"She looks quite frightened, elf." Kasen walked over to the corner, now seeing her was obvious. Dwarves had keen eyesight in the dark, for spending their lives entirely underground. He offered his hand to the girl.

Kasen squinted his eyes as he looked her over. "No, I do not know of you." He stroked his beard with thought. "What do you mean by that you know of us?"
-
Aw, I can't comment on band. I was in sports and engineering clubs :0
-
Hey you're the one who chose to have dumb as a name.
all jokes are fair game
-
:P Hey she's the only one that ever calls herself dumb, I'm a nice sister.
-
Ew knee injuries are the worst. That's the reason I'm not playing soccer this season. :/
-
"Don't look to me, elf," Kasen standing a bit straighter. "I do not believe I was written in a book either, but who knows what has happened."
-
"I protect all those who need it." He spat sharply at the elf. "We best be off to find the others, they are surely lost, or at each other's throats."
-
Or chop it all off.
so much stress gone -
Kasen ran towards the noise, pulling out his sword. "What is that creature?"
-
"Game?" Kasen questioned, sword at hand. He did not like riddles and he did not like this thing. "I have to agree with the elf, I say we put the beast down."
-
"Well, what maze? It looks like the only thing native to here," Kasen grumbled. It just kept talking in circles.
-
Kasen nodded as he handled the sword in his hands. "This has dried blood...." he trailed off. He looked up to his taller companion. "It would seem that I must've stabbed something a while ago."
-
A crease appeared on his forehead as he grumbled, "This is not my blade." He held it staring at the hilt. He did not know why he said that, but something about it upset him. "I did not make this at least..." He looked over to the ring, trying to divert his train of thought. "Married to who?"
-
"And where will we go?" the dwarf asked. He looked around the stone city, it's walls unforgiving. "Is there anywhere to go..."
-
"Well, finding water is a good idea," he nodded in agreement and then patted his stomach. "If we're lucky we will find something to eat. I feel starved."
-
"We should focus on the maze for now." Kasen agreed. He did not like the idea of what the buildings held. For all he knew, it held more creatures like the one with the puzzles.
-
"We can't trust this place to obey the laws of logic," Kasen warned. Nothing made sense here, so he wouldn't be surprised if the clouds were just there. No people wandered the streets, no busy markets, no life.
-
Kasen rubbed his temples. "Are you all so noisy?" He still did not know what to think of the child and the constant bickering of the group was not helping.
-
"I do not know, nor do I care," Kasen growled, his hunger making him irritable. He started towards one of the stone buildings. "I am going this way to search for food, you all may follow or not."
