Nightfur stood behind Dewpaw. "You okay, my apprentice", she said in a calm, kind voice.
Flamepelt and Sunstorm headed to the bridge near the border by the river. They were walking through the forest, just feeling the soft wind their fur. " It's a lovely day", Flamepelt said.
"Indeed it is. Sad to waste such a beautiful day fixing a bridge instead of sunning on a rock", Sunstorm replied.
When they got to the bridge, Flamepelt carefully walked on the bridge to see if there were any cracks. When he put his paw up, the bridge began to collaspe.
"Okay. I know how we can fix this", Flamepelt said. He walked toward the edge where Sunstorm was and said, "Hand me sap please"
"Sure Flamepelt", Sunstorm said and got some sap on a leaf and gave it to Flamepelt.
"Thank you. Now lets put the sap under this log", Flamepelt said. He looked at Sunstorm and said,"You paying attention"
"Yeah Flamepelt. I'm paying attention", Sunstorm said.
Flamepelt got back to working on the bridge. He got done putting sap underneath the log. He was thinking how to hold the bridge up from falling any further so it won't collapse under other cats paws. "Hand me a large piece of bark, will you", Flamepelt said.
Sunstorm nodded and cut out from a log that was next to him a large sheet of bark. He ran back to Flamepelt and laid the piece of bark affront of him. "Is this a good size", Senators asked.
"It's perfect", Flamepelt said and placed the sheet of bark under the logs to support them from collapsing.
"Okay. That should hold the bridge", Flamepelt said.
