Dashpaw, still confused, walked around the forest, wondering where she was.

This is a novel written by me called Legenders. Every now and then I will get a new chapter up, but keep in mind that it takes me a while to come up with the ideas of the storyline and write it. Down below are some questions that will most likely be asked:

What are Legenders?: Legenders are wolves with special power. These special wolves are not discovered until during the book....
Are the Legenders the Main Characters?: I can't say... That is a spoiler.
What are the Main Characters?: Well there are eight main characters. Some are important than others but they all play really big parts. Our most main character is Whirlwind, a clever she-wolf who starts out as an omega of the Pack of Fading Whispers. Our other main characters are Rocky, Flash, Rain, Sunny, Shadow, Fireball, and Destiny.
Which Characeter is Your Favorite?: I am proud to say that my favorite character is Flash. Most people would think that Whirlwind would be my favorite because she's the main character, but that's incorrect. I don't really like main characters.... They stand out too much! My favorite is Flash, and an intresting fact about her is that I made her so that she is based on me! Same personality, same interests, same hobbies.
Is There a Name for Legender Fans?: As a matter of fact, there is! We call ourselves Legendeers, so if you are a fan of this book, you are a legendeer!
Are You Going to Publish This?: If I can find a publisher, than that's a definate yes! I knos right? It will be so awesome!

Prolouge

A cold breeze swept across a snoey meadow, chilling the souls of wolves who proudly strode across the clearing. The wolves were gathering together for some sort of meeting that had an unknown reason. One wolf, a shadowy black alpha leapt on a large boulder and gleamed at everywolf who dared to appear at the unknown gathering.

The alpha raised his head and the wolves grew silent as if a single signal was set off. "All Dark Dreaders, I have called you all to gather he today for a special occassion." The alpha's voice rang loudly in the Winter's air. "First off, I'd like to point out that it's almost time to strike! Once we raid all packs and scare them nearly to death they eill do nothing but let us take over as alphas. Soon enough we'll be ruling the entire world, and wiping out the human race for all eternity!" The black wolf laughed viciously and all the others joined in with their screams and shouts of triumph.

Once all the noises of agreement died down the alpha continued, "But our whole plan could be jeopardnized! There is a threat that lays upon us! A threat that keeps haunting me every hour of every day. This threat is a prophecy that was brought to me several weeks ago. Night comes after day, and day comes after night. When all turns bad, it becomes right. Fire, water, dark, and light. Air, electricity, ground, and life. These elements will come together to stop the Dreader that seeks his wrath for a fight.

Chapter 1: Lupa's Prophecy

A skinny white she-wolf sat alone in a small clearing. It was around dawn and the she-wolf was carving something in a stone. "My discoveries show that the creature who stole our prey was definently wolf from a piece of fur that was next to one of the pawprints leading to where our prey hole was. Also from evidence of the pawprints this wolf's paws are about three times the size of mine. He has mattled black fur and smells like somewolf vomited on him." She murmered what she was carving with her claw.

"Up already?" Somewolf said behind her. The she-wolf turned around to see a large gray and white wolf with broad shoulders and a fluffy tail that swayed back and fourth. The she-wolf nodded. "Yeah, I'm trying to find out who took our food." She quietly saidn before going back to carving. "Whirlwind, are you sure about this?" The gray wolf asked, his paws shifting.

"Come on dad!" Whirlwind shouted. "I can do this! And this will prove to everywolf that omegas are just as good as the others!" She glanced up to the sky. "And that we can join the Spirits of the Lights as well as them." "So that's what this is about." Her father intrerrupted. "No! Not exactly, I mean-umm." She lowered her head in shame. "Yes."

They just sat there silently only to be looking at eachother every two seconds before the gray wolf spoke up, "Come, it's time we go back to the cave." He bgan to slowly make his way towards a cave that was on a ledge of a mountain.

Whirlwind followed, keeping her pace far from her father. Why won't he understand? She thought as she trailed through the forest. He's my father he should be supporting me but instead he's acting as if I'm trying to track down something that doesn't exist. She shook her head. I'll show him! I'll show everywolf! Whirlwind became lost in her thoughts as she climbed the mountain. The young she-wolf misplaced her footing and almost slipped. Luckily her father grabbed her scruff and carefully pulled her up.

When Whirlwind was safe on the ledge she didn't even thank her father for saving her, she just glared at him and growled, "I didn't need your help!" She slowly jerked her head around and padded into the cave, leaving her father to wonder what he did wrong.

Everywolf stared at Whirlwind and filled her ears with rude comments. "Oh look it's little omega Whirlwind!" A wolf laughed. "Hey Whirlwind, have you uncovered the truth about the prey stealer!" Another said sarcasticaly.

Whirlwind just continued to walk, blocking out every insult that was to be heard. She just flopped down on the ground and rested her head on her paws. She slightly shut her eyes, slipping off into sleep in no time.

"Whirlwind!" A voice echoed in a cave with a shining purple rock. Whirlwind cocked her head in confusment at the voice. "Whirlwind! whirlwind!" The voice said again. Whirlwind turned around to see a glowing gray wolf staring right at her. "Oh my gosh!: Whirlwind gasped as she gazed at the she-wolf. "It-it's you! The actual Lupa!" The glowing she-wolf nodded. "I'm an omega, and I can see you! I have so many questions to ask. How do you watch over us? Is there like an item that can help you see far away?" Lupa shook her head. "I see you in visions, but that's not important!" Whirlwind interrupted her, "Why do omegas and alphas have different ways?" Lupa growled, "Whirlwind just listen! I came to bring you a messsage! Light, dark, and life will earn knowlege.
Lightning and fire will stand strong.
Water and ground will be loyal.
And air will lead the way."

Whirlwind lifted her up and asked, "What's that supposed to mean?" Luna rested her tail on Whirlwind's muzzle. "Shh, I'm not finished yet. On the night of the fright the eight must travel to the place where dreams come true. If they're too late all will begin to hate and the world will be feeling blue." Whirlwind was confused. "The place where dreams come true? But where could that be?" She looked at Lupa, but the ancient wolf was gone. "Hello? Lupa?" Seh called but there was no reply.

Whirlwind sat quietly in the cave for a few short seconds, scanning the area for Lupa."Whirlwind!" A familiar voice rang in her ears. "Lupa is that you?" She blinked her eyes open to see a strong brown wolf crouching over her. "Yes I am so Lupa, a dead she-wolf." He woofed sarcasticaly. Whirlwind rolled her eyes and asked in an unpleasant tone, "What do you want?" The wolf stepped off her and said, "Woah, you don't need to get all fiesty. It's your father, he wants to see you." Whirlwind grunted, "Oh great." "Well I can lead you to him!" The wolf offered. "No Viti." Whirlwind said and got up. "I'm not a pup, I can find him myself." She turned and trailed off, not even letting Viti reply.

Whirlwind scampered through the cave and peered through the enterance, only to spot her father sitting at the end of the ledge of the mountain, staring out into the horizon. Whirlwind padded closer to him and barked, "Viti told me that you wanted to tell me something." Her father turned around and nodded. "I wanted to tell you that Roda is pregnant with my pups." Whilwind's jaw dropped open and she yowled, "But Roda isn't your alpha female, Heedi is!" Her father shook his head. "I'm calling a pack meeting tonight, Roda is going to be announced new alpha female." Whirlwind stared at her father. "But what's wrong with Heedi?" She asked, hoping for a good reason to choose Roda over her. "Nothing." The alpha said. "Heedi's fine, it's just that Roda shows more leadership and responsibility."

Whirlwind growled, "You've had far too many alpha females, and-" "We don't have time to talk." The alpha intterupted her. "The meeting must begin now!" He jumped on top of a pointed stone. "It's your alpha speaking!" He began. "All wolves must stop what they're doing and gather here around the pointed stone!" Whirlwind sighed and walked toward the stone.

She-wolves and wolves of all ages were settling themselves in front of their great alpha, waiting for him to speak. "Wolves of the pack of Fading Whispers, I have gathered you today to tell you that Heedi is no longer the alpha female." A black she-wolf hung her head down as she heard him restrict her from being alpha female. "And the new alpha female is Roda!" He finished. "Roda! Roda! Roda!" The pack cheered. Once the cheering died down, Whirlwind called out, "Stop!" The pack fell completely silent as the omega strode towards her father. "You've had five alpha females already. Two are dead, and you're taking on a sixth? Sixth you disguist me!" Gasps rose in the crowd, only to be silenced by Whirlwind's words. "You are turning our pack into a lion pridew, you pratically mate with every she-wolf you meet and you think that your pups are okay with this? If that's how you want it to be, then fine! Do what you want!" Whirlwind turned her back on him and sprinted to the other direction. She ran until she was almost out of pack territory. She wasn't paying attention to her surroundings and raninto another wolf. Both wolves fell down. When they lifted their heads up, Whirlwind reconized the white wolf. She stared in shock and gasped, "Rocky?"

Dashpaw heard a loud growl and turned around. She saw a large orange wild cat with dark black stripes(a tiger) and he tiger charged at her. She jumped over the tiger and then she had an idea. The apprentice climbed up a tree and grabbed on the branch with her claws, swinging off and onto a different branch that was in another tree. She kept doing this until she got away from the tiger that tried to attack her.
