yes, so the last two need to be boys!
-
A stout dwarf woke up to the ringing of the elf's call. He grabbed his stomach, a piercing hurt nearly drove him into screaming. He looked up, slowly gaining his balance as he stood up. Stone surrounded him, but it was not comforting or familiar. The scent of death was strong, and he could he hear water running. He glanced around, searching for the source but to no avail. He then remembered the ringing. "Who goes there?" He was able to shout, though his deep voice seemed to die out into the vast city.
-
Kasen turned quickly around, unsheathing his blade and pointing at the slender elf. "Kasen..." his name suddenly slipped from his lips, the only thing he could remember clearly. He shook his head and focused back to the elf. "Who...what are you?"
-
He lowered his sword, but did not sheathe it. "You obviously have never met a dwarf before, elf." He looked him up and down a few times, sizing him up. He then put up his blade, deciding something so thin and tall could not be of any threat. He folded his arms over his chest. "If you would, please explain where I am."
-
Kasen nodded, but he noticed an odd looking creature coming behind Andreois. It looked like a skunk. Holding a crossbow. He quickly, shoved the elf out of the way, withdrawing his sword taking a defensive stance. "And what would that be?"
-
Kasen eyed the creature, still not quite to make of it. "By the stone, it talks!" He found it's accent odd, but it was definitely talking. He lowered his sword and paused. "What are you?" He inquired, a perhaps an offensive question, but a quite truthful one.
-
"A witch?"he scoffed. "Your mind is too fanciful elf, for such things surely do not exist." He eyed the antro again, "Though I'm not sure what's real anymore." He sheathed his sword, and glanced towards the darkness, his eyes squinted. "It would seem we also have more company."
-
"Stop talking to the animals," his gaze going to Zhane. "Who is this thing?" He was exasperated. "You wouldn't happen to have a map or a key out of this place, would you?" he sighed. "At least a door."
-
"Human?" Kasen seemed confused by this term, it sounding odd coming from his lips. He looked down at the bird, and knelt to pick it up. "Well this bird came from somewhere. Perhaps there is a way out then."
-
"Enough about this bird," Kasen grumbled, slightly frustrated now. "There are more important questions, and it would seem none of us have any answers." His brow furrowed as he thought. "How did I get here... how did anyone get here?"
-
"Why that's absurd." Kasen looked up at the elf. "I may not remember much, but I understand a concept of home," he glanced down, solemn for a moment. "And this is not mine."
-
"I do not belong here, human," he barked in agitation. "This all could be very much your home, but I know you are not my kin and this is not my..." he trailed off, as he stared into nothing. "Not my..." But the word would not come. He could not remember where he hailed, and this frightened him.
-
Kasen looked over at Geoffrey. "Put that up, spilling blood here will accomplish less than nothing." He turned back to the elf. "Well, we understand that this isn't where we're meant to be, but it is where we ended up. So," he looked into the group, "What do we do?"
-
As the others spoke Kasen, looked around at the stone city. The rotting stench permeated the air, yet he could not see anything dead. He heard rushing rivers, yet saw no water. He glanced over at Zhane and nodded at him. "Yes, I believe finding more...stragglers would be wise. I guess we meet back here?"
-
Kasen rubbed his eyes as he stared at the girl. "The bird was...was a girl. By the stone, these parts grow stranger and stranger by the moment." He then looked to the group as he introduced himself. "I am Kasen son of..." and leaving that part out he bowed. "At your service."

ooc: yeah that'd be totally fine, but dumb is at work right now but i know she'd be cool with it

(hey i need my beauty sleep)
Kasen looked up at the elf. "So why this direction? Did you hear something?" he inquired. He did not like the idea of splitting up, but he would be compliant, since no one else had a better idea.
