Hi Nightcrawler! I have never read any comic books (which is beginning to surprise me) but I find the X-men fascinating. DH is obsessed with comics and used to be a huge collector, but he sold half of his collection and the other half got destroyed in Hurricane Fran years ago :(

Sure, too, had lost her friend. She had been as deeply bonded with the little girl as if she'd been living in the house for a long time. She missed her mother, and had been taken from her far too early. So much to experience as a very young kit, and to experience it all on her own...

Cautiously the kit licked her lips, eyeing Plus carefully and with apprehension. "Sure," she said finally, dipping her head a little bit. Her tail unfurled slightly and she stretched her shoulders, beginning to relax just a little bit.

ROFL no! I discovered Warriors yesterday when I found this forum!

I might be able to talk Hubby into getting me to the book store later tonight, but the problem is that I have a TBR stack a mile high and am still struggling through The Host. I'm a reviewer (not professional) and my followers are probably wondering where the heck I've gone. I just can't seem to digest this book at all, but science fiction isn't really my genre, and that could account for it!

Okay, so I totally cast aside my TBR list and went to the bookstore tonight to see if I could find the books. Not a one of them at half price books (and Hubby won't "let" me shop for books anywhere else at the moment, since money is tight). I will keep my eyes out though!

Have you tried pressing cntrl+F5 in order to do a hard refresh of the page?

I volunteer on a social networking site where this kind of problem is very common and usually a hard refresh will fix the problem.

Hmm.... Do you know how to do a hard refresh with your system?

I've also tried before shutting the browser down and then reopening it and have had luck with that. Usually it's a sign of a coding error somewhere, but it seems my husband and I have more problems on Tagfoot than most.

    Name: Charcoalkit
    Gender: Male
Pelt: Black with bright green eyes
Why you want one?: I am new, and I like to play organically. Instead of joining a clan, I'd like to play a cat who is born into the clan.

I really don't know anything about Warrior Cats, since I discovered them through this site, but I'm an experienced role player and feel that this is a great way to learn!

    Thanks for considering me!

Then it's obviously not an OS problem, just the way that your hotkeys are set up.

I can try to dig up some help for you, but chances are you'll get another answer here before I can get any of my resources to come up with something. Sorry, I tried! :)

Oh boy... That's really tough :(

I had a pet rat once who was given antibiotics for an ear infection. Ultimately the infection still killed her anyway. She was old though, close to three when it happened.

I'm really sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter if it's the tiniest of pets or our cats and dogs it's *always* hard.

I have had two different types of pythons in several different morphs (both royal/ball pythons and Burmese pythons), two red-tail boa constrictors, corn snakes, savannah monitors and Leopard Geckos. We had to rehome them though when I became pregnant with our daughter since I didn't like the risk of salmonilla (which can be quite high), or the risk of one of the bigger snakes getting to our daughter. Burms get very large.

At the moment it's just our four cats and...

Two sugar gliders! Can I put pics in here to show you?

This is Widget as a joey. Wotzit is a lot less gregarious so I've not gotten any pictures of her. You can't honestly tell the difference since they are both female. It's all in the personality. They're both standard grays.

LOL! I face the cuteness every day!

I need to get them a new bonding pouch though since they got bored on our last trip and chewed through the old one. Ugh! I want one of those cute little glider purses so I can take them with us *everywhere*! :)

I read somewhere that they are endangered in Australia. Talk about EXOTIC!

Sure didn't mean for it to happen, but Plus had caught her off guard, and the laughter bubbled up from her belly before she could stop herself. It came out as a sort of a snort through her nose as she tried to swallow it back, and she tossed her blue head from side to side in amusement.

It had been a long time since she'd felt that good!

Sure snapped her teeth and flipped her tail more casually this time, trying to wipe the grin off her face. Her green-tinged eyes were bright, her pupils dilated as she nodded. "Sure. My name is sure. Like... Sure of herself." Like I used to be, Sure added to herself.

Sure's concentration had been momentarily diverted by her own amusement. Plus's mistake wasn't surprising at all, and for a moment she'd let her guard down. It felt good to laugh and to relax a little bit. Her heart wasn't thudding nearly as hard as it had when she'd first seen the other young cat.

Still, her ears swiveled this way and that as though looking for some signal. She heard the sounds in the nearby brush, and the tip of her tail pounded the ground in agitation as she fought the urge to flee. She'd made the choice to leave the old place behind -- she was going to have to get used to this, however distrustful she may be.

The soft "thud" next to her as Fame met the ground again brought Sure to attention. Her shoulders tensed again and she quickly pulled her tail out of the way. He'd nearly landed on it. One ear pressed back against her head in irritation, but she suppressed the growl in her throat before it could pass from her, and she shook her head, forcing her ears to prick back up into a more normal position. "Sure," she said by way of giving him her name, and then she gave a kittenish grin in spite of herself. "That's my name. Sure."

Wow, talk about LUCKY, Fruit! Glad to hear the report from the vet was so good!

I'm about to head off to bed. It's been a super strange day and I've had a ridiculous amount of energy, considering I was on here until nearly three in the morning last night. Really crazy stuff.
