who was in the Clan. The two could be in trouble! Flattening her ears, the apprentice slunk carefully forwards, eyes alert and concerned.
-
Gooseflower sank her teeth into the piece of bark, pushing again as a second kit slid out, its fur a soft grey like hers. Letting a small smile grace her face, she blinked at the two kits before returning all her attention to the kitting, groaning softly.
Newtpaw crept forwards a few more pawsteps, beginning to catch rumbles of their voices. They were close! As the two toms pawsteps came closer to her, the small apprentice ducked under some brambles, eyes wide with confusion.
-
Gooseflower pushed the third kit out, breathing heavily. The stick crunched between her teeth as the silvery queen finished her kitting with a fourth kit. She flopped over, exhausted, tail curling around her kits.
Newtpaw stepped out of the bushes cautiously, blinking at the deputy respectfully. Her eyes flicked from Heavystep to Rivalledblood and she dipped her head, padding forwards a few paces.
