"That's a good question." Moondancer said.

He howled and then snarled, clamping down on her shoulder and shaking furiously.

"Let's take her to leader." He said and smiled. "I think she's earned a place in this herd."

Blaze growled and watched her go. He decided to find the she-wolf and make sure she was ok. He caught up quickly. "Are you ok?" He asked her.

Moondancer had nickered to Silver and watched as she came over. Since she had asked Atlas, he let him answer.

"Who was that wolf?" He asked, even though he knew the Alpha.

Moondancer listened closely. He didn't want to admit it, but he wanted her to join.

"Why was she after you?" HE asked.

Moondancer blinked. "Didn't see that coming." He murmured to himself.

He was silent a moment. "I knew someone like you." HE said. "She left her pack too."

Moondancer looked at Starrylight. He smiled and looked back to Rion and Soul.

"wait." he said. "you shouldn't travel alone."

"You wont." He said. "Come on." He nudged her towards his temporary cave/home. "I have food and you'll need it."

Blaze walked beside her, towering over her.

His muscles rippled beneath his coat, the only proof of him ever being in a pack. He stopped at the entrance to the cave. "Go inside and get comfortable." He said. "There's a bed in the back corner. I'll be back with food." He began walking off.

Moondance waited patiently for Starylights response. We needed this mare.

Moondancer watched Atlas take off without a word. He grew curious, but did not follow.

Moondancer watched the two from where he stood.

Moondancer approached the two and dipped his head in greeting to the mare. "I'm Moondancer. The deputy of this herd. Starrylight will speak with you in a moment." (Whenever she gets on lol )

Moondancer watched as his leader collapsed, the role of Leader falling on him. Would he be enough?
