Foreverpaw made a little pouty face, her lower lip trembling. 'B-but Slatepaaaaaaw, this i-is such a better way to communicate.'

The startled movement woke Foreverpaw suddenly, causing her to jump up in fright. "Woah, wait, what happened?" The apprentice squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head before opening them again. Then she remembered where she was and looked down at the kitten. "Abstractkit are you okay," she asked, bending down.
-
'Yeah, I think you did," Foreverpaw said, ducking her head in the warriors' den before coming back out, looking around curiously.

S
he sighed. "When I can find them, Slatepaw. Have patience."
-
Alchemistpaw laughed at the warrior's expression, rolling over on his back. "Yeah, I do see, and it's pretty funny," Alchemistpaw wooped with amusement, feeling her paw bump against his side.
-
Alchemistpaw felt her paws pin him at the shoulders. He let out a shrill squeal - forced, of course - and squirmed under her. "Oh no, don't eat me!"
-
But Foreverpaw didn't ask any questions. No, she just curled up around the kit, and wrapped her tail around the too of them. She still seemed to be in shock, and the apprentice didn't want to upset her even more. No, she just wanted to comfort Abstractkit

Outside the den, Foreverpaw was considering whether to enter or not. She was their aunt, but she wasn't too fond of kits - excluding little Abstractkit. Like she always said, she was more Rainlegs then Breathfrost. The thought of the squirming bundles made the almost-warrior wrinkle her nose in disgust. But, in the end, the chocolate tabby decided that she had too.
Pushing herself into the den, it took time for her grey eyes to become accustom to the different tone of light. But once the for, of the earthy warrior came into focus, she sorta wished she hadn't decided to go into the den to meet her new born relatives. She always wished that she had learned to keep her muzzle shut when surrounded by queens and kits.
"Are those your kits? Ewww…" The words had barely passed through her maw before regretting them. Already she could feel the glares from queens on her because of her reaction.
-
She bit her lip, glancing up and down the river. It was shallower, as Oakpaw had said, but it was still faster then where they first crossed. It did seem to be slower here then around it though, so this spot was probably still their best bet. "Okay," she agreed slowly.
-
Oh, but Foreverpaw felt like a mother to the helpless kit. Staying awake while Abstractkit slept, she stroked the young kit's back with her white tipped tail. Her thoughts were confusing, and the time she was given now was only enough time to sort out a bit of her worries.
-
Foreverpaw must've fallen asleep for a moment, because suddenly her head jerked back and she opened to eyes to see cats moving around and the sun shining through the den. Standing up, swaying in her paws, Foreverpaw bent down her front and stretched her back out, flexing her paws. "Morning Abstactkit," she yawned, looking down at the little bundle.
-
Foreverpaw hissed, her fur clotted and patched in places, at Alfred. "Man up, this is how we survive. If you don't like it, you don't have to stay," the chocolate tabby scolded angrily. Her grey eyes narrowed to thin slits as she licked her shoulder, wincing at the fiery pain that erupted where here tongu had rasped.
-
A lean chocolate shape pushed itself into the den, yawning widely. She had overheard a bit of what the cats had said, and was somewhat interested in joining in. "Hey, I could give it a shot with you guess," she said.
-
She snorted loudly at him, shaking her head at the tinkling of his collar. "Yeah, you're gonna be outranking me for a moon. Big whoop. When are you going to get rid of that twoleg mark?" Her voice was cold and barely gave off the joking tone that she would usually use. She didn't care for how Alfred still acted like a kittypet in the form of fighting.
-
Glancing down at the kitten, a smiled tugged at the corners of her maw. "Abbydoodle," Foreverpaw almost laughed as she voiced the nickname that had sprung up in her mind, "Do you want to rest for a while more?"
-
Yeah, I have had past experiences with fancyposts. I had a shop, and make my own sometimes. And yeah, I know the basics.
All in all, I would like to learn - or, to better word it - refine all of those skills. Like, how to change a regular fancypost into a dotted bordered fancypost just by adding the part of the code that does dotted borders.
-
She laughed at Abstractkit's eagerness for more rest, and even more at her expression. "Well, first do you want to get something to eat? I assume you were already introduced to freshkill."
-
Foreverpaw watched Plasmaflare intently, nodding slowly. She didn't like Riverclan one bit, but she would deal with it. For Starclan, and for Windclan's allies.
