[size=8]"Not every loner is mean and hateful," he reminded her, flicking his tail lazily. "And I believe she left to go eat her fish that I caught for her. Though perhaps she was just more antisocial than other cats."

[size=8]"Yes, of course," he smiled in amusement. "This is a river, after all." What it took was remaining patient. And while he often found that many cats lacked patience, some actually did. Hopefully this she-cat had patience.

[size=8][color=#D9D9D9]"Yes, very cute," he agreed, purring just a bit. It was a scratchy sound,
seeming almost more like a growl than a purr, though there was a slight
difference because there was a smile on his lips. Had he been scowling--
as he usually was--it would have most definitely been a growl.

"Nothing," he mewed in return, shaking his head a bit. He didn't really want to share what had amused him with this she-cat. For one, she'd likely get very mad, and for two, he just wanted to be a tad difficult.

"Well, there's a hollowed out tree just a little ways down the stream," he told her after thinking a moment. "Or there's a bunch of rocks that form a small cave back the way that you came from."

Cinuka nodded and stood up so that he could hop over to the shore. When the lost kittypet had joined him, he started back towards the cave he had mentioned. Just as he had said, some rocks had fallen together to form a cave that was just big enough for two or three cats to fit inside of.
