In a deep, dark forest, a little cat named Shimmersong emerged from the fronds of the ferns and saw a small glimmering light in the distance. "What's that?," she asked herself. She padded over to the strange light and saw another cat there too. She was a large light, shimmery she-cat, but her fur looked dark in the night. "Do you know what this is?," she asked, pointing her tail towards the glowing thing. "No," said Shimmersong. "Well, I do. That, is a wishing well," said the other she-cat. "It can't be! There are no such things as a wishing well," yowled the Shimmersong into the pitch black sky. "Try it," said the she-cat and, while looking directly at Shimmersong, sat down and layed down a sparkling ember next to Shimmersong. The Shimmersong picked up the ember with her teeth and threw it nto the well. As it fell she said,"I want a clan, a wishing clan, with me to make the first leader. I am now Shimmerstar, my ancestors! I will travel here again tonight for my nine lives and be a leader." Whispy couds moved towards her taking the shape of cats. Starclan! Shimmerstar looked around and saw the ghosts of her past. "Mom! Dad! Hailstorm!," she yowled when she saw her brother and her other family members. Other cats emerged too, and they all touched Shimmerstar's fur. "We give you these nine lives," they chourused. "Shimmerstar. Your wish is granted. Wishclan, is yours." In a blink of an eye the Starclan cats disappeared and one tiny star appeared in the sky. Shimmerstar turned towards the shimmery cat. "I now pronounce you as Moonshimmer, my deputy." Moonshimmer nodded and they both padded off towards the place, where their new clan began... [/fancypost]
